I got x-rays done... waited another 20-30 min for the doctor... and the doc came - did my exam. Said what I needed to get done. Totally understand - I need things done but I have GREAT insurance.... like so great that I don't have a copay for MOST things. so when the financial lady comes by and slaps a $1600 quote in my face and tells me nothing is covered i go... "Just do a regular cleaning - I'll figure out the rest later". Me thinking Ill go back call my insurance on Monday cuz theres a mistake and then Ill make another appointment". She proceeds to push and tell me that "due to your health, we cant do that and deep clean is required and its $200... blah blah blah" im like.. "im not paying that - just do a regular clean for now" and she says "we cant do that" So yes, I leave pissed off for wasting almost 2 hours in this damn office who did nothing for me..... ONLY TO FIND OUT MY INSURANCE COVERS EVERYTHING and she kept trying to push a laser treatment and whatever other crap on me. Like there are other ways and other methods that are covered in my insurance.... and crowns and other things are covered so don't give me options NOT COVERED when I clearly have options that are. Why West Coast dental in n menifee didn't sent those Xrays over to the fontana office on June 8th (a monday) or maybe I had the x rays a week later around June 15th. But still, why didn't many send those x rays to the fontana office in the first place in JUNE 2026? I am couch surfing in Lake Elsinore. I don't have income. Unless you think $326 in GA is income. So many of you recommended to me to go to fontana, to see if they can do the retreat of the root canal I spent money i didn't have for gasoline. I have 4 bills, phone 85, car insurance 128, credit card 90 & gasoline is left. The money that I get doesn't go very far. And I don't pay rent, because I don't have money to pay rent. Because the unemployment insurance is for people that are recently unemployed. And I haven't worked in two years, and just because you look for work doesn't mean you're going to get hired. Now the endodontist Dr. GARCIA back in june 2026 - that office made an appointment for me sometime in june without telling me what the appointment was for and I drove my little a** down the menifee ( and he said, i'm going to pull your tooth today. I said, no, you're not. Why am I here? Your office never told me that you wanted to pull my tooth) So I got a beef with the menifee office for sending me to Fontana (Wendy asked me why menifee sent me to them. Good question) I'm impressed with the fontana office. Even though both endodontist said the tooth can't be retreated due to THE POST in my tooth from 2006 ish. I want to say thank you, wendy, for allowing me not to drive forty five miles. One way for nothing, at least I got something out of the visit. I will need to make sure the menifee office NEVER schedules me for anything- until I know WHAT they want to do to me a week in advance. I don't have money laying around to drive all over the place I suggest that if you live in the fontana area you might want to look up this office and see if you can get services there. If you go to Menifee, be sure that when you get an appointment, you always ask. What is the appointment for don't go there, thinking that they will tell you what the appointment is for. You must ask. I don't know if you live right in the city. And you have all kinds of money, then go ahead, drive all over the place!

First, Dr. Olety: Dr. Olety is an excellent dentist. At our first appointment, I was so pleased by his chair side manner. He explained his concerns and advised me how to correct them. Based on his evaluation, I did what he suggested regarding my dental care. Second appointment, my crown broke on my implant. Again, he assessed the situation and discussed my problem with his colleague Dr. Parks, the Periodontist. Based on their expertise, the crown was put back. I am so grateful for the doctor's bedside manner. Both, explained everything and I was able to make a valid decision. Second, Dr. Parks: Dr. Parks is an excellent dentist too. I had 2 appointments with Dr. Parks. On both occasions he was direct and again, explained my condition. The second was his consultation with Dr. Olety. With his expertise, both doctors were able to save my implant crown. Third, Wendy, Office Manager: I had the pleasure of meeting Wendy when I started going to the Fontana office. She greeted me and our conversation was very candid. Wendy told me if I needed anything, just ask. When I had appointments, if she was available, she will check to see if everything was going well. My last visit was my crown situation; Wendy was right there. She talked with me and made my necessary future appointments based on Dr. Olety's determinations. To receive this kind of dedication makes me pause. Fourth, Pearla: I had to have impressions for trays. The first rep did her job, but I had issues. She did only 1 impression. Pearla enters to do the second impression. She is calm, attentive and notices I am uncomfortable. She speaks in a calming voice telling me that everything will be ok. She started to clean my face and chest. At that exact time, I felt calm. This all happened after she finished the impression. I told her that her chair side manner was great. I thanked her for calming me down. I wasn't angry, just uncomfortable. I was not feeling well when I left the office. She made sure I was ok when I walked out of the office. Getting an appointment was fine but they do not care for you in the long term. Dr. Gonzalez took off my retainers and told me my only option was to get braces again. I would've been happy to get it glued or let it be like that to keep my shape. I felt like they were trying to get money out of my minor visit which was ridiculous. I even asked if my teeth would be in the same shape after getting my retainer removed, just cause of how long I had them for. He said that they would stay in shape but the fact that he lied was what lost me as a customer. I have so much anxiety sleeping every night now just because how much my teeth shifts at the bottom. Mind you, the defect in the retainer was from the lack of glue placement of Dr. Gonzalez. His work is great but he does not take accountability in long term errors. Adding on to that, the visit costed 20$! For a 5 minute removal. I came in thinking that I would receive help or some sort of reassurance but was in shock of how I got charged. I was there for approximately 1 hour…read moreand 45 minutes for X-rays and an examination of my teeth, and by the end of the appointment they no longer had enough time to perform my cleaning. I do want to mention that the X-ray technician was lovely and kind, and I have nothing negative to say about her. I was then told that I needed a deep cleaning. I have never had a cavity, I take my dental health seriously, and I regularly go to the dentist three times a year, so I was very surprised by this recommendation. I explained that I could not afford a deep cleaning and asked if I could simply have a regular cleaning instead. They refused. When I spoke with the employee who handles insurance, I asked if she could speak with the doctor to see whether a regular cleaning was an option. She told me multiple times that she could not and that they could only do what the doctor recommended. Eventually, she said she would ask the doctor and call me back. I never received a call. Two weeks later, I went back into the office myself. She apparently had forgotten that she had agreed to ask and then told me that the doctor had said no. What is especially frustrating is that I now have to find another dentist and potentially pay another exam fee simply because this office refused to provide a regular cleaning. I went in expecting a routine dental visit and left feeling like I was being pressured into a significantly more expensive treatment that I could not afford. The interaction with the insurance employee was also very unpleasant. When I was signing the release of information for my X-rays, she stood with her hands on her hips and staring at me the entire time I filled out the paperwork to send to another dental office and she was dismissive. Overall, I did not feel listened to or respected as a patient. I would not recommend this office, especially if you are looking for a straightforward dental experience without feeling pressured into additional or more expensive treatment.
