Cosmo was hospitalized overnight here twice for having grand mal as well as focal seizures back in…read moreJanuary 2026. After tests and scans we found that he a very large glioma brain tumor, one of the biggest they've seen in a small dog (he's a morkie). Cosmo already has diabetes and heart disease which complicated things a bit. We met with both internal medicine, neurology, and oncology to figure out the best plan for Cosmo as his brain tumor is inoperable. He went on a bunch of new medication that would hopefully lessen the frequency of the tumors until we underwent treatment. After meeting with Dr. Spanos from Oncology-Radiation she went over many different treatment plans listing out the pros and cons of each in addition to letting me know any and every side effect Cosmo might encounter. These treatments were also sent to me via email which I appreciated so I could really take the time to sit down and think about it. After a lot of deliberation we decided to start CFRT radiation treatment on a 10 day plan. It means Cosmo would need to undergo radiation treatment for 10 consecutive days (apart from weekends) and would need to go under anesthesia every time. I won't lie, it was tough. Cosmo was very lethargic due to the treatment but Dr. Spanos team did a great job and were very patient with him even though he's a very nervous boy at the vet. Once he completed his 10 days of CFRT treatment we received a certificate, we rang a bell, and the whole team who took care of him came out to celebrate. I'm happy to say we've been slowly tapering off his medicine and have completely stopped taking the prednisone/steroid for swelling. Additionally, Cosmo is now 70 days seizure free and has been back to acting like his normal self prior to us learning about his diagnosis. He still plays, gets the zoomies, and loves his long walks. He just is on a tight schedule for his anti-seizure medication. I can't thank the team at GSVS enough for giving me more precious time with Cosmo. Everyone I've interacted with in the hospital has been kind, understanding, and willing to go the extra mile for my pup. We are so grateful! We go back for a follow-up MRI to examine the status of Cosmo's tumor towards the end of summer.

I initially came for an annual appointment after avoiding other veterinary practices because my previous experiences often felt rushed and transactional. I wanted a place that truly cared! not just about my dog, but about us. From the moment you walk through the door at Happy Tails, it feels like home. Everyone is warm, kind, and compassionate. The doctors take their time, answer your questions, and never make you feel rushed. You can tell they genuinely care about every pet they see. I also really appreciated that so much of their lab work is done in-house, so results come back quickly. A special thank you to Dr. Drotos and Dr. Woods for the incredible care and compassion they showed my senior dog during the last few months of his life. Their kindness meant more to my family than words can express. I almost never leave reviews, but if you've been searching for a veterinary practice where your pet will be treated like family, I can't recommend Happy Tails enough.

The Prince and the Pawper - AMAZING GROOMER AND ESTABLISHMENT a mere 4 days after horrible experience with another establishment.

We were told by another establishment last Wed (it's Monday) she would have to be shaved down to the skin in order for them to service us. The other establishment refused payment and handed me a wet shaking dog refusing to work on her, claiming she had knots in her hind quarters. THIS GROOMING SALON clearly knew how to groom our puppy in a mere 1.5 hours and were kind and honest throughout the process! I am aware with long haired dogs it is easy to get knots and happens frequently which is why we comb her daily, sometimes multiple times a day if wet outside. But irregardless there will always be some matt we miss or that happens on route etc. This doggie spa was nothing but amazing, fitting us in last minute and making our 7 month old Coton puppy beautiful and shorter to prepare for her spay this week. Unlike the other establishment who felt it necessary to slander and libel businesses that had nothing to do with them nor ever never serviced them (ex photography services served for newborn babies the past that have nothing to do with a dog groomer), THIS GROOMER was nothing but PROFESSIONAL. What a client does, did, or their personal business should have nothing to do with services being rendered, as it is completely irrelevant, and I am just so happy to report the kindness received from The Prince and Pawper grooming salon and store. I was not made to feel like I didn't have worth; I felt respected and valued which is extremely important. I have dealt with the worst unfortunately in the past, and my poor puppy was so traumatized last week with the former establishment, she had the runs when being groomed today, having to relive the trauma of being freezing and shaking and being forced to leave and denied service simply because we refused to shave our dog! (This was the prior establishment, not P&P!) Prince and Pawper has groomed other Cotons and knew how to deal with matts as they arrive. FIVE STARS FOR EXCELLENT SERVICE AND ACCOMMODATING OUR NEEDS. We will be clients for life! Kindness and respect goes a long way!
