I was recommended this place from a friend, so I decided to try it out for lunch! Doesn't look like much when you walk in but don't let that fool you because the food is good! I ordered the small #4 - Cordon Bleu sub meal which had (Chicken Breast, Grilled Ham, Honey Mustard, Mayo, Swiss Cheese, Tomatoes & Lettuce). I got it without Mayo and lettuce. The small sub and fries is a perfect amount for lunch. I couldn't even finish the fries. The staff was very friendly and had nothing but good vibes! The reason I'm giving a 4 star is because the presentation of the food. Even though it was really good it looked like it was just slapped together. Grand Junction 1100 19th Ave. North in Fargo, ND. First off, I am truly amazed the Health Dept allows this place to stay in operation. This is by far the dirtiest restaurant we have ever ate at before. EVERYTHING was sticky! A dozen booth's and only one had napkins. The rest were dirty tables, on & underneath, and the napkin holders were empty. Beavis called our name to pick up our order we placed. The greasiest slop, and nothing close to what I would label a Sub sandwich. BOTH of us got sick from eating here, later on in the day. We will NEVER ever eat at one of these Grand Junctions ever again, and would HIGHLY recommend YOU stay away from them too. read more

Usually eat here 1-2 times month, but lately service has degraded slightly more each time I visit. Yesterday there were 3 people in front of me waiting. My colleague and I waited 25 mins to place order and another 20-25 mins to have sandwiches made. This was at 1:30'so the lunch rush was over and 3 people waiting behind us. There were 3 guys running the line and the owner was in and out unloading a truck or something in the back. Once we got our sandwiches they were over done and not up to the typical quality they have been I the past. The three guys cooking would put 2 orders on the g and then stand around instead of taking orders to keep things moving. Not impressed by yesterday's experience. If your mouth doesn't start watering profusely as you stand in line watching your sizzling hot sandwich being grilled up on the flat top, then I just don't know what to tell you. I ordered the Chicken Ranch Junction, and it was as good as it looked. The sandwich came out oozing with a piping hot melted miracle of cheese and ranch. Really delicious stuff. This place is very craftily exposing banh mi sandwiches into the populace here, just in heavily Americanized versions and calling them specifically after other more well-known American sandwiches. Case in point, their Philly steak. How many Philly steaks come with teriyaki sauce? If your answer is a positive number, you are wrong but you can get one here by that name. In many ways, this place is the ultimate fusion as everything is served on very nice French baguettes that are the hallmark of banh mi. No idiots these proprietors, they do not use that name or term anywhere in the restaurant, but those sandwiches are much closer to that than to the American namesakes. There are no pho bowls or rice or anything like that here; you see fries. In the fountain is Diet Mt. Dew, so all to the good there. Fries are, however, oversalted. There are also cookies available from someplace called Best Maid. These are Asian proprietors, so service can be a bit brisk and abrupt, not rude, but more like short and to the point. Good enough for me. The place is also very bare bones, but did seem to be overall pretty clean. The bottom line here is they sling a very good sandwich. I wouldn't call it great, but they do a great job of having it fit the area, which still serving somewhat top notch sandwiches and some interesting takes on old classics. Ordered the chicken parmesan with fries. There may be a wait on a Sunday afternoon but believe me--worth it. Can't wait to go back. Prices aren't unreasonable. The tables could've been cleaned up better, as most were not wiped down. As well as the bathrooms; not in the greatest shape. I love Grand Junction!!!! The Hawain sub is the best! I am living in California now and have been looking for a sub shop similiar to Grand Junction and have yet to find one. This time home it was one of my first stops!!! Love me some G-Junks. The junction delight with peppers is super yummy, I also like the Chicken junction...ok I like just about everything they offer. I can say that because I have eaten almost everything on their menu. The bread is crusty on outside and soft on the inside. the hot grill and sauces on the sandwich fillings are excellent. Such a nice change from the bland ordinary sub shops!! The fries are usually seasoned well and pretty good too but for me it is all about the sandwiches. Service is good, I can't think of a time when I have had awful service or bad food, so they earn a 5 star from me :) read more

Food is always very good but lately the service is super slow, can take 30 minutes or more to get food during lunch hour. Cleanliness is also an issue, Tables not wiped down, ketchup spilled all over plastic forks on counter.
