Aw I hate to be this person but this tropical smoothies is always a hit or miss and lately it's a miss. I order the Nutella açaí bowl and add peanut butter at an additional fee and get no peanut butter. Another time I order a Nutella açaí bowl, add peanut butter and somehow get no bananas, blueberries and I think even no chia seeds. Also the attitude from some of the staff... I don't need to be formally greeted but being nice is just common decency. Both bowls are the Nutella açaí bowl at different dates but completely different. I did start eating my bowl until I realized that something was missing and was like no way loll. Idk I just want some consistency when I go in and ask for the same basic thing that's 12$ read more

I ordered an acai bowl online and when I went in to get it they told me they didn't have the fruit for it. I asked for a refund and the girl working told me that they don't do refunds for online orders. I told her I was unable to get a refund on the website and she just told me she couldn't help me. I ordered a smoothie, and while it was made right away, it was left sitting on the counter while the staff moved on to prepare food for someone who had ordered after me. Even though my smoothie was already done, it wasn't handed to me until after they served the other customer. I then placed an order for a second smoothie and paid for it. After that, three more customers came in and ordered food and drinks--and the staff prioritized all of their orders before mine. To make matters worse, the employee then forgot about my smoothie altogether and started chatting with a friend who didn't even work there. When I asked if my smoothie was going to be made, she looked confused, turned to her coworker, and said, "Umm... did you make it?" I was the first customer in the store, yet I had to wait over 20 minutes while multiple people who came in after me were served first. So basically, I wanted a smoothie one today and found this place on Apple Maps. I of course also came across the recent reviews (not good). I looked past them, still decided to go. When I walked in, I swear bro at the cash register looked at my dead in the face, said nothing, and walked awayI'm like okay dude, I'll wait. He comes back to me, we go through the ordering process, I asked him how big is the large smoothie, bro says "well it's the biggest one we got" like dude...I need OUNCE REFERENCE. So I ask him how many ounces that is, and he finally coughs up the information I need. I go with the large, he whips it up hella fast (I'll give him that). Well on the way out, I seen the girl that worked there toss one of the other customers food to him on the counter (NO SHE DID NOT KNOW HIM), literally said "buffalo chicken?" Customer said yes, then I watched the food slide across the counter to him. Like you can't even hand someone their food??? Not too considerate service if you ask me...food is fine though, just be ready to deal with hella attitude. I ordered an açaí bowl today for my lunch and when i opened it when i got back to work i realized it's not even halfway full with açaí. This was supposed to be my lunch but it's like a kid size. I paid $12 for this and the amount of space in the bowl is insane. read more

We have been very satisfied with their wraps, sandwiches and smoothies until today. I ordered 2 smoothies, beach bum which is suppose to contain chocolate and my hubby was very disappointed when there was no chocolate in it and jetty punch which is strawberry & banana which also did not contain either of them either it was completely bland, tasted like thick pink water. Plus my chipotle wrap/flatbread was cold and tasted nothing like our regular order that we normally get each time we order. Either you have new untrained employees or your smoothie machines are not working properly. I called the cafe and a young man answered and says the manager was not in but I gave him my name & number and told him to have the manager call me. Hoping & praying he calls me. Not going back to this place until they can tell me what happened with our food & drinks today. Soooo Disappointed!!!!!! read more

This is always one of my favorite places to get a smoothie. This was my first time at this specific one and the service was quick. I also used my app to get points. I got my typical order of Jetty Punch. The inside was clean and the workers were friendly. I will definitely be back for another smoothie. read more

Great service by Jas, Vanessa and Karina. Friendly & Quick!! Clean location in a beautiful New Plaza setting. Great food (Jerk Wrap) and the smoothie was perfect (mango magic). Restrooms were immaculate, as well as, the eating area. Very clean. Very organized. GREAT LOCATION and owner ! I'm now a repeat customer. I usually order tropical smoothie from UCF location but was over this way. WOW what a disappointment the thai chicken wrap was. Before opening it, it appeared to be a flatbread bc was so flat. It had hardly anything in the wrap, was just thrown together. Sadly I got 3 for my family too. The worst wrap and waste of money. I called and nothing they could do and stated there is no manager ever on site for me to speak with. Basically out of luck. Wasted a lot of money and frustrated. read more

Tropical Smoothie Cafe is a wonderful stop if you're craving a smoothie and a quick bite to eat! I had the chicken pesto flatbread, which comes with a side of chips or fruit. I also had a blueberry bliss smoothie, which was delicious! Altogether for a filling sandwich, chips, and large smoothie my order was about $11 so not too bad! I would recommend this to fans of Jamba Juice, smoothie king, or any other smoothie chain :) read more

I preordered online two smoothies and a chicken wrap. It was to be ready by 3:21. I arrived by 3:28. The smoothies were waiting for me but no Wrap. No one even acknowledged me waiting at the counter. one coworker was working on smoothies while the rest were in the back chatting. finally after 20 min of just standing there did someone come out of the back. My wrap wasn't even made at all. By that time (3:50) I'm running behind on my schedule and will have to get a refund online. I would have understood more if I would have received any acknowledgment from anyone who was working. Even a "Hello!" would have been nice. Super disappointed. read more

This is a great place for a quick breakfast or lunch! The food is probably not going to blow you away, but it is definitely flavorful and much better than your typical "fast food". I live 5-10 minutes from this location, and once I order on the app, they food is always ready when I get there. Today I had the Southwest Chicken Quesadilla, with chicken, smoky cheese, peppers, onions, black beans, and a fantastic roasted tomato salsa on the side. Okay... I don't even know what to say. My boyfriend and I ordered online and went and picked them up. I've been to this location dozens of times and they've never failed... until today. I never even think of trying my smoothie before I walk out because of the trust I've put into the staff at this location. But that changes today. I haven't been to one of these in a little bit. But I was pleasantly surprised with how delicious everything was today! I had a pesto chicken flatbread and a Blimey Limey smoothie. It was so good. One of the worst customer service experiences I've had. I ordered a smoothie from the app and went to pick it up. Fifteen minutes after it was supposed to be ready, I asked about the smoothie. They ran out of an ingredient so they just didn't make it. No suggestions for substitution, no apology for wasting my time and money, no communication at all. When I asked further about what happened, the girl at the counter was very rude asking how she was supposed to know and shrugged her shoulders. The laziness and apathy is so prevalent at this location, I don't know how they stay in business. I haven't been back since then and probably won't until the store experiences a change in management. read more
