I have an older home that seems to require more attention every year. Many times it has been a plumbing issue, and sadly I've always had bad luck with plumbers. NOT ANY MORE! Mother Modern Plumbing will be the only plumbing service that I'll ever call again. I had been dealing with a shower and washing machine drain stoppage for a while. All other drains were fine and nothing I tried was working to clear the blocked shower and washer drain. This experience with Mother Modern Plumbing was as perfect as it gets. The first thing I noticed when I called was a quality of true kindness.. Gabby took that call and she was great. Even with my complicated schedule this week (medical appointments) she managed to work me into their schedule. She was absolutely excellent. And each of their team members that I spoke with, also had that same quality of kindness. Just genuine NICE people. Willie came over to clear the drain problem and he's an awesome guy. He figured out immediately the best approach to get the clog out. And he showed me the images with a special camera down in the drain. He's by far the most considerate person I've ever had over here. My two dogs were especially bad and barked terrible at him.. and he remained calm, relaxed and pleasant. He even saved one of them out in the street because I had left the gate open. Not only are they great people at Mother's, but they charged less than any others that I checked. I checked a lot. The 1st plumbing company that I called required a fee just to come and look at the problem, for an estimate of what the actual job will cost.. their estimate fee was about the same as Mother's full fee was for doing the entire job, with no estimate fee charged. This company sent a leak detector to my home to find a leak and said it was a slab leak. I called another company to get a second opinion; I DON'T have a slab leak, it's a bad spicket. They wanted to charge me $6k for an issue I don't have. DO NOT RECOMMEND!! read more

Mauricio and Willy came out to replace old and clogged up condensation lines off my HVAC units. The lines which were tied in together needed to be split and tied to separate sinks downstairs. From start to finish as usual the service was excellent, the pricing fair and everything explained and checked out after the work was done. I had photos of all the issues that needed addressing. I was shown the pvc pipe after it was cut out, it was mostly clogged. I'm glad I finally addressed the issue and just did what was needed after leaks and having the units shutting off due to the backup. The maintenance that I need to do to cut down on organic matter was explained to me and they left product with me. I also had flex shaft cleaning done down the line and the before and after pictures show a dramatic difference. I highly recommend this company! read more

****Update***** The owner of the company called me a few minutes ago to have a conversation about my request and offered a free estimate for the work I'm requesting, and he provided his cell number if I should have any other concerns. I can't speak towards their level/quality of service, I called asking for a quote for a natural gas line installation and while I've received two free quotes from other companies, Mothers said it would be a $39 charge to send someone out to inspect the needs of the service and provide a quote. I canceled the request because there are too many companies that will offer a free estimate, I couldn't justify paying for one. I have never been asked to pay a trip charge to get an estimate for anything I've ever looked into doing by any company before, I was quite surprised when he said there would be one. read more

The technician called me in the 40 minute show up time and was able to talk me thru the simple troubleshooting in 5 minutes! At first, they were very considerate to my problems. Matt was very personable and made me feel like they had my best interests in mind. But then the sales guy comes. And give me 3 quotes. One $5,800 to replace the pipe with trenching. Two $5000 for trenchless replacement. Three for just repairing the pipe. After looking at it myself, it was just two loose fittings.
