My roommate has been enjoying their cinnamon rolls since they opened. They feature different fillings, for example, blueberry. I've never come here because their cinnamon rolls are so large, my roommate shares with me and my sweet tooth is satisfied. Recently, I went in to pick up someone else's order. It was my first time in there and I found it cute, with lots of natural light coming through. I'm not sure if it were the owner working, but whoever the lady was she was incredibly kind and upbeat; she even let me try a ham and cheese roll up croissant that was coming soon to the menu. I ate it on the go. It didn't make a mess at all and it was very good! It had something sweet to it so it wasn't dry, with I think some poppyseeds. It was a really nice blend of flavors and textures. It'd been a couple years since I grabbed a treat from Kaylena Marie's of East Amherst. I'm happy to write the experience was very pleasant and the treats are just as delicious today! I stopped by on a Saturday around noon and was able to grab a parking spot practically right in front of the main entrance, but there's plenty of parking nearby thanks to the other businesses and stores nearby. I walked in and there were a few people dining in, plenty of tables to sit at . I really like the large windows, they lighten, brighten the interior and it's fun to sit, eat, and do some people watching. haha I noticed only one young lady working behind the counter, she was incredibly friendly, very warm and courteous - we chatted the whole time, she was so nice! So what did I order? Fall 2025, Kaylena Marie's re-introduced their "Specialty Rolls" with the big change being the size being "mini" compared to their normal cinnamon roll, which is HUGE. I have to say, I love the "mini" size, it really is the ideal size, pairs well with a scoop, or three, of ice cream. :) For the week of 11/18/2025-11/23/2025, the East Amherst bakery's "Specialty Mini Roll" was 'Mini Twix Roll', which is Kaylena Marie's roll drizzled with caramel and chocolate, filled with even more caramel and chocolate, then topped with crumbled Twix bar pieces and glaze. I ordered two, one for Saturday and one for Sunday. :) This roll reminded me how much I like a Twix bar, wow! The roll itself was soft, which the glaze, caramel, and chocolate only helped to soften even more. I suggest throwing the roll in the microwave for about 20 seconds to take the roll to a whole other level of deliciousness. The price for one "Specialty Mini Roll" is very reasonable, in my opinion, as it's a nice size and are fresh baked with great quality ingredients. Kaylena Marie's of East Amherst is a great café, still serving up delicious and gourmet food and treats. Plenty of parking, large, bright cheerful interior with friendly staff working. First, the good part: the cinnamon roll, which is the size of your head, it's very good. It's expensive, but literally it took up the entire bottom of the bag it was delivered in. And I love that they put the icing on the side. Now the bad part: ordered a egg and cheese sandwich with ham. The eggs were listed as scrambled on a roll. We got a block of overcooked eggs on half a piece of cold sourdough toast. We each try to bite before throwing it in the garbage; it was that bad. So go for the cinnamon rolls, which are great. Such a cute little bakery! The french toast with berries and nutella is delicious -- it's made their own bread that's so good. Coffees are always consistently good as well. Baked goods, like the peanut butter brownie and the cinnamon roll, are always amazing. Service is always quick, for takeout and dining in. For dining in, you order at a counter but get a number to keep at your table where they bring the food out to you. I was in the area and a giant cinnamon roll was calling my name. I cannot say enough great things about this spot. With it being right off of Transit, it is a great place to go when you want a pastry, coffee, or even a nice breakfast sandwich. Ok, back to the cinnamon roll. This thing is ENORMOUS. Like at least 2-3 pounds of deliciousness. And they don't skimp out on the frosting either. They coat this thing with some of the best frosting I have ever had. The space is bright and clean. The baked goods are pretty typical flavor-wise and I think they seem fresh baked daily. Everyone comes for the enormous cinnamon rolls, which are good. The individuals who run the counter aren't overly friendly but not rude either. I have eaten here on multiple occasions but decided to write today because of the artisan turkey sandwich. It's a lovely idea- slices of turkey, apple and toast with honey mustard and cheese with greens. In reality, the sandwich was messy from the sauce and large amount of melted cheese, and you don't get deli slices of turkey, but two thick slices hot turkey. The toast was perfectly crisp though. In my opinion, this