Don't want to salem short because they're amazing

My Yelp fans trust me, I can't FAIL EM Got to find hidden gems and then HAIL EM To cure my fans of all that might AIL EM And one of these gems is called SALEM NJ has some cliffs, so just SCALE EM If someone's driving this way, TAIL EM If your Dad gets shot in the tum, GRAIL HIM And then bring him some pastries from SALEM If you leave them out for 3 days, you STALE EM If you blend them with veggies, you KALE EM If you chainsaw them in half, you CHRISTIAN BALE EM But instead just come get them at SALEM WHAT My notes said - some really yum croissants, can see why popular, cheap and middle of night, excellent really, custard tart justok This place is wonderful beyond a shadow of a doubt, particularly because it's open 24 hours, and so few things are - especially cool family places like this. Their products are excellent, and I would give somewhere between a 3 and a 5 depending on which product I was reviewing. Overall they would score a four, or possibly five if I just stick to reviewing my favourite items, but I would bump it up anyway because of the 24-hour thing which is really really awesome. Prices aren't too bad (somewhere in the middle), and I'm not a fan of the custard tart, but the Croissants in particular are uncredible. The custard tarts are not to be confused with escorts being held at police stations - those are custody tarts. But don't ever mess with angry Texas fire ants. Because those are some cross ants.

The cheapest Bakery you'll find and you pay what you get for and a tiny bit more. I like their beef empanadas and also they're cheap chocolate cookies that is all I get from there and they also have coffee and the best part is they have a parking lot. Good for pickup. No place to eat.

I learned about this bakery from NYC halal eats restaurant in Michigan. I wanted to visit and see what they provide. They are Kosher/ halal bakery and are open 24/7! I love the smell of fresh bread from the store and quality of the bread is pretty good. I will visit again for halal Colombian treats. The prices are very reasonable and you can go anytime :)

The treats and prices were great but the beef empanadas had barely any meat. I was very disappointed for almost 2 dollars each. We got 4 and all of them were basically hollow inside.

A bakery that's open 24/7 that sells fresh bread, pastries, and empanadas along with every day staples like eggs and milk? Yes please! I only discovered this bakery within the past years or so, and this place is a dream come true. I love their donuts, which are almost as big as my face. They also have a really nice flaky croissant, but I prefer their whole wheat croissant which is just as flaky but has a really nice crunchy topping with seeds. They sell palmiers (elephant ears), gigantic turnovers (love the guava with cheese and apple), and some sort of flaky sugary pastry twist drizzled with chocolate. Yum! I recently got two pieces of their coffee cake - one chocolate and one plain - in observance of National Coffee Cake day. They were delicious. Funny enough, the chocolate tasted just like the plain. Most of their pastries are $1-$1.50 each. The bread is awesomely fresh! And, you'll want to eat it within the first 24 hours. Otherwise, it will start to get hard. My favorite are the Portuguese rolls - 3 for $1. They're perfect for making a pretty generous-sized sandwich! The employees pull them straight off their baking trays and into a brown bag for you. Near the register, they have a display of empanadas and beef patties. They're delicious and only about a buck or two at most. This bakery is crazy cheap and everything is fresh out of the oven! While you're there, you can buy milk, eggs, and drinks. The only parking they have is residential street parking but many people double park, grab what they need and move along within 5-10 minutes. This what I always do and you certainly won't be alone with your hazards on. This place is an absolute deal!

The ladies working here were so kind and gracious about it, explaining how to order the cinnamon donuts in advance and they freeze well if you order a large quantity, so I purchased an apple cinnamon caramel scone instead. I ate it the next day and it was very good. I appreciated that it was a scone and not too sweet. There are chunks of apple in there with a definitive cinnamon presence. The caramel is drizzled over the top. It would go well with coffee or tea, particularly chai. There are other offerings here and if you see the cinnamon donuts, do not pass them up. 3.5 stars, but I am certain that could be revised upwards if I sample more of their baked goods.

I'm not gluten free but love any and all sweets. And I have so many GF people in my life. We were all patiently awaiting their grand opening and let me tell you: it was worth the wait. I stopped in shortly before they closed to pick up a box of cookies to bring to said gluten free friends. I got a mix of the sugar cookies, chocolate chip and sea salt caramels. All are incredible and none give the slightest hint that they are made to be GF. Crazy moist (Oy, sorry if you hate that word, but they were MOIST), soft and flavorful. The sugar cookie stole the show for me but I don't think you'll find a cookie you don't like. They had so many lots of vegan options as well if that's something you're on the hunt for. I can't wait to stop in again and try more of their cakes and sweet treats. Happy to have you in Mile Square!

I got the original cinnamon roll and the April special, which was carrot cake. Also got a strawberry shortcake matcha. The rolls are big! Worth the price and wait in my opinion. I preferred the original over the carrot cake. The carrot cake roll had some big pieces of carrot lol a bit unexpected because I assumed the carrots would be a bit more finely grated. but not bad! the carrot taste is just a lot more prominent. strawberry shortcake matcha was good, but I think the cinnamon rolls are the real star here. There's a good amount of seating. Staff is very kind. Def want to come back to try the other special cinnamon roll flavors in the coming months!

We also got just plain oatmilk latte and brewed coffee as well as some cookies (smores, confetti) and all were pretty good! not to mention the latte arts were perfect and service was friendly! Loved that they have a separate space for little kids to play (which you pay $7 for). Im sure the parents appreciate this - having a place for coffee while also letting smaller kids enjoy. They have babycinno too! Parking can be hard as its street parking only but there are some garages available if you dont mind walking a bit. Would love to return someday for a sit-down experience.

I've never eaten anything that I didn't like. My faves are: milhojas, breakfast croissant sandwich, and any and every cake with dulce de leche filling. So get anything fresh, like made to order cakes or things you see come out right when you're there. Otherwise you run the risk of getting old stuff, which sucks that they don't manage that at all. On a Sunday afternoon lines moved quickly and we were able to find seats. This is a cute cafe that offers plenty of savory items and lunches, plus drinks like matcha, cakes, pastries and cookies. There is also a bathroom! The women behind the counter were all nice and patient with my questions, they also kept the line moving and were quick. I had high hopes for the Alfajores as this is an Argentinian bakery but unfortunately the ones given to me were stale. The cookie was very hard. Also the Dulce de leche was too sweet and burnt tasting to me. I also got a chocolate covered one and the cookie in that was also hard and dry. The strawberry croissant was amazing. Never had anything like that before. Not too sweet and very flaky. It has a ribbon of red on the outside which gives it a unique look. I would love to come back and try savory items. I'll continue to stick with the cakes and croissants for desert and make sure it's fresh!

Place is a hole in the wall to the point that I walked right past it. Lone server inside was very friendly. Definitely a 'get your shit and go' kind of place, but what do you expect with Hoboken real estate. Got a red eye over ice, which was slightly burnt but still good. For food I tried the La Rustica sandwich, which has proscuitto, stracchino cheese and truffle cream on homemade bread. The bread was great and I could've had just that. Decent amount of proscuitto however the price ($16) justified that. Cheese didn't do much for the sandwich, as it was outmuscled by the proscuitto and just added a touch of cream. Truffle was similarly lost. All in all could do better, could do worse. Donut bites, on the other hand, were freaking money. Got 3 of the ones with custard and should've gotten a dozen. That made the place itself. Lots of other interesting things here worth trying. Wish I could a sandwich with mozzarella as there were plenty of others that looked good too. Definitely would give this another shot, as there's some good stuff here!
