Because we didn't have access to the venue until shortly beforehand, timing was critical. When I arrived at 3:00 PM, the manager told me the order would be ready by 3:30. I wasn't able to leave with the food until 3:53 PM, making me late to my own sister's wedding. The explanation was simply that they were busy. While they said they had attempted to call us, a catering order placed several days in advance should have been planned for and ready at the promised time. The pickup process was also surprisingly confusing. Even though we had already paid for everything several days earlier, I was told to pick up the food on one side of the restaurant and then go to a completely different counter for the juices. The employees appeared unsure how the order was supposed to be handled and had to ask each other what to do. To make matters worse, while already running late, I still had to wait in another long line just to receive the juices that had already been ordered and paid for. Unfortunately, this wasn't an isolated experience. This was my third visit, and each time I've found the service to be disorganized and the staff to be dismissive, often acting as though customers are inconveniencing them rather than trying to help. The reason this isn't a one-star review is because the food is genuinely good. If the service and organization matched the quality of the food, this would be an easy recommendation. For me, though, this was the last visit. I'll gladly drive a few extra minutes to Soriano Brothers, where the food is just as good, catering orders have always been ready on time, and the staff has consistently been friendly and welcoming.
