To begin I must say that I never write reviews like this but I feel I must. I've had work done on my car by them before and it came out wonderful so do not get me wrong my opinion of their work is actually a good one. Especially since I've known one their workers for quite some time. The issue I have is with their owner/manager, John. When meeting him for the first time a few years back I automatically had my guard up. He seems like he knows the industry extremely well and thrives on that as he is one of those fast talking, deceitful, scam artists types. A used car salesman would be putting it into perspective. Recently, I had my father bring my car there for a minor dent (keep in mind my dads English isn't the best but he understands it almost as much as the next guy). My father comes home and tells me the price. I thought it seemed a little high for a dent but didn't think much of it afterwards. Upon going there to pick my car up and pay (my father by my side) John tells me he wont accept my credit card because he agreed on CASH with my father (says they shook hands and everything). I immediately ask my father about this and his response is as clueless as mine and says he doesn't even remember shaking John's hand for Christ sake. I told John there was no way I could make a cash payment at the time to which he insisted over and over again. He tried convincing me by saying it was a great deal and it would come out more expensive as credit (He pushed it $200 above what was originally agreed on). Finally he accepts the card and tells me there would be sales tax and yet when I received the receipt the total was a dead even number. Makes no sense. And my buddy who works there even attempted to tell John that he doesn't remember a cash only plus hand shake with my father. John wasn't having it. In my opinion John made an attempted to con us by using my dad's language barrier. If you meet this guy after reading this you would have no doubt in your mind of that being the case. To recap, I'm not bashing their work, just the managing and the way my father and I were treated and talked to. I will never go there again for that reason and that reason only. Or one person I should say. Even if I'm wrong I don't believe a customer should ever even feel like he/she is being scammed. That right there is the warning sign. Lesson learned! read more

This place is absolutely amazing!!! I was in a crash and after leaving the hospital to check on my car at the shop, John, Russell, and Johnna swooped in like angels! They got me hooked up with a rental in literally 30 seconds, were in constant communication with me regarding the status of the work and the insurance claim, finished the work on my car so fast, and really went out on a limb for me when dealing with my insurance company to make sure I got the best of what I needed. They genuinely care for their customers, where some body shops, in my experience, treat you like an idiot. Not Ye Old Station!!! They are absolutely exceptional... I live an hour away and could have had the work done near my house, but I choose to leave my car with them because of how amazing they treated me. I would without a doubt recommend Ye Old Station to anyone from anywhere. For the quality of their work and level of customer care, they are bar none. Thank you Russ and John... I would recommend Ye Old Station Auto Body without hesitation! My car was recently sideswiped on the highway and these guys made a frustrating situation as painless as possible. They helped to coordinate the insurance adjuster for the person who hit me, arranged for the loaner vehicle and most importantly to me the car looks absolutely perfect again. There is NO sign of previous damage, or their repair. (no overspray, no tape lines) Additionally they completely detailed the car inside and out which admittedly I had been neglecting the interior this winter! Ye Old Station Auto Body is my go to car repair location they're always so friendly so helpful and go out of their way with customer service. I have never been to a place to get my car fixed as good as Ye old station. The staff is respectful, funny and go out of their way to make sure my repair needs are met. They fixed my car twice after two accidents and it came out perfect. They were quick with fixing my car and it looked brand new. and my car was detailed to perfection they helped me even rent a car through them which was easier than going through enterprise I will never go anywhere else. read more

My family has taken several of our cars to Ye Old Station over the years and their consistent, quality work has not wavered one...bit. I recently took my BMW there after getting hit by another vehicle and you would never know there was any damage. Looks better than the day i got it! The work was done quickly but you could tell it wasn't rushed and they have a lot of pride in what they do. Provided me with a nice rental car. Friendly staff and a clean shop. I stopped in without an appointment due to a loose body panel rubbing on my tire. Within 5 minutes they had the car in the shop, less than 10 minutes later the panel was aligned and reattached. Then to top it off, they refused to let me pay. Unbelievable in 2019 that this kind of care (for a non customer, first time there) exists. John and his team at Ye Old Station are amazing. My husband though he would have to total out his SUV after a near head on collision but thanks to John his car is as good as new. My husband is so impressed with the work they did and how quickly there were able to do the repair. He was also amazed that they detailed the interior of his car as a bonus. I brought my Class A RV to Russ and crew to fix a self-inflicted screw up to the front bumper. From the first time I called to inquire, to the moment I picked it up, nothing but true down to earth Pros!!! Extremely reasonable in pricing and certainly a quality Grade A repair! @Russ you guys even took out the screw on the head light assembly (inside joke, but shows attention to detail). 509 west main st. Cheshire I would highly recommend them. I purchased a Jeep Liberty from them and was a great deal. Don't go there expecting to haggle on the prices the vehicles as they are priced to move. They back their vehicles.
