Good food there but the workers there were not so good. I saw a nice women who dropped her smoothie the other day she was cleaning it up and asked if the could make her a new one. They would not give her a refund or a new one. It really bothered me, then, a staff member was prepping something then proceeded to talk badly about the women after she left saying how she shouldn't have to get a new one and that it wasnt her fault the lady dropped her smoothie therefore she shouldnt get a new one. So overall, the food is good, but you should really interview your staff workers better before hiring so they aren't some bratty teenagers. read more

So I usually go to this chain in Jupiter Florida and I was happy when I saw one in a plaza in Long Island. So I took my friend and it was just great! I loved my smoothie and I got the island quesadilla which is so yummy and delicious. Also the detox smoothie is only 180 cals and is absolutely delicious. I love ginger so It was just perfect for me. It's your typical chain/franchise smoothie place. They have all the typical smoothies everywhere else has plus some seasonal options like pumpkin smoothies. Employees are all friendly kids that are maybe in high school or college. It can get loud and busy when the kids at the high school across the street all pile in so beware during school hours if you're in a rush, I would recommend ordering ahead. The place is very clean every time I've been here and there's only about three tables with the rest of the seating being bar height at a table or the counter. read more

Big fan of Tropical Smoothie, and while I can't speak for the actual physical location here the catering order was great. I believe the guy I met was the owner and he was extremely appreciative and friendly. My thoughtful best friend shared that Tropical Smoothie will soon be removing two of my favorite items from their menu; my beloved Orange Ginger Glow smoothie and the delectable Cali Chicken Club. I didn't think the situation could be more heartbreaking until I visited this location. My smoothie was lacking the fullness and flavor it normally has but for memory's sake, I didn't complain. The Cali Chicken Club was missing its umph! Imagine the deep disappointment after being so emotional preparing to say farewell to my fave things to order. Also, I had a bite of the Baja Chicken Wrap from my boyfriend but it should've been named the the Ba-humbug Chicken Wrap! It was unbearably bland even with a few drops of hot sauce from my purse (don't judge!) Long story short, make your own smoothie at home or settle for less than the best here. Been going here a while. Ordered a few smoothies the other day. Woman drops the cups on the floor and then decides its a good idea to put them on the counter for use in my smoothies. I wonder what other sanitary things they have going on in the back. If you were working retail and did this would you apologize? No that would be to hard for her because she didn't. I was happy I found Tropical Smoothie Cafe as it is conveniently located by my boyfriend's house and open pretty late. We figured it might be our new spot to grab smoothies and jumpstart our health kick. Upon waking in, we learned of the extensive variety of smoothies they offer and were excited to take our pick. Once we placed our order, we waited for what felt like a torturous lifetime as the employees behind the counter decided that on this evening, they would act rambunctious as ever, wildly juvenile and extremely noisy. Their behavior turned out to be beyond unsettling as we had to wait a very long time for the offenders to prepare and serve our drinks. The actual smoothies were pretty decent and quite filling, however, it seems as though the store is in desperate need of adult supervision in order to ensure that these particular employees keep their overstimulation under wraps. read more

Today was my second time ordering from the app. It has glitches and is not user friendly. My order went through as pickup instead of delivery. I attempted to cancel, I was directed to contact the store directly. The store told me online orders I have to contact the app's customer service. I reorder through the app, doordash then delivers my order almost 1hr later (10min trip) and is missing items from my order. She showed me her phone, my order is listed as 2 items when I ordered & paid for 3. Called the store, the employee was so rude. Directed to call doordash. They took my info and attempted to contact the store for resolution, with no results. I have paid for 2 orders, one I never received and second order missing items. I even went in person. No resolution. Very unhappy and will not be ordering again. read more

I got there at 2pm, and left at 2:25pm...seems like an awfully long time to "grab n' go". The kid at the register told me he would take me next then proceeded to take 2 women that walked in after me. He then started to take the order of a family of 6...when I jumped in and said I was waiting. I ordered my smoothie and waited and waited. I noticed the smoothies were coming out for the family...so I asked them where mine was and this nasty girl making the smoothies said there's one in the fridge for Stacey. I was like well my name's not Stacey. I asked her what kind it was and she said it was a Lean Machine (which is exactly what I had ordered). So I told her that was mine and as I was walking out, she was muttering under her breath about me. Overall, horrible customer service and ridiculously unprofessional kids. I'll give them credit because their smoothies look BOMB and I want to go back to try one. They have a happy hour in the morn so the idea interests me more. BUT, I would absolutely not recommend the food. Got a Baja chicken bowl from there. Chicken was tasteless and the guacamole tasted SPOILED. One of my friends and I come here so often and never had a single problem. It's quick to order, everyone is super nice, and I always order things that come with meat, and ask for none (vegetarian), and they never made a mistake there. Overall great place for lunch and smoothies. I'd recommend to anyone who wants a quick meal that you won't feel bad about eating. read more

I go to tropical smoothie on my lunch break every week. And I'm not one to write reviews but this is the second time this happen. I ordered a cheese quesadilla and the cheese is never melted??? It's literally cold cheese on a cold tortilla. And for some reason they keep putting sauce on it even though I ask for only cheese. I feel like I'm eating a frozen piece of pizza. And since I go on my half hour lunch break I don't even have time to go back and complain so I just waste my $ and go without lunch.... read more

Found hair in my food, also had to tell the girl in the front i wanted no green onions and scallions in my bowl and she proceeded to still add them and take out what i actually wanted. my smoothie also came out watery when i asked for it to be thick. never going back to this location ever again read more

The slowest smoothie place I have ever visited. Everyone is new or training or clueless as to what is going on. They are more concerned with the online orders than the in person customers. They forgot half of my order and didn't seem to care at all. The workers making the smoothies are also slow as molasses. There were at least 6 people working at one time yet many customers were waiting. Not worth the wait. read more
