Please reconsider getting braces/permanent retainers here. I recently came in for a visit to get my permanent retainers checked since it wasn't sturdy after 5 years of having them. Getting an appointment was fine but they do not care for you in the long term. Dr. Gonzalez took off my retainers and told me my only option was to get braces again. I would've been happy to get it glued or let it be like that to keep my shape. I felt like they were trying to get money out of my minor visit which was ridiculous. I even asked if my teeth would be in the same shape after getting my retainer removed, just cause of how long I had them for. He said that they would stay in shape but the fact that he lied was what lost me as a customer. I have so much anxiety sleeping every night now just because how much my teeth shifts at the bottom. Mind you, the defect in the retainer was from the lack of glue placement of Dr. Gonzalez. His work is great but he does not take accountability in long term errors. Adding on to that, the visit costed 20$! For a 5 minute removal. I came in thinking that I would receive help or some sort of reassurance but was in shock of how I got charged. If that was the case I could've yanked out the permanent retainer at home myself. I do not recommend coming here, please shop around other locations in Fontana. Sincerely, Kimmy read more

He was thorough with the original assessment and explained in the way I would understand what was going on with my teeth. I also appreciated how he actually cared to listen to a patient, me. Super friendly staff and Dr. Everyone was so caring and helpful ! I had a million questions and Dr. Gonzalez answered everyone of them through out my treatment ! I'm glad I found this place considering I've had a lot of bad experiences with the dentist , it can be scary trusting a new Dentist with your teeth but that wasn't the case for me at Creating Smiles Dentistry . If I could give 100 stars I would want to give 101. I'm afraid of dentists and the dark! Ok not the dark, but dentists YES, when I was growing up my parents took me to a a place that ended up with a 60 min segment on their questionable practices. My experiences from the ages of 5-18 were complete nightmares. I think it's a miracle I go to the dentist at all. Well my miracle is Dr. Gonzales. He has had the patience to figure out that I just don't numb easily. He takes the time to make sure I'm numb & does NOT rush me through so that he can get another patient in the chair.. I've been going to him for about 25 years. I can not say enough good things about him. He is a kind and patient person, tears stream down my face sometimes just because they have moved my chair into position. And he just talks me through it with his very compassionate and soothing demeanor/voice. As I mentioned, I don't numb well & he never rushes through a procedure with me. He offers me breaks throughout, a procedure ( I usually decline cause I just want to be over). I am in awe of him. But not only is Dr. Gonzales the best thing since wifi, his staff is amazing. Gabby is really nice, I can go a year not going to the dentist & I'll call to set up an appointment & she recognizes my voice right away. Rosie retired, but she had such great energy, she's someone I coumd imagine holding hands with while walking, she was just VERY reassuring and gentle. I don't think we ever did hold hands with her but she was sweet enough that I don't thing she would have bated an eye if I'd needed the reassurance. Like I said,, Rosie is enjoying her retirement but those are the types of people he employs. The office is ALWAYS clean and pretty. The dental chairs look out a north facing wall of windows and on a clear day, the view is gorgeous. Parking is great. I could write for days and I wouldn't tire of saying positive things. If you have any nervousness about going to a dentist, go here. Smile big & confess your fears. They will be gentle, kind & understanding, I promise! read more

Office: One of the cleanest and most hygienic dental offices I have been to. A nice and open floor plan office with lots of windows. They also have a kids play area. Open weekdays and the third Saturday of every month. Tip: If the waiting room is spotless you can be pretty sure the patient area is too...this is totally the case with Dr. Gonzalez's office. Doctor and staff: The front office staff and dental assistants are very friendly and warm. The assistants know what they are doing, they work efficiently and effectively. This was the first time I have had X-rays done and have not cried. Yes! Dr. Gonzalez is great at what he does. He is knowledgeable, kind, approachable, and sincerely cares about his patients. He is really straightforward, which I love...but it may come off as brusque to some. Service: I had an exam (X-rays etc.), scaling, a polish, and a cavity filled. I was in and out in just over an hour. Within 15 minutes of arriving I was already X-rayed and seated in a chair. Needless to say, one is attended to quickly! This does not mean you don't get time with the doctor, you get a nice chunk of face-to-face time with him. Price: Prices are above average, but completely worth it. Don't do your teeth a disservice and go to a discount dentist because you will end up with discount service and work. Pay a little more and get quality work done with Dr. Gonzalez. Overall: As great of an experience as a dental appointment could be. Super clean. Friendly, bilingual (Spanish/English), and knowledgeable staff and doctor. Hardly any waiting. Pricey but worth it. They also have the option to confirm appointments via SMS/text message, really nice. read more