sandwich would be much better with less sauce and cheese (though the flavor profile is right!), and with deli thin turkey- and due to the apples, I would think the sandwich would be better served cold, but maybe with thin turkey slices it would be different. Came for the massive cinnamon rolls I'd heard so much about, and they are indeed MASSIVE. Like enough to feed a whole family probably. Went with a few friends and we wanted to get the classic, but it was sold out, so we got the cherry almond cinnamon roll instead. It was drenched in frosting and incredibly sweet; it was hard to eat more than a few bites at once. I have a major sweet tooth but even this was too much for me. We definitely took 3/4 of it home. They do serve a bunch of other yummy looking desserts and pastries that are normal sized and probably not as intensely sweet as the cinnamon rolls, so I'd probably get those next time! Lots of GF options too which was nice bc my friend is GF. Interior of this place is really clean and bright, and there's a lot of seating in case you wanted to attempt to eat the entire cinnamon roll in one sitting. The workers are friendly too. They have $10 cinnamon rolls as big as your head, big cookies, big pastries, and small cheesecakes. I picked a salted caramel cheesecake. A little small for the price, $5 I think, but amazingly well made. I don't drink coffee, but they also have hot chocolate. I had the Leprechaun, a minty white hot chocolate. I met a friend for breakfast on a Saturday, and we decided to check out the new location of Kaylena Marie Union walking jn it is VERY cramped, and the tables are VERY close together. If you desire a private conversation, this is not the place for you. Folks were steady coming in with very little possibility of having a seat. The menus are at the front when ordering, so you have to go up to grab one and then go to your space and browse. Now, for the unpopular opinion or the critism I ordered a small white chocolate mocha latte. I was told they only have one size. The handwritten sign to the left didn't disclose a price. So, in placing the order, the cashier asked "Do you want Almond or Oat Milk?" I said "Almond" She then asked "with or without whipped cream." I said, "A little will be fine." I waited nearly 20 mins for my sandwich to come out, while my friend got hers fairly quick but wanted to wait as a courtesy ... it finally came out. Then the young lady brought my drink our a few mins later. The cup was half filled with a splotch of whipped cream. Something told me to look at my receipt The latte is $6.49 Almond Milk $.75 Whipped Cream $.75 I have NEVER in my life paid $8.00 for a cup of coffee. If you are gonna upsell, at least disclose the cost, but to mention it as if it is part of the cost and not disclose the additional fees is very deceptive to me. Anywho ... Aside from the half empty cold coffee The sandwich was pretty good. It was a thick cut of Turkey breast on a toasted bun with cheese, and it was delicious. Kaylena's location in Amherst has finally opened! We've been waiting for this for a while. So today we decided to stop in to check them out and naturally grab one of their signature cimanon rolls. Upon entering we say the tray was empty but then found out that a new batch was just coming out of the oven. Happy days! These rolls are huge. Love, trying new places when here with my cousin for breakfast. I got the breakfast sandwich. I actually did not care for the egg on the sandwich. The way they did it look like a giant hockey puck, and it really did not have any flavor. Homemade bread was decent and the fruit was very good. I also got a caramel macchiato, which was excellent. Stopped in this past Sunday, to pick up a few cupcakes, one for my friend, the other for my zumba instructor and a fudegy, delicious layered brownie shared with my boyfriend. I was in the area and stopped in to try these cinnamon rolls I have seen pics of. Sunday morning around 10am, no line and no one in the store. This location off transit is bright and clean with plenty of inside seating to enjoy some of your baked goods or coffee/espresso in the store. I ordered a brownie, cinnamon roll centers, and a huge cinnamon roll for later. Staff was nice and friendly, quickly packed up baked goods and out the door in minutes. The brownie is dense, rich, fudgy and is easily sharable. The cinnamon roll center was as described - buttery, soft and gooey with plenty of vanilla frosting. The cinnamon roll could easily be shared with 4 people, and I enjoy that they had the frosting on the side to place on later when heated at home. The cinnamon roll dough is buttery, light, with plenty of brown sugar goodness. The vanilla frosting is not overly rich with excellent vanilla flavor. Prices are very reasonable, and we will be eating cinnamon roll for days. Definitely stop in and try them if you haven't. read more

