Bacon Egg, and Cheese on a Kaiser Roll
    Jackie P.

I was staying at the Westin in Buffalo and was pleasantly surprised by their café in the lobby! Probably one of the best bacon egg and cheese sandwiches I've ever had. Another review had mentioned their coffee - it's fantastic! Service was fast and friendly and the café was very clean. Will definitely make it a point to stop here again the next time I'm in town.

Egg Sandwich "Gary style" w blueberry jam and hot sauce.. and a Breakfast Burrito Bowl

Randomly stopped in here for a quick breakfast. Tiny little up service cafe in the lobby of the Westin Buffalo. Friendly people working here, and the food was great. Ordered a cappuccino with the Gary Style bacon sausage and egg sandwich. They put blueberry jam and hot sauce on it, it was great. We also had the breakfast burrito bowl and pancakes, bowl was really good, pancakes were tinyyy, 3 for $11 is steep but we're still good. Nice place, tad pricey, but definitely recommend.

As a work environment: this place is A-OK. I can't comment much on the food; I just came here for a cup of coffee and some free wifi and stayed here for a few hours and was fairly productive. Jake's Cafe is located inside the Westin in the Delaware North building. The wifi worked well and the coffee was A-OK. I didn't eat anything so I can't comment on the food, but the menu had salads, sandwiches and burgers. The space was bright and had a large window to the street, so a decent place to go watch the world go by.

    Great downtown BUF breakfast!

Staying at the Hyatt and this was an easy walk - beautiful architecture along the way. Breakfast until 11 - lots of good to go's - yogurt, fruit, salads, breads/muffins/scones... but the made to order omelette &breakfast sandwich were great.

The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and effortlessly cool, the kind of place that makes you want to linger for hours with a good book and a great cup of coffee. My fiancé and I each ordered one of their specialty coffees along with bagels, and everything was fantastic. After a less than stellar experience at Tim Hortons earlier in the trip, Seven Hearts completely redeemed our coffee expectations. It was exactly the aesthetic and experience I had been searching for. What really made it special was how quickly it felt like a place I could make part of my routine. If I lived in Buffalo, this would absolutely be my go to coffee shop. Before leaving, I picked up a couple of honey sticks and a bottle of their house made lavender syrup to bring home. Now I get to enjoy a little taste of Seven Hearts, and Buffalo, with my morning coffee for a few more days.

Upon entering, no one greeted me, and I felt rushed while looking over the menu. When I asked questions, it felt like I was inconveniencing the employee rather than being helped. I ordered the blueberry lemon bar matcha and hoped the drink would redeem the experience, but it was disappointing. The flavor combination didn't work well in a matcha drink, and it left a strange aftertaste/coating in my mouth. I also specifically requested no dairy (asked for oat milk) yet it still came topped with cold foam, which upset my stomach. It looked cute, but for nearly $9, it wasn't enjoyable. I had originally planned to order food as well, but the overall atmosphere and interaction felt so uncomfortable that I decided to just take my drink and leave.

Little did I know I'd be coming into my favorite type of literally "everything"! Eclectic and vintage decor with absolutely perfect use of vintage and antique kitchen and table ware. A very interesting and fun repurposing of an old building/house. Very friendly, patient and helpful employees (apologies to the very kind woman at the counter, because when I'm excited I tend to chatter a lot). The baked goods were delicious, the whole grain toast was hearty and so full of flavor. The croissant was large, flaky and buttery. My husband's apple cake was moist and the frosting was perfect. I really enjoyed the coffee and since they don't grind the beans for you, I bought the bag of their signature blend then stopped at Walmart for a coffee bean grinder. I love savory for breakfast so I had 2 soft boiled eggs, ham, gruyere cheese, whole grain toast and pesto. When my plate came I was very pleased to see the vintage items used and some repurposed very cleverly. If the decor isn't your "thing"...make a visit for their food and coffee.
