Their foccacia breakfast sandwich was super satisfying! There was lots of avocado which I was pleasant surprised about along with crispy bacon. I found the small space to be a bit overwhelming, it was overcrowded and loud. Great for popularity but not the cozy coffeehouse vibe I was looking for.. I opted for to-go rather than my original plans of dining in. I found my interaction with the counter person to be a bit cold and rude... Although, my real feedback is based upon the delivery of my drink. I ordered off their special sheet, a winter citrus latte. My order seemed to be taking awhile and when my name was called, the barista simply said "this is just orange. I couldn't work with the winter citrus so I need to disclose that to you. " What does that even mean, and why wouldn't I given the option to change my order if what I ordered was no longer available? This visit was just an uncomfortable experience all around.

She made a not so pleasurable experience pleasurable!! When we were first seated at your restaurant for breakfast, we waited for 30 minutes, I must point out lots of tables open for people to sit at. Some were cleaned and some had multiple dishes piled up on the tables. But, we waited patiently for a seat- only to be sat way in the back in the enclosed patio part (not sure what that area is technically called back there) it was extremely loud from families with children screaming and crying and we were sat at a table across from where you have dog bowls with water in it. The whole area just smelled like wet dog and the noise was too loud. We asked our server at that time if we could be moved and she was very nice about it and expressed how she was Sorry that it was very noisy back there this morning and did not blame that we wanted to be moved. She brought us back up to the hostess area and explained to them about having us sit at a different table. It appeared as if the three other people that were standing around by the hostess area seemed confused as to why we wanted another table, we then were sat right by the bathrooms. Again, this was irritating as to why would they move us at the table right next to the bathrooms when there were plenty other tables that were empty for us to sit at. I asked to be sat at a different table and if that could not be accommodated, I wanted to speak to a manager. Your staff seemed a bit irritated but after about 5 minutes they sat us at a different table.... And then we met our lovely server Bridget!! I will say that our food was very good along with our drinks. We do come to your establishment quite often, and will continue to do so. But, I would be amiss if I didn't mention the above disappointment that happened that particular morning.

Jeremy was our server, and was friendly, knowledgeable, and handled my gluten allergy without batting an eye. The food? Our selections were off the chain. We started with the deviled eggs - extremely creamy; a little kick; topped with a crisp cornichon. We had 4 different varieties of oysters -- all perfectly chilled and served with both cocktail and a green sauce mignonette, with plenty of lemon. Now for the showstoppers -- I had the N'awklins shrimp and grits. Oh my! The shrimp were nestled on top of the silky cheddar grits, and blackened - seasoned beautifully and cooked just right - not mushy or chewy. But the star? The broth! Tomato based, the depth of flavor was unexpected, and so good, I could have eaten a bowl of just that. My husband had Cioppino, which I could not taste due to GF. His description -- the broth was rich and thick -- not like a typical cioppino broth. It was was chock full of seafood -- very hearty -- with mussels; shrimp; calamari; clams, and just a touch of heat. The bread was also a standout -- baked to order, and then charred. You may want an extra piece of bread, he wants me to tell you! Really -- go to Salty Mary's, ask for Jeremy, and stuff yourself silly. You won't regret it.

There is outdoor seating but it was chilly out and the vibes inside are cute and Instagram friendly, so we ate inside. There were 4 of us and we each ordered a different drink and a different crepe. I ordered the Hawaiian crepe and an iced matcha latte with oat milk. The other 3 ordered a dirty Chai, a regular Chai, and a brown sugar oat latte for their drinks and the chicken tuscan, Parisian, and the bacon avocado crepes. We were really happy with our delicious crepes but were mixed on our drinks. The crepes are huge and definitely worth the money! I can only speak for mine but I thought my Hawaiian crepe had a generous serving of ham and pineapple inside and the pineapple sauce was chunky and slightly spicy! For the two of us, my bf paid about $45. So the crepes were great but I'd like to mention a few things that bumped this down to just a 4 star experience. The limited time drinks didn't have the prices listed on their special menu. I think that, if they read this review, they should write the prices next to all items they offer. Also, they forgot to charge my bf for his crepe and didn't put in his order so the other 3 of us had our crepes for a few minutes already before he asked where his was. They apologized and whipped his up immediately so he didn't have to wait in line. They still had him pay at the end though. Oh well! And lastly, they ABSOLUTELY need better ventilation here - your clothes will smell like fried food until you get home and wash them! Don't wear something non-washable here haha. Anyway, I'd come here again if I'm in the area for a crepe or two!
