Triple Elm is such a fantastic addition to the area! It's always busy, but orders move quickly and I've never had trouble finding a place to sit. We visit family twice a year for longer stays, and the very first thing my 5-year-old asks is to go to the "donut store." Beyond the delicious donuts--including classic old fashioned--they also have excellent breakfast sandwiches. Our favorite is the sausage, egg, and cheese on a croissant. The coffee is another highlight. They offer a solid specialty menu, and the Nutty Irishman is usually my go-to, but on this last trip I couldn't resist the eggnog latte. Definitely stop in or order ahead online. I just wish they'd been around when I lived in NH! read more

Super cute spot! My friend and I were on a day trip and stopped by Triple Elm on our way back to Boston. She wanted to grab a coffee and I got tempted by the goodies in the display case... I'm actually not usually much of a donut person, but I do love a good cakey donut! The staff members were really sweet and friendly. Honestly, I would not get it again, but opt for one of their espresso drinks or better yet, ice cream. They carry hand-packed pints, and if they don't have one pre-made, you can ask for a specific flavor. The girls who work behind the counter are great with customers. Stopped in today for ice cream. I noticed they had a little jar of crunch coat in a jar that showed off their toppings; I love crunch coat, so I asked them to top my soft serve with it. When it came out, what was on the ice cream wasn't what was in the jar. It was mostly the hard gross sugar sprinkles that seem to have taken over crunch coat now. I told them this wasn't the same stuff as was in the jar, and said this stuff was gross. They offered to remake it, and I said, "no need". I was disappointed, and lesson learned for next time. I left. My wife, however, had stayed behind with our kids to grab the rest of our ice cream, and heard one of the workers talking trash about me. She stuck up for me and let them know what the issue was, and one of the employees, grabbed the jar and took it out back. Won't be back! read more

I love this place! It's a small interior but you can bring your dog inside! They have homemade donuts and delicious breakfast sandwiches. I like their iced coffee a lot and they do have ice cream. Small coffee and ice cream shop that's set a little back from the main street of town. We specifically came in for some ice cream in the afternoon. There are so many flavors to choose from! We ended up ordering the Moose Tracks and Blueberry Pie in the kid-size. The flavors were okay and very sweet, so we didn't end up finishing either of our scoops. We took our orders to-go, but the cafe has some indoor and outdoor seating if you're planning to dine-in. Overall the service was alright. Another person in our group had some issues with their order but the server eventually got him the right ice cream. read more

Great little coffee place in town. Food is usually pretty good, coffee and tea is good. They can be slow, and sometimes the staff doesn't know what they are doing but Kudos to the owner for hiring high school kids they are always friendly and try their best. Visiting my brother for his Birthday weekend. They had brought some donuts that were absolutely delicious. So as we leave to head home let us pick up some to bring home, also let us grab grab 2 breakfast sandwiches and a side of bacon for my granddaughter. should have checked order before we left. No side of bacon, and no ham on my ham egg and cheese sandwich. Can't turn around now we will meet as the ferry. The food was very good but they need to train the staff better. read more

Always excited to stop and try a new to me coffee spot. Triple Elm had a great list of flavors, breakfast sandwiches and bakery items. I ordered a buttery toffee iced coffee and was told a man had paid ahead. Interesting! When I wanted to thank him though it appeared he was there to sell some sort of financial advise service or something so I said a quick thank you and that was it as I'm not sure that's a cool practice to allow in your coffee shop. Anyway, I also picked up a piece of banana bread. The coffee was pretty good - it tasted a lot like buttery popcorn and had a lot of syrup (perhaps too much) but I still enjoyed it. Why yes, I would probably try a buttery popcorn coffee flavor if I ever saw one. The banana bread was fantastic - nice and soft and full of flavor. I'd love to get a piece of that again! read more

Place is being run by a bunch of 16 year olds. 5 people working and it took 17 min to get a coffee. The child running the register had a half eaten bagel in one hand that she was eating and my coffee cup in the other. Absokutely disgusting. I ordered a muffin but threw it in the trash after seeing them left exposed and flies all over them. Only reason this place is still open is because it's the only option for miles besides Dunkin Donuts which is always super busy. read more

Stopped in for an ice cream. Paid $10 for a large and a small soft serve. The cones were the size of a very small kiddie come. Ripoff

went there for a muffin and a few egg sandwiches and ordered there. they care more about the online takeout orders than their own towns people going local for breakfast. we waited over an hour before leaving after not getting our food. I don't think I'm exaggerating when I say that this is one of the best coffee places I've been to in NH. Here's why: service is always fast and friendly. Clearly run by a tag team of young adults and they crush it. The espresso is top notch and they know how to pull a shot. Their lattes are delicious and don't taste like milk... they taste like lattes. As they should. The food is great for what it is. Fresh ingredients. Made quickly, yet the eggs, bagels, hash brown are not Dunkin Donuts low-grade, it's much better than that. Finally, and I'm dead serious, their Frappuccino is unreal. I've never been a fan of Frappes, they've never been particularly good. But I think b/c trip elm has their own ice cream too, they knock their Frappe out of the park. I first drove the extra 5 minutes a couple months ago to come here and I don't think I've missed a weekend since. Seriously, this place is a hidden gem if you haven't been there. read more

I was super excited for a new place in town. It is not really on my way in the morning, but i was willing to make the stop to support local business. i was very disappointed. The staff in the early morning, which I later found out was the manager was very unfriendly. place just was not welcoming at all. Coffee is okay, and sandwiches a step above dunkins. Sad to say I will go back to Dunkins for my morning as the staff there is much more welcoming and friendly. read more