The frosting a little too sweet for me so I had to take some off but I would def get it again. I want to go back again and try other flavors. I pass by here every day on my way to work and never stopped in. Today that changed and I will 100% be returning and often. This place was hopping! I had no idea it was so well known! Super cute little sit down place, the food was fresh and delicious! The customer service was top notch. They explained each item to me and delivered them to my table. Food and treats were extremely reasonably priced. It's really nice to go into a place not only where the food is delicious but you can almost taste the love in the food. The highlight of this place was the cinnamon roll, which lived up to its billing as huge and delicious. In fact we had seven people take chunks of it to eat with breakfast and even had a little bit left over. Everything else ranged from OK to pretty good. The Turkey in the Turkey sandwich was a tad salty, and the over easy egg on my egg sandwich was over cooked. But you came for the cinnamon roll I'm assuming and if that's true, you won't be let down. What a pleasant surprise to find Kaylena Marie's of East Amherst open for business in the Northtowns. I popped in to see what the fuss is all about. There were several people enjoying baked goods and coffee both inside and on the sidewalk seated at tables. There was a bit of a wait as the lone server was creating specialty coffee drinks for someone. It gave me plenty of time to size up the offerings and decide what to take away and sample among friends. It didn't take long to recognize the (previously described to me by a friend) GIANT cinnamon rolls, oozing with icing. That was coming home with me, as was a slice of the almond ring. Those two items cost in the neighborhood of $17, so my expectation was pretty high. It turned out more of a womp, womp for me however, and that's just me - the cinnamon roll was far too sweet with all that inescapable icing dripping off it. Needed more lightness to the roll, more cinnamon and less sugary frosting. And the size was far too huge to be considered a serving size; it appeared each roll might have been baked in an 8x8 pan! The almond ring was just okay, not quite what I anticipated. I would consider coming here again one day, maybe sitting down and ordering coffee too. I won a gift card here from Step Out Buffalo, so I finally had time to come and try the food and I was not disappointed!! I'd been dying to try a specialty cinnamon roll, and the special of the day was Oreo. I couldn't believe how large the roll was; it was reminiscent of a small cake! It was expensive ($15), but since it was so large and a person could get more than one serving out of it, that price makes sense. This is an adorable little corner to pick up a pastry or savory sandwich! The parking was limited due to the blizzard snow mountains but it was well worth the hike. While the cannoli filling was delicious the breading was dry and hard making it difficult to cut with a butter knife. Of course, this is not something to eat alone or in one sitting. After letting it sit in the to-go box overnight the bread softened up making it a much easier dish to eat and enjoy. - Grilled Ham and Swiss ($14.00) Thinly sliced grilled Smokehouse ham grilled until slightly crispy, melted Swiss cheese, sweet and spicy mustard grilled, a special house sauce, on Kaylena's homemade Italian bread until golden brown. Served with a side of chips, this sandwich was absolutely delicious, however, due to the size, this dish is not worth ordering twice. - Cheese Danish ($15.35) [Seasonal] Filled with cheese Danish filling and drizzled with glaze. The season fruit of the day was Raspberry. The pastry was not dry like a typical danish but very dense and moist which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, I would return to pick up a pastry or come with a small group for a nice brunch but would not come for the lunch as the portion sizes are small. Excellent new bakery! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with the wonderful scent of freshly baked sweets and a welcoming atmosphere. The case is packed with different baked goods, all with different flavors and toppings. Front and center are giant cinnamon rolls, smothered in cream cheese frosting. They looked incredible, so I ordered one to take back and share with my family. It was still warm from the oven and weighed what felt like 5lbs. The cinnamon roll was extremely fresh and sweet and delicious! The amount of cinnamon was perfect, the cream cheese frosting was smooth and plentiful to have with every bite, and the roll basically melted in your mouth. Definitely large enough to share with several people. We split it into 4 pieces and it was still a lot for us to eat and be full. They also have special cinnamon rolls that change every day of the week.
