I tried to download the app and use an invite code but it didn't work :( no free smoothie for me and my friend. I got a small açaí bowl with nutella. It melted kinda fast or I'm just a slow eater. It had some coconut flakes and nutella for nice texture. There was a bit of fruit but overall tasted great as a classic combo. I almost always order online because my order is made fresh and is waiting for me when I arrive. I've never eaten inside TS but the ambiance is very chill. One of my go-to spots for a smoothie when I'm running errands in the area. I have the app downloaded, which makes it really easy to order for pick-up. They have a couple seats at the counter to wait if your order isn't ready yet too. My only gripe with Tropical Smoothie is that they don't have a small size. Literally absolute worst location to exist. I preordered a meal prior to work. Come to pick it up and it's not there. I ask an employee and they look at me like I'm stupid. After asking 3 different employees to make my food they said I had to pay again. I asked for a refund and they refused to give me one. Long story short they wanted me to pay for my meal twice and refused to process the original refund or make the order. So I went to go work my 10 hour shift on an empty stomach with an attitude thanks to Palaak, Anna, and Eva. If those are even their real names since when I asked to speak to a manager "there's not one here or on the phone you can speak to" I left a number for the manager to call me at and never heard anything. Came in on this Monday afternoon and very happy with my smoothies and experience. By far the best Tropical Smoothie location I've been too here in East/North East of Atlanta. I've ordered the same two smoothies for the last couple months (expecting momma), Sunrise Sunset and the Chia Banana. Each location has tasted extremely different and not in a good way. I've been wanting the banana taste and even would ask to sun for more bananas and it's just was never what I was looking for. UNTIL Today! Omg. Was craving a smoothie, so I had my gf come and get one with me. We came across Tropical Smoothie Cafe, as it was the closest thing to us. This wasn't our first time here, but our second. My gf got the Jetty Punch smoothie, which is a strawberry and banana smoothie. I got the Sunrise Sunset smoothie, which was a combination of strawberries, pineapple, mango, and orange juice. Overall the smoothies were average tasting, nothing too special. You're also not able to pick your size, and it's pretty pricey as well. We paid a little over $12 for two of them. I'm a fan. First, it's cheap and healthier food. I get the Thai salad which is yummy!! Love the greens and the chicken and dressing. Great Great Management!!! So great that I went out of my way to go two days in a row and the Management remembered me and my drink! I appreciate that they ID when paying with a cc. All places should. My girlfriend and me came here yesterday for a healthy meal after working out and what we end up with a great overall experience. We have been coming here for about a year but not until yesterday for a full meal. I originally just wanted a buffalo wrap but ending up adding Green Island Smoothie to it for $3.50 which was a great deal. Smoothies are usually $7-$8 but are discounted when you come for their Happy Hour(open to 9:30am) to coming to $3.99 and if you add a smoothie to any meal it comes out to $3.50 as I got it for. My girlfriend to a chicken wrap(no picture) and a smoothie(no picture), she was happy with both too. I definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a great smoothie, healthy wrap, bowl, salad and/or snack in the area. Tropical Cafe Smoothie is located near Newks Eatery and Sublime Donuts facing Briarcliff Road. Parking can be hard to find during the day, so I'd park in the Walgreens back lot sometimes and take the stairs. The location is colorful, clean and well maintained. Came here after a work out the other day. We were trying to decide between a Chick-Fil-A milkshake or a TSC smoothie. We went the healthier route and ended up here. I ordered a Sunset Sunrise smoothie like always and my friend ordered an Acai Berry Boost, a superfood smoothie. Both were very refreshing and filling. I haven't tried the food here, but my friend says it's pretty good. Definitely will have to try the food next time. Service was great. Our smoothies were brought out to us promptly. I still really favor this store for my smoothies although their wraps and have been gaining traction with me. You can get any wrap and add a smoothie for just $3 or $3.50 more so the meal is just around $10. It's a healthy, filing meal. I will say the bowl wasn't a good deal. This location has improved greatly. Everyone was friendly. Atmosphere was pleasantly welcoming. Staff member, Julie is knowledgeable