This mocha. ... I don't drink mochas. But I drink *this* mocha. Ordered it on a whim 3 years ago as we were headed to central Oregon on vacation. Found this roadside stand on Yelp, ordered this life-changing mocha, and now it's a mandatory part of our annual trip to Sunriver. ... "What's so great about it?" you say. Let me try and explain. ... This mocha is... substantial. It has an intensity consummate with my personality. If this mocha were a human, it would be effusive: bubbling over with positivity, excitement, and praise for all that is good and right in the world. ... This mocha could be President. Or a Colombian drug kingpin. Either way, it would inspire the masses and confound the political elite with its decadence and generosity. "Sure," we would say, "it's ethically compromised. No one should possess that much rich chocolatey goodness, life-giving shots of caffeine, AND a lush whipped cream topping. Yet, even with its contradictions, somehow it brings out the best in us. It makes us realize that we all have immense, untapped potential, if we would only dig down deep for that extra little scoop of cocoa powder at the bottom of the tin." ... I imagine the recipe for this mocha is as follows: 1. Fill a 16 oz cup with 20 ounces of Ghirardelli cocoa powder (by volume). 2. Drizzle with one teaspoon of ice water on top, & refrigerate immediately. 3. Repeat step 2 once a day until the next El Niño cycle. 4. When ready to serve, pour two shots of rare Italian espresso over the top and let run down the sides of the cup. 5. Garnish with whipped 40% fatted cream from corn-fed cows. 6. Serve beverage. Enjoy several minutes of tear-filled expressions of gratitude. ... And I haven't even mentioned that this mocha can be found at the most nondescript roadside coffee stand, housed in the middle of a rural industrial park consisting of a scrap metal repository, auto repair shop, and a refurbisher of used farm equipment. Right across the highway from the state prison. ... This is only half the tribute this place deserves. But we're almost to our destination and @krsmith23 is tired of driving in silence. Keep being you, Tripp Dog. Can't wait 'til next year!

Blueberry muffin and (non biter) Americano with Almond Milk! She warmed the scene too!

Came in at just the right time! We were a group of 5 who ordered coffee and breakfast. Once we sat…read moredown tons of people came flooding in afterwards which we took as a good sign. You order at the counter and then you get a number to take with you and place at whichever seat you choose. Drinks and food both came out really quick. I tried the bees knees which had honey, lavender, rosemary and simple syrup with a dash of black pepper. I did not see nor taste the black pepper but I was a huge fan of this drink. It wasn't overpowering in any of the flavors and the rosemary sprig made it look so cute. I got the breakfast potato hash with no tomatoes and it was a delicious and filling breakfast. The potatoes were so good my group wouldn't stop helping themselves to them. I added some hot sauce as it was in the dryer side but still really good. I also tried the matcha coconut scone. It had a pretty matcha green color but it was hard to taste the matcha or coconut and it was quite dry. Service was quick and friendly. The inside is really beautiful and we couldn't help but do a little photoshoot, so many fun backgrounds! Things to note: Restroom shared with other businesses close by businesses and metered street parking only.

Food service can be rough, but when there's no one in line not giving someone at least 30 seconds to check out the menu is really frustrating. The coffee was pretty good, definitely worth going out for. I also really liked the peanut butter and jelly chia pudding. It was really filling and a perfect portion of protein/natural sugars before my workout. The seating area had a nice warmth to it on a sunny afternoon. The outdoor seating looked welcoming too.
