This place is awful. I had a terrible experience! First of all it has nothing to do with mattresses, it only sells used, damaged appliances, as I had noticed. I found a reasonably looking Kenmore Elite refrigerator but when asked for the price, I was told two different prices: one in Spanish by one employee and the other girl translated for me with the higher number for the price. Since I speak Spanish, I confirmed the price in Spanish with the employee and bought the refrigerator. The delivery is done by the 3rd Party called SLG Inc at 201-400-4330. I called them for the delivery on next Monday. I took a day off and waited for the refrigerator all day only to find out next day that the truck broke down and they could not deliver. I called SLG multiple time but there was no answer and the mail box was full to leave a message. Terrible experience with delivery as well! I also spend three hours back and forth on the phone and e-mails for the Trio to issue my Building Management a certificate of insurance since the employees of Trio could not understand what I needed, could not understand what my Building Management wanted, and at the end told my Building that Trio does not have insurance. My building denied me of this purchase. Bad experience! read more

I went into the store nearly a month ago, to buy a gas dryer and a dishwasher. They had a good selection of appliances and was able to deliver and install both appliances quickly, so I was happy. Day of install, the dryer didn't work and they had an issue with the dishwasher (missing part) so they had to come back. Next day, new dryer goes in. It works great and am happy. The dishwasher worked once and then stopped draining. A few days later, a technician was supposed to come to fix it. Waited 4 hours, no one showed up. Went down to the store and I'm told I'll get a new dishwasher. Fine. They installed that one, it also stops working, but not before flooding my kitchen. Now, dishwasher #3 shows up, they tell me it's brand new. Ran 2x fine, then it started having problems again and officially stopped working a week later. So now it's been a month of washing dishes by hand and I'm hoping the technician will actually show up. The owner keep insinuating that I'm doing something to these dishwashers to break them (I've never broken a dishwasher before in my life) and I'm done with this whole thing. They will not give you your money back so I either need to keep getting craptastic dishwashers or get a credit to buy something I don't need in their store. I wanted to save money on appliances but all I did was waste money and get aggravated. Oh, and they scratched my kitchen floor with all of the changing of the dishwashers. read more

Was looking for a dishwasher to replace the one in our unit which finally crapped out. I was like frantic because I didn't think I'd be able to afford one out of pocket, and even more discouraged after going to a few Big Box stores and seeing those price tags!!! Yikes! My uncle lives in Garfield and told me he always bought appliances from Trio Liquidators so I thought I'd check it out just to see if I could find a dishwasher that'd work for me and fit within my price range. I wasn't holding out too much hope but wow I was blown away by how much less the units at Trio Liq cost compared to buying new. Like, seriously deep discounts, and a lot of their appliances actually look totally factory new, like you wouldn't know the difference. We picked out a dishwasher and were able to get it installed and hooked up without problems within one week. I am sooo happy with my experience at this store and will definitely recommend it to all my friends! read more

Purchased a home that needed renovation needless to say I was looking for affordable appliances since this was a total gut home renovation with nothing inside- saw a LG fridge I had my eye on spoke to the attendant about the damage, which she assured me was minimal with just scratches, looked it over and went to purchase it, however my husband went to walk around the back and noticed that the entire back corner was dented beyond recognition, turns out this fridge was dropped from a big height and they were re-selling it after it had been "checked" by their mechanic, the warranty was for 90 days only and I swear it was leaking freon gas after 10 minutes of being trial turned on in the store. Attendant attempted to show me that the dent was only cosmetic, but it extended greater than 8 inches into the back of the fridge. At a cost of $1200.00 I was pretty pissed the store attendant didn't tell us about the damage but was able to overcome this as she showed us the same fridge in the same model that had no dents but had some scratches, and was slightly more expensive. I made the purchase and because of her failure to disclose the dented refrigerator she threw in delivery for free. Here's where we ran into a problem we also purchased a washer and dryer that were brand-new from her, and when the delivery man came to deliver it they had to make two trips because the refrigerator was so large. Because we had four steps until you get to the ground floor of the house the two-man truck teams that she hired did not feel that they could lift our refrigerator and left it on the side walk near the curb. When I called to complain she stated that this was a free service she was throwing in and then she had to pay for it and that it was too heavy to be lifted to Our ground floor and so we have to deal with it. I explained to her that this was very bad business and that she threw in the free delivery, to which she replied to see what she can do and I never heard from her again. We had limited time to get the fridge of the sidewalk or we would get fined by the city. In short if you decide to purchase something from this business be very careful to make sure they turn on the appliance and walk completely around it to make sure it's not damaged irreparably. Everything at the store is going to have a little bit of damage just know what you couldn't deal with. Make sure to ask the store attendant about damage but be prepared to be lied to as we were. Also know that they're going to have terrible customer service and do not I do use their delivery company, as it was just two men with a pick up truck, that looked like Craigslist guys. read more
