I've been hearing a lot of great things about this place, so I decided to try it while I was in the upstate visiting family. Every good thing that was stated is true. This place is awesome delicious, has extremely generous portions, & is very fair priced. My sister & I each got an El Obelisco Pepito, which is an open face French baguette piled up with grilled steak, grilled chicken, cheese, & bacon. It also includes perfectly seasoned fries. Sister also ordered Southern Desgranados, which is seasoned, grilled sweet corn with Parmesan cheese & is served in a pretty sizable cup. Neither of us were expecting such large portions & were only able to eat 1/2 the pepito & she only took a couple of bites of the Desgranados. But we're both very pleased to have a whole extra meal for tomorrow. This is a new business that is in an old Bantam Chef location. Judging by the amount of business we saw while we were there, these folks will soon outgrow this location. Despite being so busy & cooking each order up fresh, they got our food out pretty quickly. And those sauces!! They have a variety of sauces available to add to any sandwich or as a dip for fries. The sauces are made up there with fresh ingredients. The garlic sauce & the bacon sauce were definitely our favorites. There is no doubt that I will definitely be returning to this place. read more

I tried this place for the first time 3 days ago. It's in a small store that used to be a Bantam Chef, I think..?? I was like Meh, whatever. Until I got my food. OMG, do yourself, and your mouth, a favor and visit this place. I ordered an El Oblisco Pepito. Chopped chicken & beef with cheese and bacon on a baguette. It was double the size I expected, brought half of it home with me, and had more fries than I could eat. They also have homemade sauces--try the garlic sauce on your fries. The staff is friendly and I had a conversation with the owner, who was very nice and pleased that we were so happy with our meal. He's planning on moving to the restaurant site they're building at the old silos in Easley. I wish only the best for him and his business but I think he'll grow just fine. read more

We are new to the Easley area and decided to try TB after a recommendation from a coworker. It did not disappoint to say the least! On top of the attractive ambiance, the staff was very energetic, friendly and helpful. The food was DELICIOUS! We love a good burger and rated it top 5 burgers we have ever had. My fiancé tried the crunchy cheese burger and I had the tropical pepito, as well as the onion rings and teqeños. On top of the perfectly executed flavors in the food, the sweet corn, garlic and chipotle sauces are a wonderful touch. We will be back very soon to indulge again! read more

When they first opened, the Food was really fantastic and delicious! The last 2 times was not.The owner isn't around much anymore and it seems as though it has just become a hangout for friends of the staff. The Food is either overcooked, ingredients missing, or just plain tasteless. There is another Tropical Burger at 5151 Pelham Rd in Greenville, that has opened up. We haven't been there yet, but their online menus has more items, than the one in Easley. I guess the original one has gone by the wayside. So sad. We won't be going back again. I had lunch today Called Tropical Burger .The Burger was excellent And the toasted bun was amazing . My onionrings were hot and crisp. the owner was friendly greeted me with a smile thanked me for coming in. I enjoyed my meal there very hip inside. They just opened a new location in Greer and we stopped by last to give them a try and I'm glad we did. I was very impressed by my meal. I ordered the Breakfast Burger (a burger with a egg on top) it was cooked to perfection with just a slight hint of pink in the middle. Talk about juice almost running down my arm. I had to use several napkins. I'll definitely be headed back to the location for my next burger fix. Well done Tropical Burger, keep up the good work. We have been looking for a place to get a good burger. Tropical burger exceeded all expectations! Now our favorite restaurant in Easley/Pickens/Greenville area by far. I ended up choosing the Big Mama which had a burger patty, a chicken patty, fried cheese, onion ring, BBQ sauce, on a brioche bun. The burger patty had a great char taste but wasn't over powering and the chicken patty was thick and juicy. My boyfriend got the 4Q pepito which was amazing as well. We had to get a side of the 'El Gringo' sweet corn with loads of amazing cheese, reminiscent of Mac and cheese but corn and it was to die for. I could honestly have just this for dinner. I probably would add the Tequeños which we had as well. Sweet morsels of cheese and dough that go well with all of their homemade sauces. On top of the amazing food the service was top notch! These people really care about you and their passion for what they do and it shines through in their food and service. We will definitely be back and we highly recommend this place to everyone! read more

We went to tropical Burger today for the first time . I ordered the old fashioned chicken sandwich and my wife ordered the 4q pepito. The chicken on my chicken sandwich was so thin I thought it was bologna. It looks nothing like what they show in the pictures. It comes with their house sauce. Which is just some ketchup and some mayonnaise put on the bun. They told my wife that's what their house sauce is. My wife's Pepito was chicken and steak, mostly grilled chicken. It was so dry and small. It didn't look anything like the picture either. My wife went to return my chicken sandwich and they wanted to fight with her . They said that their chicken patties are all that small . Again nothing like the picture . They gave her a refund for the chicken sandwich that we did not eat but they gave us a hard time about it. Terrible customer service we will not be back . We do not recommend this place at all. read more

Not only are they super nice and welcoming, the food is the best I've had in SC, seriously. We've had the 4q pepito, tropical pepito, the sugar daddy burger, the breakfast burger, the Mexican burger, the gringo corn, pequeños, and the big mama burger. If you are looking for the best burger around get the big mama! Or any of the other menu items because it is all bomb.
