This was soo delicious. I definitely want to go back and try the other flavor of fries. I ordered the Honey Garlic Steak & Shrimp fries and the Hello flavored wings. The wing flavor reminded me of a sweet Heinz 57 sauce which was really good. The fries were delicious. The service was good and the food was fresh.

    HIBACHI TRIO

Place is absolutely horrible, I got the hibachi trio which was $30. The steak and chicken were super hard and burnt. The shrimp smells and tastes like it's expired. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY

$60 for 1 reg & 1 jr fry with 2 waters is ABSURD...not to mention when the food comes out in 5 mins (surely doesn't scream I've been sitting out all day or I'm frozen)...my stomach hurts just from the smell of the lemon crab and shrimp...parking lot always being empty does this place justice...sorry not sorry, honesty is key especially to food

I was so excited to hear that Mr. Fries Man was opening in Greenville, South Carolina! Upon entering the establishment, the staff was very friendly, welcoming and everything was clean. They also have a drive through if you're on-the-go. We asked for favorite recommendations from the staff and they suggested the Honey Garlic Shrimp & Steak and the Lemon Garlic Crab & Shrimp. We also ordered the Lemon Cajun and Buffalo Lemon Peppa wings with the Jalapeño ranch dipping sauce. Let me tell you, the food did not disappoint! Everything is cooked to order, so the food came out hot and fresh. The premium toppings and AMOUNT of food you receive were well worth the price. I was happy to hear that this location is minority owned and will be back! It was a great experience.

Decent place, came on Sat. About 3pm, waited about 15 min. for my order. It came out very fresh and delicious. You get 4 medium/large size shrimp and a Decent scoop of crab meat. Lemon garlic sauce was very good, could taste the lemon and garlic flavor so was a nice balance. Also no soggy fries all crunchy. Price tag is $23 plus tax makes for about $25. I added a $4 tip so almost $30... on the pricey side in my opinion. But it is delicious. I believe other menu options are cheaper so I am going to try another option next visit. They have 2 entrances, with the doors constantly opening and kitchen heat coming through it is a warm atmosphere, at least here in Aug. Will be back

Friendly employees. Clean dining area. Fries were good. "Grilled Chicken" looked and tasted like it was sitting in a warming dish somewhere. Not nearly enough cheese to have with anything except the top layer. The prices are outrageous. Should have a loaded down plate of fries for what they're charging.

We went to this restaurant for the first time and have some pros and some cons. All the food is made to order and we can in behind a very large group so our food took a WHILE to come out, and the restaurant was pretty warm. They also were constantly cleaning tables and restrooms, which would've been nice if it wasn't for the extremely strong smell of the solution they used. I ordered the Lemon Crab & Shrimp fries and they were delicious. I wish the crab was seasoned better and that some of the meat was put on the bottom to make the meal more balanced. I also wish the shrimp was blackened! Otherwise, VERY tasty. On the other hand, my boyfriend ordered the Chicken Bacon Parmesan. The bacon was not warm or fresh and the chicken tasted like frozen food as well. As someone who has food sensitivities, the menu says there is Parmesan cheese but doesn't mention that there is ALSO nacho cheese on this order, so that is very confusing. Overall, the food is too expensive for the quality of food we received. Both of our meals plus one small fountain drink totaled to about $55. If the meals were better executed (and if they had Coke products), it would've been more worth the price.

Pretty good food. On the expensive side, but I did get seafood and steak. Quality was great, food was hot and cooked fresh to order. We waited about 10 minutes for our order at the window. Will definitely be back.

This place is the bomb.com! Went there with my girl and we were totally blown away that a place like this exists. If you have a gluten sensitivity or straight up celiac like my girl does this is the spot for you. We shared an order of the BBQ and ranch bacon fries with grilled chicken. 100% will be back again. The ownership is incredibly friendly and it is something really cool when the owner stops by your table to ask if everything came out alright. Keep it up Greenville Mr. Fries! You're the real MVP

The food was awesome. The service was impeccable and everyone was nice and personable. The ambiance and decor is very cute, I can appreciate the colors and liveliness of the place. The wings were crispy and seasoned well and the fries were so hot and fresh. The proteins on the fries were so good and tender. My wings came if jalapeño ranch and it was the best sauce I've ever had. 10/10 would recommend. The owner is very nice and stands on business I love that about her. Proud of you Sheena :)

Chili cheese, bbq chicken ranch and Parmesan chicken fries.

This was place was pretty good. If you like fried foods this is your place. Staff was very nice and friendly. The fries were pretty good. My favorite was the bbq bacon ranch. We also tried chili cheese fries and chicken Parmesan fries. The chicken Parmesan was very garlicky. Overall the place is somewhere I would recommend to eat.

