Jordan and I stopped by Tropical Smoothie Cafe and we simply loved it! They have such a big variety of options to choose from, whether you want something refreshing, healthy, or filling. I got the Sunrise Sunset smoothie made with strawberries, pineapple, mango, and orange juice, and it was absolutely delicious and super refreshing. One thing I really appreciated is that if you're like me and can't finish a full large drink by yourself, they'll split the large smoothie into two cups for you with no problem. Tropical Smoothie isn't my go-to for a smoothie but because of T-Mobile Tuesday I had a offer for a free one so I went. I'm a basic Strawberry Banana yogurt based girl and I never switch it up. Initially they use a water base (which is why I rarely come here) and I never find the smoothies too flavorful but I always add non fat yogurt and it makes it better. The drive-thru was pretty long and the online orders were consistently coming in. In my opinion I still got my smoothie rather quickly and the staff were all polite and helpful even during a rush. read more

I got home and it was filled with chicken so I called and the store and this girl proceeded to tell me chix was on it. I read her the menu and showed her it wasnt. Visited this place for the first time in over a year. And i didn't think it be possible but they are moving even slower than usual. That's understandable since no one wants to work for pocket change anymore. However the slowness actually doesn't bother me. It's the lack of customer service for me! I was not greeted not told, "I'd be right with you." It was like i was invisible. And i definitely was not. When the cashier finally acknowledged me, she just stared, no words. I've been to this place twice. The first time I was very surprised at how good the food was. Tonight I went back and they were serving only smoothies and no food because they only had two employees working. What?! I was the only customer in the place at 8 PM on a Sunday and yet they weren't serving food... it's a restaurant! There was no notice on the website when I went on it at 7:30 to see when they closed (9) and there was no sign on the door. Crazy and infuriating. Here's my other complaint. It's like they train their employees to be as unfriendly as possible. Seriously, both times that I went there they were grumpy. "MYA" was extremely rude and attempted to rush us through the drive through even though we were trying to decide what we wanted. Was very snippy asking "is that it?" "Pull forward" hell it made me feel like I was getting the food for free. Then the Bahama mama tasted like onions or something was put in there because the flavor was different than other times I've had it. Who knows. I visit the store at Montgomery Xroads almost daily. The line is long. Last I checked saying ""Hi", "Thank you" & "You are welcome" are not curse words. The service at Montgomery Cross Rd in Savannah is awful - many times I have been there to be told they can't make food orders. Last time they didn't have my online order ready even when I arrived 20 min past the promised time, then I waited another 15 min for them to make my order - and all of this with no remorse or apology. We sat in line about 20 minutes before we ordered. When we finally got to order, there was no kale salad Which is a pretty common occurrence of for this location. They also no longer sold the açaí berry boost which is understandable with the blueberry issue. But it was just another thing this location didn't have. We ordered two avocado cheese sandwiches and when we got them neither had bacon. It was just tomato spread and avocado with a tiny bit of cheese on both. i won't be returning to this location as they seem to consistently have issues stocking the food on their menu and my food I do get is usually wrong or missing something. read more

Friday June 21, 2024 I received the worst service I have ever experience. not only did I wait 15 mins before I was even acknowledged but the Manager on duty named April Mock called me a B**** before I pulled off. My niece and I went through the drive thru and was not acknowledged for 15 mins before my niece said "hello" and the gentleman said one moment please. Then I asked were they still doing the deal of a free smoothie with a purchase and he said yes so I place my order. Get to the window to learn it has to be done through the app. I asked for a refund and the gentleman went to get the manager and she immediately caught an attitude and slammed the window closed in my face. At this point I don't want anything but my money back because I'm not spending my money and receiving poor service. As she is handing me my money she trying to explain something and I tell her I'm not interested i hearing anything she has to say just give me my money. This place is either understaffed or mismanaged. We have gone there three times now and the wait has just gotten longer. Waiting on the drive thru line for 25mins, didn't move forward and decided to leave having 5 cars in front of me. Love the smoothies, but the long wait in the drive thru line just isn't worth it. This has been a problem in the past, and today I spent over 40 minutes in line in the drive thru (would've left, but I was blocked in by other cars). Wish they had the staff to efficiently manage the drive thru. It appeared that walk in customers were served immediately, so perhaps they should just close the drive thru if they cannot manage it. Food & smoothie is great! I work mobily, so I came in to use the restroom & it was clean. My only complaint is one of the staff members was in the bathroom vaping with the door open. I thought it was not occupied as I saw the door open. Then I get smacked in the face by vape smoke. I don't know her name but this was extremely unprofessional.
