But, I will say that management contacted me upon posting a negative review and were serious about trying to make up for it. They also explained that this nursery is mostly set up for plant sales to landscapers and professionals, even though they do allow sales to individuals at retail prices. This explained the lack of prices and sometimes labels on their plants. I will say that I went to The Ground Up at their Brittmoore Rd location and had a an excellent experience.

Michael and Bo were SO HELPFUL and FRIENDLY and answered all my questions. We got the "normal" Raleigh St. Augustine since our yard will have plenty of sun. The Cobalt variety was intriguing BUT it wasn't going to be available until at least July so we just went with "old reliable" Raleigh. 2 pallets of grass was needed to complete our project. Each pallet was around $200, perhaps a little more than other companies but the quality is top notch. Our yard turned out FANTASTIC and we have been getting so many compliments from the neighbors. For the next three weeks, I called every week to ask when it'd be ready, and every time I was told "next week." After five weeks I got sick of this and finally went back into the store in person. I was tired of being strung along every time I called over the phone, and I wanted a straight answer. Turns out, they hadn't done a single minute of work on my machine. They repeatedly lied to me over the phone, saying it was "almost ready" or would be ready "early next week." Totally dishonest. So I asked for my deposit back, and the initial response I got was, "that might not be possible." I was forced to get slightly rude and demand my money and my machine back from these liars.

My former neighbor used them and they either did not show up for his scheduled maintenance or failed to do proper maintenance (even though they were informed ahead of time of the issues). Bamboo is growing through, not just over, adjoining fences into neighboring yards and damaging property. CASH ONLY This place…read moreis amazing. I've been dabbling in Orchids for about 2 years and never knew about this place. I've check local grocery stores and the occasional Lowe's for orchids, but a couple days ago my wife suggested I find a nursery. I'd never thought there'd be such a specialized place. Well there is and this is that place. It's a little hard to find, but GPS got me there. It's at the dead end of the street and if I hadn't noticed the sign on the fence I would have left disappointed. I had seen some reviews where people commented that they weren't sure they were in the right place, so kinda knew it was a little confusing. It's actually hot houses next to a house. Everything is pretty nondescript. I parked, opened the hot house door and went inside. I was greeted by a couple cats (also had heads up from other posts, and they just laid on the chair and looked at me - it was 104 degrees). Anyway I started looking for someone after realizing the first room was empty. I walked into the second room and was amazed by all the blooming orchids on display. I found an elderly man who helped me. As I understand it, the orchids in bloom are on rolling shelves so there's some maneuvering to see things up close, but the gentleman handled all that. When I was there the front of the rolling shelves held orchids for sale, further back on each shelf were orders that were waiting pickup/delivery (assuming?) I found the perfect orchid for me and was stunned that it was only $23. They only take cash (I think someone posted and Zelle, but I never got that far). I was so happy with the place that I offered the man $30 (keep the change you filthy animal - sorry, Home Alone reference just popped in there) which he politely refused. In the end I got the best new addition to my collection at an extremely reasonable price and left very happy. I'll be back - Terminator Hope you find this helpful
