While I was there the member performing my services (eyebrows and lip) showed me how they looked and I was very pleased. She cleaned up my eyebrows very nicely but didn't shape them very much, which didn't bother me as I was just looking for them to be straightened out. --Side note: the wax they use was very gentle, no paper glued to your face, just pulling off hot wax which was a very nice change.-- My only complaint comes now that I took a better look at home. My eyebrows are definitely cleaned up but they are some stragglers that I'll have to pluck, and although the wax was gentle it didn't seem to really pull all the hairs completely, I can tell I'll need a wax again very soon unfortunately. Overall I would recommend this place if you're in a time pinch like I was. The experience was pretty good and the service was speedy and professional. **I would've liked to give 3.5 stars but Yelp doesn't allow it, but they definitely deserve more of a 4 than a 3**

I understand that training services aren't just that, but there's also a certain expectation of quality. I had a Brazilian that left a lot of hair behind and the waxer pinched me a number of times trying to get the wax strips off. As I was under a time constraint and had planned for a 15 minute service, I had to stop her after 30 minutes and leave without a complete wax. I suffer from dry flaking skin on my face and use medication to help control it. After our facials my face showed no signs of dryness or flaking. I echo everything in Susan's review: Kat is a perfectionist, professional, efficient and SO much fun. Since moving back to NY and trying a few places around CP, I tried Kat in June. I haven't missed an appointment since, and wouldn't go anywhere else! She uses hard and soft wax, will talk you through exactly what you want and makes the whole experience 10/10!!

Katerina is hilarious, terrifying, gorgeous, and welcoming, all at once. This woman understands…read morethat making a customer feel comfortable is absolutely necessary before ripping out all the hair in their ladybits. And Kat doesn't let you *not* feel comfortable. You WILL laugh and joke and chat and feel like you made a friend, and leave her business sort of stunned that you got all that plus a fantastic wax. You don't have a choice. Because Kat is THROUGH. I have never had a wax this smooth or this complete. She even denuded my lower belly ("this happy trail is not so happy") and parts of my upper thighs I'm too lazy to always shave ("it's messing up my masterpiece"). She used three different kinds of wax and was intensely efficient without ever making me feel rushed. She also didn't make me feel like a fat glob of rolling and undulating lard deposits, as is so often the case for big girls when we get waxed. She asked me to hold some of my skin tight, but I never felt grotesque or like I didn't belong there. I also had much less irritation than I've had with other wax experiences, and I really like that she didn't tell me to come back in four weeks. Six to eight. That seems so much more rational, manageable. Very refreshing. Bottom line: go see Kat. Your confidence will skyrocket ... but it might be difficult to resist the urge to show everyone how dang smooth you are down there.
