After a service call, Coserv determined that the consumer side pipes off of the gas meter were leaking gas. Called Triple Crown plumbing based off Yelp and Google reviews. They were able to fit me in the same morning. Received txt message notifications regarding on time arrival and service status. Richard Garcia (head tech) and Troy explained up front initial costs of preliminary work needed to be done and possible scenarios for advance situations. Walked me through what they were going to do, showed the work completed, and offered to come back to follow-up if gas company did not test and turn on gas to all appliances. Finished all work in a short window of time. Had City Permit Inspection scheduled immediately. I had triple crown come and help me install my fridge. There was something with the waterline that Home Depot installers told us to call a plumber for... I had received a coupon in the mail from triple crown and that's how I chose them. Three guys arrived and where very pleasant, one pulled out a monkey wrench, and in less than 2 minutes had my issue fixed. He very gracious said he wouldn't charge me a service fee but then turned around and charged me a $150 tool fee. That must have been some magical monkey wrench. I had a coupon too. That was $150 with a coupon. I have had some other issues with plumbing recently and have found some plumbers do not charge service fees or tool fees. They will give you quotes for service and not up-charge you like crazy. Do your research...ask for any hidden fees. Every plumber I have talked to I now ask, do you have a "tool fee" before scheduling and most of them don't even know what I'm talking about. read more

These guys are crooks, stay away. I had a blockage in a rental property and asked Triple Crown Plumbing to inspect and to clear it. I was out of town and they were aware of the fact that I had a tenant there without working plumbing and that I was in a bad situation that needed to be fixed ASAP. After arriving, they called and told me they were unable to clear the blockage and that most likely I had a collapsed main drain line, but it was late in the day (close to 5pm) and they could not inspect via camera until the next day. The next morning I received a call from Asa who told me that after video inspection, there was mud and debris in the drain indicative of a collapse, and he quoted me nearly $6,000 to tunnel in from the rear to replace that section of pipe. I decided to have another plumbing company come in for a second opinion, and they discovered that there was in fact a blockage and were able to clear it. They also ran a camera down the line and confirmed there was no drain damage and that it was completely sound. I spoke with Asa afterwards, and made him aware of the fact that there was no drain damage, and that one of his competitors was able to complete the job for me. My offer to him was that if he wanted to make it right, he could refund the fee I paid them for work they were not competent enough to complete in the first place. I never heard from Asa again. So, after Triple Crown Plumbing tried to steal $6,000 from me, they then had to audacity to not even refund the $250 blockage clearing fee that I paid them, when they did not even clear the blockage they were paid to clear. I have no doubt that Triple Crown Plumbing attempted to take advantage of my situation, and lied to me in order to make a few thousand extra bucks which is pretty despicable. I hired triple crown in March 2017 to fix gas line in attic. It was urgent and they had immediate appointments and i saw good reviews, so hired them. Bad decision!! They broke my main gas line pipe on gas meter. To change pipe, they cut dry wall in my bedroom. And then told me - he feels bad for me that he has to charge extra for all the additional work. A 30 min job of changing attic pipe ended up becoming half day job leaving a hole in bedroom. A simple gas pipe change job became a big project. I will NOT recommend this company. read more

In early 2017, I hired Triple Crown Plumbing to assist with a gas leak detection and fix based on a quick look at decent online reviews and browse of their professional-looking website. Well, I did not get the the quality of work that I saw in their website and reviews. While the sales person was knowledgeable and responsive, my customer experience went downhill from there. Quality of the work done is the major reason for this poor review: 1) A gaping hole was left in the brick exterior of my home (to invite all sort of bug critters I suppose): the company cited "We don't do the work of a mason" (well, they also market that they are not 'just plumbers') - this was eventually fixed by the company but not without some pushing around; 2) After 1 month, the exterior piping is rusted: the company responded "This is what black iron piping does; it's cosmetic" (I had them do new piping. For perspective, the prior gas piping I had for the last 10+ years had NO rusting) - I'm in talks with them to address this. No matter how you argue it, If you can visualize the above, you'd agree that that's not acceptable work - even if you didn't know a thing about gas piping. And if that was going to happen and was "normal", why was I not informed in advance of them doing the work? I'm wary of other quality issues I'm going to discover. And to think that I get this after having to deal with their pushiness for money! read more

Outstanding! Late at night we noticed water coming out of the ceiling fan in a living room on the first floor. Late at night and water in a location with electrical wires are not a good combination. Quickly searched for 24 hour plumbing company, and called Triple Crown Plumbing. Richard came really quickly in less than an hour. He was super professional, and knowledgeable. Richard rapidly assessed the situation, identified a root cause, and immediately got on addressing it. The charges were reasonable especially taking into consideration off hours call. Slow drains and slow flushing toilets in a old home are difficult to fix. I called Triple Crown on Thursday afternoon (11/15/18) and got a appointment for the next day. Richard Garcia and his Assitant arrived at my house and we discussed the problem and work began clearing line that had been in operation for many years and working on a slow flushing toilet. The work was successful and everything is operating properly. I am satisfied with the quality of work and the attitude of Richard, and his assistant. This company is a pleasure to deal with. It's a rainy, yucky Saturday. A recommended plumber didn't show yesterday and I need someone NOW. Fortunately, whether it was Karma or God, I ended up calling Triple Crown. I'm so glad I did. Jarod showed up early (called to be sure it would be okay).I couldn't have asked for someone to be nicer or more knowledgeable. He cleaned the lines out, but after closer examination, showed me that we had root rot underneath the house and worse our sewer lines were 'dragging dirt' problems from the original cast iron pipes. They came out today and helped us unclog the shower line. They were fast to get out and the guys were nice, informative, and quick. I will say though based on prices it is unlikely we will use again. $250 to snake a shower is crazy. Just ask for pricing quotes before they come out would be my recommendation. I haven't needed to use their services (thankfully) but did get the royal treatment when meeting them at Home Depot. I was there trying to build something for my team members at MedVet Dallas, a 24 hour Animal Hospital, and had no clue what parts I needed to be successful. I asked 2 men, Mario and Jared, in the plumbing section (couldn't find a Home Depot worker for the life of me) for some help and they not only came up with a better solution than what I planned, they found and grabbed all the parts off the shelf for me and explained how to do it!! We tried to change the outside water faucet and did not know that the original install was defective. The water to the house had been turned off from Sat morning to Sun morning. We called Triple Crown Plumbing and they not only returned our call (in 10 min) but came out on a Sunday morning (at the house 35 min later). Great service!!! Outrageous prices. I opened the main water too abruptly and the pressure broke a pipe outside my garage (slipped out of the coupling). They wanted $850 to fix it. I asked the guy to just cap it until I get different quotes. He asked for $300. I went to Home Depot and bought a cap for $.97 and did it myself in 5 min. I don't think they want to work, they just want to collect the $69 service fee. It feels like extortion. Learned a lesson. read more

