I've always loved tropical smoothie but today was just a sad experience. There was 3 people working while 2 were taking a break and watching the other struggle take 6 orders all by herself. I tried ordering food and the worker kept messing with me. I told her the food I wanted and she kept ignoring me saying i can't hear you. I was hoping to just get my food and go to work. I had time, she apparently didn't care. I had one more worker so the same thing. The worst customer service I have ever had in my life. All over food? We ordered the hummus veggie wrap, Caribbean jerk chicken, and the kale/apple slaw and everything was smothered in sauce. My office ordered several items for delivery. They made mine wrong - I can't eat it as it's things I don't care for. I called back and spoke to the manager, who refused to redo my order and deliver it. Not trying to be a Karen, but it was their error, and all I was offered was them to remake the incorrect item (but I would have to go pick it up which defeats the purpose) or a coupon for a free smoothie (I don't like smoothies). I like that something healthy is in Fargo but thought what I ordered was just so so. I ordered the Thai chicken bowl (salad). It had some wilted old romaine which I didn't find appetizing so I stopped eating it about 3 bites in. Dressing and chicken were good. I also ordered a superfood smoothie that was green in color but tasted like watered down banana. Way too much ice. Also, they use styrofoam cups which are bad for the environment and puncture easily. I had to throw or 3/4 of my giant smoothie away because the cup holder in my car punctured the side of the cup. I will give it a try again for salads but definitely not a smoothie. The kale apple slaw was really good! Recommend ordering that as a side. read more

I stopped in tonight with my wife. We were immediately struck by how loud it was in there. There were only two people eating in there, likely because the music was soooo loud--I measured the intensity with an app on my phone and got an average of 90 dB with a peak of 95. We told the girl at the till that the music was too loud so we'd take our food to go. We ordered but couldn't hear her read it back to us, which we told her (again). We got our food home, opened it up and they had gotten the order wrong. Sigh. read more

The first time I went there, it smelled terrible. Decided to try it again and it smelled like burnt food and vomit. The teenagers that work there don't care about cleaning and the tables are filthy and crumbs all over the floor. There were flies everywhere from the overflowing trash. We stopped in for lunch the other day. Not a health nut but wanted something simple for lunch. I ordered the Jamaican Wrap. I'm from Arizona so I'm use to spicy foods. But for some reason I didn't think it would be spicy (living in Florida now so I don't expect spice much). Let me tell you - it was spicy! It was GREAT! I really enjoyed the flavored that it had. Service was fast and super friendly as well. Only reason they didn't get 5 stars is because they don't have any type of fountain drinks. I would have loved some iced tea even. That's healthy right? I love Tropical Smoothie, always have! The sunshine smoothie and Caesar chicken wrap are my go-to's! I don't think of it as a "low calorie" option obviously because it's not, tortillas, mayo, salad dressing, fruit, etc all have calories, sugars and carbs people! But the ingredients you are consuming are much healthier then a greasy fast food hamburger and fries :) read more

I ordered a smoothie with 2 of my friends, they got theirs within 10 minutes, but mine took 30 minutes after I had to ask if they had made mine. They made a comment about losing tickets and then gave me a smoothie that had been sitting on the counter, and it was not the one I ordered. Great place for smoothies; my go to breakfast place. Also want to give a shout out for great customer service! I have a broken car key and it fell when I picked up my smoothie. It's ok. The food is alright and the smoothies pretty good. Couple of things that kind of bother me is the customer service is a "roll the dice" kind of thing sometimes you get a nice one and sometimes. It does get busy but it shouldn't get so busy that they can't have someone one wipe the tables down and a quick sweep under the tables. Nothing like going out and having to wipe your own table down. If there was an option of 0 stars I would do that. This store has the worst customer service ever. They act as if they are giving stuff for free. I would suggest people to stay away from this store. They ran out of veggie chicken after we ordered a sandwich and later they came and asked us to change our order. We chose a hummus wrap and quietly left later. This time we ordered omelet wrap and it had chicken so I went and asked them to change it to veggie chicken and the guy says it's our mistake and wont redo our order. So I reminded them of the last time when they did a mistake and we still took some thing else and did not make a deal. The guys says I should have told some thing that week only lol. In other words he meant we were good enough to ignore their error but they won't accommodate our request. He also falsely stated that he gave us a free voucher for their mistake. If I could give this location negative stars, I would. For some reason I continue to go to this location regardless of how poor the service is every single time. I am always friendly to the staff, tip and I am still treated like garbage. Tonight was my last straw. My husband and I stopped for a late dinner while we were out. I knew they were closing in 20 minutes so I came up to the counter and asked if it was still okay to place a takeout order. I could see they were cleaning everything up. I was blatantly ignored and then asked sharply if I was ready to order. I offered to not order a smoothie (since everything was being put away) and she just snapped that it was fine.
