Opens at 7 AM but got there at 8:30 and they were closed. Very disappointed at the moment.

I visited this location earlier in the year, terrible experience overall, dirty, slow service, unfriendly staff, food portions small.. I returned October 10th and found a completely different atmosphere, new management had taken over and really has turned the place around, it's so much cleaner, staff is much friendlier( greeting when you walk in the door) food portions and overall appearance and taste of smoothies and food is incredible and products taste fresh and high quality. Shout out to the general manager, who I learned took over in September, and in just 1 short month has it seeming to be a brand new store! read more

Service is a no. How come they close at 9 but lazy workers stop service for smoothies 30 minutes before actual close. The restaurant is open til 9, if you aren't going to follow that, then change the time. On top of that, I was asked to leave 15 minutes before 9 because the worker said they want to leave 5 minutes early. Horrible read more

Not much to say. The Queen and I stopped in here to get a quick snack before heading to our next spot. Smoothies were ok, but for the price, clocking in at almost $10, nothing to write home about. The Queen also got a Chicken Chorizo'dilla (chicken chorizo, roasted pineapple salsa, queso blanco, cheddar & smoked cheese blend in a pressed flour tortilla with a side of roasted tomato salsa). Tropical Smoothie Cafe smoothies are okay, but the service is poor. On a slow weeknight, my partner and I stepped in right before they closed to try their smoothies. Because of this reason, the young woman behind the counter was terse as she told us that "we are closing in like two minutes" as we were choosing which smoothie to order. Having worked in service, I do understand that when trying to close soon, it can be deflating to take an order, but I do believe it's best to try to remain friendly or at the very least neutral. We ordered the Mango smoothie, and it was uncomfortable to wait and watch the young woman making our smoothie. It was clear she was upset as she went through the motions with a tight face and aggressive haste. She likely wanted to be doing anything but make our smoothie. Needless to say, we won't be back. I've given this location two stars because we felt the size was large enough to share and our smoothie was made quickly, but the taste was ordinary -- and as mentioned the service made us feel unwelcome. There are other smoothie cafes and even grocery stores (Marianos) with tastier smoothies with very friendly service. I recommend trying one of those instead! read more

I'm on this eco-friendly kick and trying to eat better (although a 17-year vegetarian), so I was ecstatic to hear about Too Good To Go. As much as I hear about great, fresh food being wasted, this seemed like an obvious app to download. And by this being a smoothie place, I 100% assumed I'd get fruit in this "surprise" bag. A banana, at the very least. They go bad just by looking in their direction. Instead, I ended up paying $3.99 for seven containers of jalapeno corn and two bags of jalapeno chips. The chips were curious in itself because they don't expire until June of this year, so either they're not selling well or the restaurant was trying to add a little variety to the surprise bag. The corn made sense. They would have probably had to throw those out. But it just seemed like a peculiar bag when I could clearly see them making three or four smoothies for other customers. I got there at 7:30 p.m. They close at 8 p.m. I'm having a tough time believing that they didn't end up throwing out any remaining fruit. While I'm definitely going to give Too Good To Go Inc. another shot, it won't be here. I wish management would encourage its employees to give out the "good" stuff that's left. Why? You end up with a repeat customer regardless of the app, and I'd never been in there before. The customer service was strange, too. I walked in. There was one guy at a table and another waiting by the pickup area. The smoothie guy kept on making smoothies but never acknowledged me. You would've thought it was 30 people in there with the way he was moving. I assumed it was my fault and walked to the register instead of the pickup area. A lady came out and looked at me. I showed her my app and forgot the name of the company, but they realized what I was talking about. Then the guy just walked away for a few minutes. I didn't know if he was going home for the night or bringing me a bag. And the lady just took over with making the same shakes he was making. Then the guy popped back up. This is the third location in the city and the thirteenth in the state. This is my first time here and my first having this brand. This and the Lincoln Square one is the same owner. This is a little bigger than the lin. sq. one and this seats 40. I had the Sunset Sunrise. The size for $5.50 is a great deal! The staff and service was very good. PS. I absolutely loved the smoothies from here. I've been on a smoothie kick recently and was looking for a new place when I found this joint. I love the huge selection of flavors and all the customizations you can make. They give you a very generous size and the ingredients are so fresh. I had the island greens and really enjoyed it. It was refreshing and tasty while still being very healthy. I will definitely be back to try some other flavors! read more

I went to the location located on Devon since they have a drive through. The hummus wrap absolutely sucked. Tastes terrible, I couldn't finish it. These smoothies are like sex on the beach - f**king close to water. They are the la croix of smoothies - mostly just crushed ice with the tiniest whisper of a hint of fruit flavor. It tastes similar to what I think it would taste like if you filled a blender with ice and then dropped one blueberry in and blended it. If you want to pay $9 for essentially ice, be my guest. Just wow...Jamba juice this isnt...The worst smoothies ive ever had in my life and ive lived in smoothie capital California for years and Ive had every smoothie chain and mom and pop smoothie outlet you can find...Are these healthy smoothies?....Hell yeah they are...Five pounds of crushed ice and a smattering of whatever fruit concoction you picked from menu, im sure the calories(and taste) count are super low...Anyways just close your eyes and pick any one from menu cause they are all terrible and pretty tasteless...Im hoping the 3 smoothies i tried and threw away 2 of them just stems from new opening and untrained employees...But if this is what the smoothie recipes are like this place will be gone in a few months...On a good note the place serves food like wraps and such and the pictures look tasty so maybe this is where the strength lies...Ive made incredible better smoothies with 35 dollar bullet and zero effort...This place has high end expensive blenders, what a waste and tell me how did I have a few ice chunks in all the smoothies with using machines like this...lol...Did i mention how bad these smoothies are...I would given zero stars but the fact that this place has opened and operating during pandemic deserves the 2 stars alone. read more

This place is really great! Tasty smoothies and food. There seems to be only one size for the smoothie- which is big!! That in combo with a breakfast item only cost me $8, which is fair pricing in my opinion. I picked up my order which was ready in 10 minutes, and when I came in the staff was very friendly and the place was sparkling clean. I highly recommend trying Tropical Smoothie Cafe. I was skeptical based on other reviews but don't knock it till you've tried it, right? I was so happy that I came here and am very satisfied with my order and interaction. read more
