Leah J.

I have been trying new smoothie places lately and I tried tropical smoothie on market for the first time today and had a interesting experience. I walked in and looked at the menu and no one greeted me said hi. Let me know if you have questions or anything... The most I got was stares. It was actually very uncomfortable like I walked into someone's house lol everyone was pretty young or uninterested in being there. I had questions about my smoothie but decided to not ask them because I just wanted to order and get out. I got the peanut butter cup, and I felt like it was made quickly with no love. I did not want to write it lower because I appreciate having a healthy option Downtown.

I listen to the advise of employee Kevin (who by the way is AMAZING) and tried the Pomegranate Plunge with kiwi instead of banana. It's so delicious! This is my third day back.

I love a good acai bowl from here. i'll never complain & say they aren't fresh on demand BUT however the customer service is mediocre.. I'm not sure if it's because it's younger employees but every time I walk in I just get stared at until someone finally decides to help.. No hello. No thank you.. No you're welcome. No smiles. it's weird.

SMOOTHIE( PARADISE POINT)

When we walked in, we were greeted. They was very fast and knew about the menu and the price was decent for the size we got and it was very good. I got Paradise point.

I have recently been to Goose twice, both for different things. The first visit was for the bacon…read moremaking class, and the second was to pick up my bacon, and trying some of the sandwiches they have. Bacon making class: overall I am glad I did the class, but think there are some things that could change. The information provided at the beginning of the class didn't flow the best, and used a lot of terms I didn't understand- knowing your audience is important. We were told we would get 1.5lbs bacon, and .5lbs bacon bits. When picking up the bacon, we only got the bacon, and none of the bits. This needs to be updated on the class description. Sandwiches: we tried a goose, and a batalli. The goose was good- nothing spectacular. I was a fan of the batalli- nice amount of mayo, appropriate spice, and good amount of meat/cheese. Would definitely get the batalli next time. Overall, I enjoy the sandwiches, think the sandwich class could be improved.

What a fun spot for a sandwich or cheese or sundry items!…read more It is on the corner of two busy streets but does have two spots in front for parking. You can also park in the gravel lot across the road. It was raining pretty heavily so we got wet but wasn't a far dash. The counter is like any deli with the items displayed in the cold case. You can browse the various freezers or shelves for items like picked veggies, canned fish or spreads. It was fun to see that you could buy everything needed for a picnic or impromptu lunch! We got sandwiches to go as well as locally baked cookies. I tried the recommendation for a vegetarian sandwich. It was nice and crusty and had some good flavor. I might create my own next time, but theirs was good and had lots of flavor! My friend was new to Indianapolis and really liked the options. She said she would be back and so will we. They also do tasting events and other things so we might check out one of their offerings. A fun local spot!

Food: lame Price: expensive!…read moreService: not friendly Atmosphere: SUPER WEIRD... dimly lit, Deer-butt wallpaper and clowns??? My husband and I had never been here before and the lady at the counter was less than friendly. She did tell us the menu was on the other wall. My husband got a Diet Coke that came in a can and we both got a classic plate minus the toast. 2 eggs, 2 sausage patties... nothing special including the presentation. The price for each plate was $18 plus a $2 can of coke and a tip they didn't deserve brought our total to a little over $40. The eggs were flavorless and literally had no seasoning. I did appreciate that the sausage patties weren't greasy. That was about the only good thing. The decor looked like they took whatever thrift stores couldn't sell with no particular theme. Funny enough, we went out for breakfast a few days later to a DIFFERENT PLACE and for the SAME PRICE got way more food, better quality food, better presentation, full table service, friendly service, great atmosphere, and an overall wonderful experience. Overall, I would not recommend this place. We left feeling like we got ripped off and I could have made the same thing better at home.

I ordered the country breakfast with fried chicken. The chicken was crunchy and delicious but I would've wished that the gravy had more flavor. It was pretty bland. I added my own salt&pepper but the overall meal would've been better if it had more flavor since the gravy covered everything. My sister ordered waffles and a side of bacon which she said was good as well. She only wished the bacon was fried harder because it was not as crispy especially since it was a thick piece of bacon. Overall good experience and hope to return to try a sandwich!

I went with a Malibu and ginger ale, and it was served in this cute glass, I loved it! We were all so hungry, so we started out with a large order of fries, and they are a standout. They disappeared fast, came served on paper, and were crispy, hot, and delicious. We ordered the 2 10-piece wings (the biggest order available), including one batch cooked extra crispy. The wings were good, and I especially enjoyed the Fat Dan's hot BBQ sauce over the regular BBQ. I really liked the extra crispy wings. My boys also wanted burgers. One ordered the Wake N Bake Burger and the other got the Fat Dan's Burger. Both looked tasty, and neither of them complained. The ambiance strikes a nice balance between sports bar and family friendly restaurant. There is seating both inside and outside, and when the weather is nice, they open the large doors to create an open-air feel. That's where we sat, and I enjoyed it. Service was quick and efficient, which was much appreciated since my family arrived hungry. This is a solid spot for burgers, wings, and fries.
