Meh. I've been here twice before when visiting the area. Those visits were great. This time though? Not so good. The "mimosa" clearly had no alcohol in it. When I asked the server if it did, she was like, of course!! But no. Then she gave me raisin bread when I ordered rye bread. Everything was just also very greasy. I won't be returning next time I'm in the area.

Stopped for lunch. Quaint casual dining. The menu is packed with pleanty of choices, making it hard to decide what to order. They are only open until 2 pm so get their early. This location is alot smaller than their, now closed, Clarence location. I think their biggest expense is for takeout containers because their portions are huge. I ordered one of their March Specials, the Reuben Platter. It was more than enough for lunch and dinner. It had all the components of a Reuben Sandwich but deconstructed, on top of home fries and topped with fried eggs. Only thing it lacked was a little salt. I definately recommend you eat here.

Went about 10 on a Sunday, there was no wait, but the place was packed and if we would have come a few minutes later we would have had to wait. It's a cute place with a camping like feel. The person I was with ordered coffee, they said the first cup was fine, but the second didn't taste as good. It took a bit for a refill as well, but the place was packed. They ordered The Lumberjack All Day Breakfast and thought it was great and would definitely recommend. Along with a side of Chocolate Chip pancakes. There were left overs since there was so much food. I got the Crunchy Griddle Toast, it was not actually crunchy though it was good. It was very filling as I only at about one and a half of the toast. Overall, I would recommend this place as you get a lot of food for the price and it is pretty good.

I was craving country fried steak so.... This is THE place to go! Crunchy breading, tender juicy steak, Lucious gravy and melt in your mouth biscuits. Can't forget the home fries. Won't have to eat till tomorrow! Never a bad meal here, great service and cozy atmosphere. Now I need a nap!

I rarely write 1 star reviews, unless warranted, but this experience was bad enough to warrant it. The absolute worst I've ever had We ordered a simple sandwich for my son and were brought the wrong item. Instead of correcting the mistake, the owner immediately argued that we ordered it incorrectly. After going back and forth, she said she would remake it--but only if we paid for it again because otherwise "she'd lose money." As someone who has been in the restaurant industry for decades, I understand costs--but this was clearly their error. Charging a guest to fix your own mistake is unacceptable. To make matters worse, much of the food we received was already cold. When I pointed that out, she suddenly offered to remake everything, which made the earlier argument even more confusing and frustrating. The entire interaction lacked accountability and basic customer service. In over 40 years in this industry, this was one of the worst experiences I've had dealing with a restaurant owner. Would not recommend.

I actually found campfire grill through Yelp, looking for a new lunch place to bring my kid where we would both be happy. Such a great time! Good vibe, and the theme is on-point throughout the place. Server was kind to my kiddo, and did not blanch at my kid playing with the creamers, etc. Breakfast portions looked almost comically large, and I look forward to coming back to try. Their lunch food was a perfect for what we wanted: tasty comfort food. Sandwiches were fair portions, with lots of options for what to eat. When we were ready to go, I asked that my kiddo's remaining drink be put in a to-go cup. They gave us a whole new cup, filled to the top. Genuinely a great experience.

The place is cute and reminds me of a country kitchen. The service was quick and friendly, checked on us and refilled when needed. The breakfast was typical the eggs and bacon were good, the potatoes tasted burnt but the grilled onions were yummy.

Fantastic food, great presentation. Service was outstanding. The ambiance is a feeling of camping, with the convenience of being in the neighborhood.

She took our order and we had our food within a short time. I ordered the Eggs-celent breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon, extra crispy hashbrowns and a biscuit. My husband ordered the eggs-celent breakfast with scrambled eggs, smoked sausage (which we specifically asked if it was spicy), home fries and a pancake. Then things took a turn. Our orders were mixed up...The order came out with the sausage on the hash-browns and the "bacon" and biscuit on the home fries. Not a big deal except the "bacon" was beyond burnt and was inedible. If I were a server I could not have served that to anyone. We swapped out ingredients so we each had what we ordered. The hashbrowns were extra crispy which was appreciated. Eggs were scrambled. The sausage looked great-but was spicy. Perhaps he got the chorizo instead of the smoked sausage. But who knows since the server did not return to the table. The pancake was good and the eggs were ok. The home fries and the hashbrowns both had some sort of funky seasoning on them but were cooked to our liking. We like to support local but we will think twice before returning here.

It's got a vibrant rustic-can, loud but comfy feel to it. The place looks cool inside and out, you just know this greasy spoon is going to have good food and it doesn't fail to provide it either! You can order anything and leave happy (from the apple pie to the pig, beef and chicken sandwich). On the menu, there's pig, beef and chicken items, even a fish fry. They're great for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with or without friends/family. Known for their BBQ, in a variety of flavors, it's simply finger-licking delicious! I like coming here for breakfast mostly, love me some good home fries and a juicy steak. First off, I was greeted and found staff friendly and efficient! You have plenty of options for seating .. dining area, front bar, back bar, even an outdoor patio bar. Although it is dive bar-esque, it was nice and clean (let's be honest .. some dives have a stench and stickiness that can definitely ruin your appetite, no matter how much you may love them). They have a set up for bands to play, as one was playing while I was there for their 2 year anniversary (congrats!). What was nice is although I could hear the band (it was playing in the back and I was up front), it wasn't over whelming me. I have eaten places where, no matter where you sit, it's extremely loud, and I appreciated that you had a choice here. Now onto the food: The food should have been doomed to fail; my tastebuds were prepared to eat sweet, buttery, syrupy French toast with a mocktail at brunch elsewhere. But wasn't hyped about the menu because of this (which is not dog and pony's fault .. I had to work and didn't have time to research where else brunch was available). I settled on the umami smashburger by a suggestion of my waitress. Now once again, could have been doomed to fail as I'm not a French fry person and my favorite cheeseburger is one I make on my own. BUT WOW their food blew me away and made me forget all about my brunch let-down. The French fries were fantastic and had a great seasoning on them! The smashburger was great to the last bite .. and I was NOT expecting to finish it as it was a really nice portion (I ate lunch now 10 hours ago and didn't need to eat again it was so filling!) but it was so dang gone good I sure finished it! Smoked cheddar .. chimichuri aioli ... kimchi bacon jam .. oh ya that bacon jam was EVERYTHING!! Thank you to the staff at Dog and Pony for making my long drive worth while!

I ordered the smash burger, my husband ordered the turkey sandwich. After we were waiting for our food for over 25 minutes, the server came over and said that he was just informed they don't have the turkey because they had an issue with that freezer. Ok, so my husband ordered the cheese steak because he was super excited for the bahn mi roll. My smash burger was alright, but the bread they use for their burgers remind me of those cheap buns you get from TOPS that just fall apart. The worst part was that they forgot the dog sauce on my burger, so I asked for the sauce, and THEY CHARGED ME FOR ASKING FOR SAUCE THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO ALREADY BE ON THE BURGER I ORDERED. My husband made sure to tell me after we already left because he knew I would have fought it and our already 1.5 hour long lunch date would have been longer waiting for the refund... He ordered the cheesesteak and the sandwich was so small, and the "bahn mi bun" wasn't even toasted which is a signature for bahn mi bread. He said the flavor was fine but nothing to rave about. The worst part, for me, were the French fries that came with both of our meals. They were soooo heavily peppered that they were inedible. We asked for ketchup to try to make them tolerable, and they gave us a pre-portioned small cup of ketchup... You serve french fries with most of your menu, why isn't there ketchup on the table?!? Overall, It was a nice place to have on senrca street which used to only have the blackthorn and franchescas, but I would not eat here again.