Very unprofessional and dishonest. I got charged 325.00$ for unclogging and video inspect ( listed in my invoice). But when i asked for the result of camera service to know exactly situation of my pipe. They answered that it was ALL BLACK???. My house was 1983. However, as we can seen on HGTV, there was a lot of older houses but plumbers still possible to inspect the pipe through camera. They suggested me to replace my WHOLE drainage system with over 33.000$ service. I asked them that I need to know the exactly situation of my pipe before fixing or replacing anything, if it was broken, at least i need to know what part was damaged. They asked me have to set up another appointment to do the camera service AGAIN and have to pay additional 199.00$. I won't pay twice for the same service. I also afraid that i will get the same result for the camera service which is "All Black". This raised a question that did the plumbers really did what they charged me at the first time ( unclogging and service camera). Stay away from them. read more

Our drain from the AC goes into a sink drain. That sink drain had backed up. I took apart the P trap underneath the sink and realized that the problem was someplace much deeper. We were getting ready to catch a plane and didn't want to leave the house with a possible flood situation. This was all late on a Friday afternoon. Two guys from Triple Crown showed up fast and used their longest snake through an attic vent access. It took them about 90 minutes of solid hard work. There was nothing easy about this. They charged me $238. It was the best money I had spent in quite a while. We got out the door to the airport in time and knew the house was functional and would not flood while we were gone. read more

Best service hands down! My father was at my house due to myself and my husband being at work to get the gas turned on. The technician detected a leak in the house and my father was told to get a licensed plumber out to check the line. He called the first plumbing company that came out and took 4 hours to try to find the leak and couldn't. They capped off the fireplace since that is where the technician from the gas company said it was coming from. After about the 3rd hour, I was getting impatient and stressed after being told we would have to start knocking down walls or run a new line through the yard. So I took it upon myself to request a second set of eyes on the gas line in our home. I contacted Matt from Triple Crown Plumbing through email, thinking I wasn't going to get an answer until Monday, and I got a response immediately. The crew was able to come out within 30 minutes! They got to the house, starting putting pressure through the line, got into the attic and detected the leak within 25 minutes of being there! I spent 4 hours (if not more) with the 1st plumbing company that couldn't cut it when Triple Crown Plumbing got it done within an hour. That's 3 hours of my life I'll never get back and an entire weekend without hot water or the ability to cook. Thank you to Matt and team for the work you did! read more

Triple Crown was available relatively quickly to respond to a minor toilet leak issue in north Dallas. They said they could rebuild the toilet, but quoted me a price more expensive than a new toilet. I asked about installing a new toilet; they said I would have to get it and bring it back as they didn't provide that service. The quote for a new toilet install was $295.00. I headed for Home Depot, and they called to say the water turn off was not working properly and it would be an extra $125.00. They got the toilet installed, but after they left I noticed when they installed the water turn off they didn't put a flange onto the pipe to cover the interface where the pipe comes out of the wall. They just left the open hole with the pipe coming out. For $445 to drop the toilet on the hole and connect the water line, and leave the sloppy looking pipe hole, the price was extremely high. When I called them they tried to tell me that was normal. The service provided was not workmanlike. I do not recommend these plumbers. read more

Our toilets kept flooding and this was the second plumbing company we had come in to take a look. They were able to send someone on the same day. The technician was helpful and went above and beyond. He came back the next day and fixed our problem (with a much simpler solution than the first plumber who came and told us they'd need to tear out the toilets). Also very reasonably priced, as we called and got a quote for the same work from another plumbing company which quoted us double. read more

These people not only are CROOKS but also DISHONEST and you should never hire them but must spread the word around. The authorities should pull their license out. No one deserves the treatment we got. I hired them on 8/7/18 to fix a leak in the outer parameter of my house. They said they fixed it and within an hour it got busted again due to lack of glue in the appropriate area; however they had plenty of glue all over outside the same pipe that had the issue which they should have replaced (see pictures attached). Tried to talk to them and I was told there was no guaranty on their work whatsoever. I left messages for the owner and anyone I could talk to so maybe I'll have a resolution to my problem...NO ONE CARED TO CALL. This company took the check ($875.29) cashed it immediately and did not care to do anything to fix the issue. No invoice was written or provided for their work. We asked another company to fix the problem and this is what they wrote on their invoice and I quote "Replace fittings that were not glued properly at customers water shut off " Also gave us a one year guaranty on their work.