about the several new menu options - which I haven't known were even available. The manager asked if I was enjoying my time and meal, which was thoughtful. Every customer was either greeted or thanked for their patronage, which is a good business practice. And oh, almost forgot about the food... my three cheese quesadillas were surprisingly very delicious than what I thought they would be, it was light, fresh tasting and temperature was perfect. While the smoothies are still good overall, there's been inconsistency with how it tastes each time I go, and I get the same drink every time (island green). I've tried a couple of the wraps and food items here, as well, and feel pretty neutral towards it. I don't think the specialty items on the menu are their foods, but more so the drinks. read more

Originally on my first 2 visits I was impressed with my choice in food and smoothies then last night when I went for the teriyaki chicken pita and got home to find very LITTLE chicken in the sandwich. Very disappointing and too late to go back being it WAS 8:30pm on a holiday night. Not sure why this happened other then being late and maybe not focused but seems to be the norm in most places these days with the inconsistencies of these style places. A little too rich for me, but it's good. A few pro-tips: 1. Sign up for their txt alerts! Great deals that pop up randomly. 2. Call in ahead for your order. It doesn't take super long for the drinks to come out, but because they make-to-order, it does take some time. Call ahead like 5-10 minutes, tell them your name, and BAM ready when you get there. 3. I am always trying to find new spots to eat in the area for work lunches. From the name, I wouldn't have expected this place to serve full lunch items given the name (I thought it was just smoothies from the name), but was glad that I looked into them. I am calorie counting so I did my research online since they post their nutritional information on their website. I picked out a sandwich and smoothie. Unfortunately, the sandwich that I wanted was not served at this restaurant! Apparently, the locations pick and choose what they will serve. I ended up getting another roast beef sandwich, but have no idea what the nutritional value of it was because it isn't listed on their website. The same thing happened to another patron. She ended up leaving since they didn't have what she wanted. She looked at the menu but couldn't find a good replacement. You can save calories on smoothies by opting for Splenda. Unfortunately, I was dork and was so flustered about my sandwich order that I forgot to ask them to switch to Splenda. Oh well, so much for the healthy lunch. A few things on the upside. I forgot to print my coupon at home, but they gave me the deal anyway by showing it on my phone. Thanks! The food and the smoothie were absolutely delicious. I was so surprised. That saved the lunch outing. My two other friends both also loved their food. I know we will all be back because it is so close to our office. Note: Parking is a pain in this lot. Located in the shopping plaza at the corner of North Druid Hills and Briarcliff (across from CFA). I've been here a couple of times now for lunch. Parking isn't a problem. I've had the Caribbean chicken wrap and the Caribbean jerk chicken bowl. (Chose those two b/c they are the healthiest options in those categories). I honestly can't recommend the bowl. It's not like a Chipotle bowl. This was more of a salad with some rice, beans, and chicken sprinkled in. Calling it a bowl just seems wrong. It was dry and bland and just not enjoyable at all. The wrap was much better, though the chicken had more of a buffalo flavor than a jerk flavor. I felt there could have been more chicken as well. I got the extra chicken (+$1.50) and it didn't seem like it; I'm afraid to see what the wrap is like without the extra order. I've had a couple of smoothies as part of the sandwich combo. They were good I guess. Not watery, not too thick either. Would I come back? I'm not sure...there's a Newt's, literally, right next door which I think has better sandwiches. The service is always quick, the staff is friendly, the smoothies/food taste great, and it's so affordable!! our go-to items here are: 1. Cali Chicken Club Flatbread- Taste fresh and filling! 2. Chipotle Chicken Club Flatbread- Love the chipotle sauce they use because it's not spicy, just flavorful. 3. Mexican Street Corn- This side item is seriously the bomb! Its a bit spicy for me but I get it anyway because it's so good. 4. Sunrise Sunset Smoothie- this is a classic you can't go wrong. 5. Triple Berry Oat- This was by far my favorite smoothie! I love the blueberry, strawberry and cranberry combo and the protein added fills you up. Overall, I highly recommend coming in and ordering anything off the menu.