This place so far is amazing, it was my first visit a few weeks ago, I am pending pre-approval of insurance coverage for a treatment. I have waited for almost 3 weeks, but granted the process can take up to 3 weeks, and this is on the insurance side. At any rate, the appointment was done efficiently, the walk in area was clean, the front desk woman was kind and customer service oriented, down to the backstage nurse and Doctor, they were friendly, informative, and also customer service oriented. It is funny, as the doctor walked in to the room, we stood looking at each other (saying, I know you...where do I know you from?), for we both felt we knew each other from somewhere else. Oddly, we did know each other, I had my braces done by him many years ago (20 years back) at another dentistry location. I liked his services then, he was kind and had a steady hand, never once hurt me then, hope his services are the same now, so far they seem to be. I can see why all the people I meet that day, we kind, it makes a difference to work with someone who is gentle, intelligent, and customer service oriented. Dr. Gonzales put braces on both of my children. He was very informative through the whole process and explained to me the differences my choices could, and in my case, would, make in my childrens lives. He gave them straight beautiful teeth WITHOUT pulling any teeth as the other dentist had told me we should, good thing I checked. He also explained performing certain procedures, like expanding my daughters upper palate to make room to accomodate her teeth, would provide other physical benefits, as strange as that sounded at the time. My daughter's alergies went away, she stop making noise when she slept, she said she just felt better with more energy and her grades went up. Did that all come from her braces?.. I don't know, but I do know it all seem to start happening during her treatment and my son saw similiar improvements. I love the fact he explained everything in detail to me and took all the time I needed to understand almost as much as I love the final product... and I have hed it done twice with the same results both times.... YEAH And yes, I felt his service was worth the 1.5 hr drive to and then from his office every time my kids needed to see him... a few hours of my life now for years of benefits for my kids... seemed like a fair trade to me... read more

My daughter went in for some work for her braces and had a lil discomfort, Dr. Gonzalez and staff were very reassuring and calming with her, but what makes me give this office a 5 was the customer service we recieved AFTER leaving his office, it was just a call later that evening to see how she was feeling and if she was in any pain. Dr. Gonzalez is legit! He's really sweet and funny. I always dreaded going to the dentist but since I've been coming here, I actually look forward to making my appointments. Front staff is also really nice and sweet. The girls are welcoming and get you checked in right away. Dr. Gonzales is probably the best dentist I have ever encountered. I have severe anxiety over dentists. But he made sure I was comfortable. I, of course, was shaking like a leaf. But he went ahead and did a few fillings... told me everything that was going on during the process. He didn't want to jump in on the root canal because he wanted us both to be comfortable with each other. Well yesterday I finally got the root canal and he did a wonderful job. And honestly I didn't feel a thing and I only have minor soreness in my jaw. I will be going back in two weeks to finish up the process. He has done an amazing job thus far. Now, he is not the only great thing about this office. His hygienists are super comforting and sweet. They all ask you how you are doing and will talk to you to ease your mind. The ladies are wonderful. And finally, the ladies in he front are the first people you see when you walk in. I have never felt so homey when walking into a dentist office. I mean I am usually terrified but they are all very reassuring and it helps so much that they all have kind hearts and helpful. One of the ladies helped me apply for assistance to make sure I am covered in costs. This was a great gesture for me. The costs seems very reasonable here. I have an embarrassing fear of the dentist, and like most people I put off going in until things are pretty painful and have escalated beyond what should've been preventable. I recently had an unbearable tooth ache and searched all over yelp for someone who I felt comfortable with. I came across Dr. Gonzalez and his amazing team, and I couldn't be happier. They scheduled me in for their soonest appointment and made sure that I was comfortable every step of the way.
