Good, fresh food. But something is always missing. Ordered Supergreen Caesar chicken, nothing but iceberg lettuce, no kale and only a couple shreds of spinach. Not really supergreen. Ordered Baja chicken. No avocado, my favorite part. Don't get me wrong, it was good, fresh and fast. I will keep going because it is still better than other fast food places, but I wish the food would match the description better. My husband and I were craving smoothies after the gym so I started googling places that had pretty simple ingredients. This one popped up and the pictures of the location looked great so we gave it a shot. It was exactly what we were looking for! I got the Paradise Point and my husband got the Acai Berry Boost. Both were so good! They were made super quickly and the consistency was nice and thick. The portions are big too. My Thai salad was great. Don't let the take-out size fool you: it gave me enough salad for two days of lunches. Plus, you can add a smoothie onto a sandwich or salad for $3.50. The smoothies are always good. Regular customer along with several of my coworkers. Have always been very happy. However the female employee cleaning the outside doors at lunchtime today was rude. I smiled at her and waited until she stopped so I could go inside. I held the door open for her as she entered on my way out. No smile or thanks from her. I have been eating healthier and juicing since the first of the year and have been trying to find healthy choice when not at home. I had read the reviews and thought I would give it a try. It was amazing. I got the Green Healthy Smoothie with ginger and it was fabulous. I also had the Super Green Caesar wrap with extra chicken and is was amazing. Everything very fresh and delicious. I used to eat and get a smoothie here everyday when I worked in Blue Ash. I do not come here much anymore but this place is amazing. Five stars is what it deserves. Peanut Paradise is the best smoothie even thou is super unhealthy for you. The wraps are awesome here as well especially the caesar wrap. They have a very friendly staff as well and a cool owner. The name does not do this place justice! There is so much more on the menu than smoothies! In fact, I have eaten here a dozen times and never ordered a smoothie. (Though I have stolen a sip of my kids' and they taste yummy). Loads of healthy choices here - I especially like the Super Grain Bowls. The tacos (4 options) taste like authentic street tacos...delish! The sandwiches and wraps are also good. Please give this place a try! read more

I feel like the smoothie descriptions are a bit misleading. I wanted to know the difference between two nearly identical smoothies because there was a 200 calorie difference between the two. I came to find out that one had added cane sugar. I don't have any problem this, but given that every other ingredient was listed it seemed slightly deceptive that sugar was the only ingredient not listed. I ended up getting the smoothie without the added sugar and it tasted good, but I have a feeling it was the only one on the menu without added sugar so the menu felt a bit limiting in that respect. read more

My husband and I frequent this Tropical Smoothie Cafe and normally we have a great experience and LOVE the smoothies. However, since hiring a new set of employees, the place has gone downhill and I don't think I'll be returning. The smoothie I FINALLY received after a 15 minute wait was actually inedible. Neither my husband nor I could drink it. It was bananas, peanut butter, and frozen yogurt. How hard can that be? It literally tasted like the stuff they squirt in there to help it blend better mixed with ice. I'm pretty sure the girl behind the counter forgot the other ingredients and she stood and flirted with a customer instead of making our smoothies. Oh and this was after she already made THREE other smoothies for customers in behind us. This made us late for a very important event. The only reason I even gave it 2 stars is for the very nice young gentleman who usually helps us and makes wonderful smoothies. Please consider firing your new employees. read more

I tried to order the Thai chicken salad with vegan chicken but they told me they were out of the chicken. That was the second time that's happened since I've started going.The cashier suggested I get the hummus veggie wrap instead and as a free side I chose a kale salad. I noticed a white dressing on the kale and asked if it contained dairy but the cashier assured me it was just honey mustard. I mentioned I didn't mind honey but cannot have dairy and she said it was fine. I mentioned MULTIPLE times during the whole process that I was, in fact, vegan. I came home took a bite of my wrap and something seemed off... I pulled up the restaurant's allergy page and lo and behold the wrap not only contained milk and egg but also shellfish.. In a hummus veggie wrap? Gross. The honey mustard also contained egg. I shouldn't have to lie and say that I had food allergies in order for them to take me seriously and check! This place is the best! You can watch them make you a super fresh and healthy smoothie (warning: they all come with sugar added unless you ask for no sugar). I've loved everything I've tried from the smoothie and food menu. I'm a very health conscious person so it's really nice to be able to get fast food without compromising my taste buds or integrity of ingredients. I've gotten a lot of my coworkers to start going too and no complaints from any of them. They even have a vegetarian meat option which I heard is pretty good! The staff is really nice and the place is always clean and happy. Honestly the best fast food place I've ever been! Please open more locations! read more
