The only reason why I'm rating this a three out of five is because I had it at a catered event. What can I say....this is definitely one of my favorite locations and they are very consistent with service and quality while it comes to food. I generally use the app to place my orders online and I've never waited more a couple of minutes to grab my food and head back out the door. While the chipotle mango avocado bowl is my fav selection with shrimp, there are several other options for bowls to choose from or you can make your own. I've had the tahini cucumber feta and it's pretty good but something about the chipotle mango bowl keeps me coming back. The sweet potato chips are ridiculously good and always a good compliment to the bowl. The prices are super reasonable for the amount that they give in my opinion and pretty filling which is always a good thing. There is a good bit of free parking at this location behind the building and while it can be a little congested in that area of Peachtree with traffic at times, it's usually not too bad. My fiance and me come to this Gusto on most Mondays to take advantage of the Medical Monday deal which is a BOGO deal for people that work in the Medical field. The food staff is great and remember us since we come in around the same time after work on Mondays. The restaurant seems quite cozy and would be great to sit and eat at even though we always take our food to go. The parking area is shared with a few other businesses and is never lacking space to park. The restaurant gets a great bit foot traffic from Piedmont Hospital across the street and a good bit of houses/apartments near it so there is always other customers coming and going in. Overall, the restaurant is one of the healthy restaurant in the area with some many menu combinations to pick from and create of your own. Don't order anything with shrimp! My recent fav of mango/avacado with shrimp was inedible. The shrimp were super mushy and definitely had an "off" taste. After 2 bites, I dumped the whole meal in the garbage. Bad shrimp can really mess you up. This place used to be great but both food and staff have really gone downhill. Would go to another Gusto location since there seems to be a disease that infects only Buckhead fast-casuals - very good then awful. This spot is absolutely delicious with probably the best bowls I've ever had. The concept is similar to ordering a burrito bowl at Chipotle, except this place is BETTER. My friend and I ordered the chipotle mango avocado and the tzatziki lemon artichoke bowls, which come with sweet potato chips, and it was honestly hard to eat all of our food because the bowls are pretty big. Across this restaurant on DoorDash and I was not disappointed I ordered two salads that I absolutely enjoyed. I've been trying to eat healthier and cleaner since the pandemic, and after eating the food that I ordered, I did not feel inflamed or bloated. I am a fan of the chipotle mango avocado - 1/2&1/2 - in a wrap - chicken or shrimp. Yeah, I know that shrimp makes it a little costly, but it is filling and sooo good. The flavor melt together in a smooth way that is satisfying. My only downside is that I feel the rice could be cooked a little longer to give jasmine a little more softness - that doesn't stop me from getting my gusto. I have told myself that I will try other gusto flavors - the chipotle mango had heat but is mild (more to give flavor vs heat) and seems to understand me. Came by with a friend one weekday evening. One of the Yelp tips suggested to turn at CVS and you'll see the free parking behind the buildings. We were greeted upon entering. The friendly staff at the counter could probably tell we had never been there before so she motioned for us to come to the counter, where she explained the ordering process. Not in any particular order: - Choose your mains (Tahini Cucumber Feta, Chile Sesame BBQ, Ginger Lime Peanut, Chipotle Mango Avocado, Sweet Soy Sriracha, or Tzatziki Lemon Artichoke - all $8.45 each) - Choose your base (mixed greens, brown rice, half greens/half rice, or flatbread wrap) - Choose your protein (Grilled Chicken $0.70, Grilled Spicy Chicken $0.70, Grilled Portabella $1.50, or Grilled Shrimp $3.50). You can add extra protein (+$2.95-$6.55) or add avocado $1.50. I chose the Tzatziki Lemon Artichoke, which came with creamy tzatziki sauce, Israeli couscous, baby kale, artichoke, and grape tomato salad tossed in a lemon vinaigrette, and topped with sweet pickled onions. In the past few years there's been so many of these "build your own" restaurants. Gusto is top on my list. The process is extremely simple, the ingredients are fresh and the sauces are delicious! P.S. GREAT FOR VEGETARIANS! Step 1. Choose your base: Brown Rice, Mixed Greens, Both or Flat Bread. Step 2. Choose your protein: Chicken, Spicy Chicken, Shrimp or Mushrooms. Step 3. Choose your gusto! This are a series of 6 and maybe a special 7th recipe to finish off your meal. FYI: You can add anything to your meal but you CANNOT take away or substitute an ingredient in the gusto recipes. So it would be wise to choose one in which you eat majority of the items if you're a picky eater I choose the Chipotle Mango Avocado meal and my friend got the Tahini Cucumber Feta and we both got warm flat bread on the side. My meal was perfect. The black beans and mango pieces were a nice pop. I HATE avocado and when I tell you, it was delicious in this bowl too. I will be back soon! Good, fresh, nutritious food! I had grilled shrimp over a half rice/half salad bowl with ginger, lime, peanut sauce. It was soooo delicious. My husband also enjoyed his spicy Korean bowl with chicken. The sweet potato chips are addictive!! The lemon butter cookies was soft and yummy. The style of the place is clean and cute - white with pops of yellow. The bathrooms require a code and, surprisingly, offer mouthwash via dispenser. For toppings I added chicken and spicy shrimp and there was honestly enough food for two people. All the ingredients were fresh, the rice was warm, and the sauce was appropriately spicy. For folks who don't enjoy spicy foods there are many other options, and you can also choose your choice of base(s). I love Gusto so much, but this is the THIRD time I've ordered from this location and paid extra for avocado, only to not get it on my bowl! Kinda frustrating. Aside from that though, Gusto is one of my very favorite counter service spots, so I was extremely happy when I found out one was going in within walking distance of my office. It's healthy and reasonably priced. You can't go wrong with any of the bowls, but my go-to is the Sweet Soy Sriracha with spicy grilled chicken over half-and-half (brown rice and mixed greens). It's so yummy and low calorie (their nutrition calculator on their website is off the chain, if you're into that sorta thing). We walked in and the place has a very open space, cool decor, quotes on the wall etc. (see pics), and it smelled heavenly. No other customers were there although they came later, so we were first in line. The set up is similar to Chipotle. So you decide on your choice of greens or brown rice or flatbread or half/half, next you choose your protein - chicken, shrimp, or portabella. Then You choose your dressing or sauce. Your meal then comes with complimentary sweet potato chips. I had the greens with shrimp and a tahini cucumber feta dressing with a limeade. - Yummy! The only drawback for me was that it seemed like it was a very small portion while my sisters meal was huge. She ordered the greens with chicken and apple curry peanut dressing. - she LOVED IT. I tasted it and it was really good. Huge pieces of chicken. Limeade was refreshing. Everything was explained to us by the cashier perfectly. Very courteous and friendly service. Our meal was prepared and ready super quick. They have stool seating facing the street of you want to people watch or you can sit outside on a nice day. We sat inside and took our time and chatted. I haven't been when it's been packed, but they seem to make the food pretty quick. The rice, chicken & mango avocado bowl is good. It's brown rice so you know it's healthy. The chicken is pretty good...I've gotten a few burnt pieces before tho. The chucks of avocado are great! Better than guacamole in my opinion. And the Chunks of mango add a nice flavor.
