Meh, not sure if I would order from Tropical Juice Bar again in the future. My usual juice spot was closed so I decided to order from here via DoorDash, and it was delivered on time. However, when my juices arrived they weren't cold at all, and the Super Green Juice had a grainy consistency, almost as if it hadn't been properly blended. I could barely finish it! However, the Ginger Detox juice was a little better. I put it in the fridge to drink the next day, and thankfully it tasted fine. Still not sure I'd go out of my way to order from here again, though. read more

This was my first time in the Union City location since the West New York location doesn't make food any more and i was super disappointed with my ordered. I called for a chicken Chimi for pick up (a chimi is a Dominican sandwich). I picked it up and was there in 10 minutes. I also ordered a beef empanada. The beef empanada was delicious and well seasoned. However, when i got home and opened my chimi to eat it, to my surprise the sandwich wasn't even made correctly, when i opened the box, it was a mess and everything was all over the place. Post gym on a hot summer evening I was really craving a nice refreshing smoothie. I decided to venture to Tropical Juice Bar and I loved it. The smoothie was divine as it had a variety of fresh fruits and oatmeal. The fresh juice did not disappoint either; definitely a well needed detox. The healthy kick needed a side of empanadas so we gave the cheese empanadas a try and boy we are glad we did. Frankly I've had a hard time finding the perfect empanada but these were so delicious. This place is great for a quick bite! Cute little spot, friendly staff, lots of options on the menu. I got the chicken patacon and it was absolutely delicious! If you've never had one, I would definitely recommend it; you won't be disappointed. They don't offer vegetarian options, however they were very happy to customize an order for my brother, which is greatly appreciated! I also got their lime juice and it tasted super natural! Already I have came to New Jersey visiting family three times since the summer of last year. This place was really good they always got our orders right the food was hot and fresh. I don't know what has happened since the last 7 1/2 months but this place has gone downhill and I'm very upset. They never ask us to compensate us when they get our orders wrong. There was even one time that the order was wrong we brought it back and we brought the order home the second one and it was still wrong. I am very upset the manager needs to take this into accountability. They have got our orders wrong 5 to 6 times we've tried to give them a chance over and over and over again. We have to walk a distance so when they get the orders wrong it is a pain that we have to walk all the way back. Or we have to call them which they don't offer anything. This business is a disgrace. The owner and the manager needs to step it up. Being that I first gave them a really good review I was excited and thought they were amazing during the summer of July 2020. But since then in September January and February it seems they have gotten worse and worse. This business needs to start taking care of its customers. read more

My first time here was amazing, excited to visit more often. Ordered my regular chicken Cesar salad, easy item, their dressing is a bit unique and why I used to order often. Love their late hours, I always wanted little tasty spots like this open late more. So I ordered it one day, the chicken was mildly undercooked twice. Difficult to chew unlike fully cooked juicy chicken. I thought ok I hit em on bad days, I am pretty forgiving, I love food. That place made me happy in general. Their shakes/smoothies are great, too! What sealed the deal for me on not returning as often as I used to last year was when I ordered in store the same salad (yup I love that shite), I was given literally only lettuce and chicken. I never aspire to be one of those rude "please take my dish back and where's my refund/coupons!" patrons but I felt so embarrassed to even ask where the remainder ingredients went. They didn't find it was surprising at all. Ok cool. But They only added croutons... I order this all time and it normally also includes cheese, dressing, and parm cheese. It really isn't a big deal but combined with the undercooked times, I don't bother going in anymore. Sorry yall! I really loved you! Please do better read more

I took one sip of the worst guanabana shake I have ever tasted. almost $6 for this horrible tasting shake. I think it had too much milk no sugar and the guananbana was old. I've been here twice and I say it's gotten a lot better since my first time. The first time the food seemed a little greasy and wasn't flavorful but the second time everything was great. I've tried in the past but the employees seem they aren't trained to work with people with allergies or dietary issues which now becomes a burden when trying to order a meal without meat and now it becomes a burden because they aren't sure how to create or accommodate to me with very little options.