The bun was soft and warm, holding everything together nicely without getting soggy. One of the standouts was the Spicy Ketchup--a must-try! It has just the right amount of kick thanks to the jalapeño, and it took the flavor of the burger up a notch. Definitely a unique and welcome twist compared to standard fast food sauces. Service was fast and friendly, and the restaurant was clean with plenty of seating. Only reason for not giving a full five stars is that the presentation was a little basic and the burger could've used just a touch more seasoning on the patty itself. Overall, a solid experience and definitely worth a stop if you're craving a classic fast food burger done right

I moved to Pensacola, Florida in 1985 and experienced my first Whataburger there on East Gregory…read moreStreet. Which was wonderful, because it was open 24 hours and was right near my favorite bar. Plus I was young. It was there that I experienced the Breakfast Taquito, which was introduced by the chain in 1983. Having moved to Dallas, TX in spring of 1986, I lived one exit up from a Whataburger, which also was convenient. So, the imprint in my head about the Whataburger flavors was pretty ingrained by the time I moved back to the east coast in 1988. Until Whataburger opened here. I have been for lunch a few times, but not for breakfast. And although this WB is very near to my favorite bar, I have given up howling at the moon and late, late night meals. Last week, I had lunch at a different Whataburger in Mauldin and was given a coupon for a free Taquito at any participating WB. But it expired within less than a week. Nevertheless, the seed was planted. I arrived at this WB and decided to order inside for carry out. At 7:56 AM on a Tuesday, I ordered 4 sausage Taquito's to go. There was not another customer in the restaurant nor in the drive through lane, so that was kind of interestingly dead. After placing my order, the two counter staff both disappeared into the kitchen and another customer did walk in, placing an order at the kiosk. What I found interesting was that she came in, was seen as the staff went to the back, but she went into the restroom. They departed the counter. She orders from the kiosk and goes to sit down. Zero interaction happened after that. I received my 4 Taquitos at 8:06 AM with this message: "Sorry for the wait, we like to make these fresh." I'm not sure when this other customer would be acknowledged because I left for work. I say this to point out how impersonable the experience was, especially in comparison to the Chick-Fil-A experience across the street. There, you are greeted multiple times and I believe the food is also made fresh, but it is lickety-split to get in and out of there, including the double drive through lanes. The food - so my benchmark was a fond memory of the sausage and cheese, tender goodness. The size of the Taquito is a bit larger than the McDonald's, but it is $3.69 per vs the McDonald's 2 for $3.00 "sausage burrito." The WB Taquito had a grilled flour tortilla that held a little bit of toasted texture and butter flavor. The filling was not quite as full as I expected, but the most noticeable difference to my memory and expectation was that the sausage was bland instead or savory and slightly hot as I remembered. Thinking that I might have distorted my memory, I looked it up on the internet to see had anyone else noticed a change in flavor over time. Recipes change. Ingredients change. In this case, many agree with me that the sausage has changed from a more round shape and savory to a more square shape and bland. Also, there was less cheese than memory served, where previously there was a savory, gooey umami combination of the former sausage and cheese but now the buttery tortilla was the dominant flavor instead of just being the carrier. I think of the Taquito as a portable breakfast. It is a convenient way to bring a sausage, cheese and scrambled egg breakfast into the car and especially easy to eat while driving. The key to a good breakfast taco is in the balance of the interior filling with the stability of the exterior tortilla. This was balanced toward the tortilla. Knowing WB, though, I bet you can get a double filled Taquito, which might be too much. Or get a plussed up version with a little extra for a charge. Maybe it is that Mandela Effect and my memory is faulty. Or maybe it is related to my hungry memory also mostly involved a good bit of beer drinking and that is behind me these days. Or, maybe they did mess with the sausage and the amount of filling to cut some costs over the years? It was just okay. I bought four, one for myself, three for my coworker children. Total wait time 10 minutes. Total tab $15.94. I'm probably not swinging out of my way to get here for a Taquito, but if convenient, may hit up WB breakfast another time.

A four star with grace, rather than a three star. I was…read moresurprised to walk into this seemingly "fast food" restaurant to see a sign that said, "please wait to be seated." Wow! Not even ordering at the counter and getting a number, but a legit throwback to the old timey diner approach where the order is taken at the table. Which is great except it took five minutes from our entry in the restaurant to taking our order (or any attention). But there was the floor manager and one person waitstaff and in my opinion, the waitress was hustling and her "boss lady" was not, but the boss lady was delivering the food orders. We were concerned about the wait time since there were four or so tables that came in around the same time and the staff sort of acted surprised that lunch hour was upon them. At any rate, we did order 5 minutes post arrival and drinks came 6 minutes after ordering them and another 9 minutes the food arrived. For those of you keeping score at home, it was 20 minutes from arrival at the restaurant to arrival of the food, or 6 minutes from ordering until food was served. Which is pretty good. I noted all of this since it was a sit down and order process and I was curious how the timing would stack up on that. Under the short staffed circumstances, I was impressed. Which is why I went the extra star instead of dinging them on the initial time thing, but I will say that at first we considered bolting for another restaurant because we didn't know how much longer this was going to take. Good recovery, though! The restaurant was playing low volume country music and they have really good brewed iced tea. We were done all total and comfortably within 36 minutes and that is important for the lunch hour crowd. Even served a "to go" iced tea. "When in Rome....", so of course, my order was the signature "Steakburger, Original Double with Cheese." This features two thinly smashed steak patties, American cheese, pickle slices, onion, ketchup, and mustard on a toasted bun. Maybe they invented the smash burger, it certainly tastes like that, man is that a good burger! The meat is smashed on the grill to give a lacy, crunchy edge to the patty for what they call a "signature texture", and now I call it that too. It is made from freshly ground, higher end cuts of beef, hence the "steak" part of the "steakburger." The fries were as advertised, shoe-string, with slight crunch exterior, soft interior and cooked in 100% beef tallow. Very good, but they are all random sized, so eating them in bunches is more challenging. I was pleasantly surprised with the food and speed and can see this being a regular burger joint for us.
