Been here for a friend's kiddo's birthday celebration twice now. No issues with parking even on the weekend. Kids enjoyed the playground and splash pad. Decent shade from the trees throughout. Pretty lake with turtles. Multiple pavilions for parties (needed to be reserved per my friend). I didn't really get to explore too much, but what I did see (as mentioned) were enough for me to like this park. Oh, I did drive by a tennis court in here too.

Trotwood Park is a cool park in Winter Springs, Florida that has kind of a vibe that reminded me of a log cabin type chalet in the mountains. I do find the irony of that as Florida is probably the fattest state in the United States of America. So, I just Googled it and yes, Florida is the fattest state. The other fattest states are Illinois, North Dakota, Louisiana, Minnesota and Kansas. Honestly, I could see Louisiana, but Illinois as the second flattest? Even more surprisingly, North Dakota as the third flattest? I kind of imagine North Dakota as mountainous, but I guess not. Anyway, this is a very cool park with a great pavilion by a small lake. It has a children's play area, a fitness area, basketball courts and more. I also thought it was very cool with the bear sculptures throughout the small park. I was here on a Sunday morning and the only other people in the park was a police officer fishing with a guy and me. I wouod definitely recommend this particular park and I give it five stars overall.

The playground at Trotwood Park was renovated in the past year! The new structures have quite a few slides and things to climb. They've added new benches, swings, and cleaned up a lot of the leaves that were there previously. The trees are still plentiful and there is lots of shade! The splash pad was not renovated and is open during the summer months for a few dollars per person. I enjoy it because it has a bit of shade early in the day. (Many splash pads around town are in the direct sun) Bathrooms are conveniently next to the splash pad. There's also a new pavilion that is next to the tennis courts that is very large and has lots of picnic tables. Trotwood is one of my go-to parks in Winter Springs due to the nice playgrounds, abundant shade, and lots of tables and benches to sit.

Trotwood Park is a large green space with a large playground, tennis courts, basketball courts and soccer and baseball fields. They also have a fishing pier, nature trail, pavilions and picnic areas. The grounds are well maintained and clean. My grandson had an amazing time playing with the local children on the play equipment and feeding the turtles swimming in the lake. This is a fun neighborhood park with lots to offer. They are open daily from 7am to 8pm.

This park was recommended to me and it did not disappoint! It has plenty for the children and adults to enjoy. The playground is in new condition and quite large, there are two areas of swings, a splash bad (it wasn't on today), gazebos with tables, plenty of intricate seats to seat around the playground, an older kids exercise area, a tennis court, restrooms and a lake to see. The playground has squishy padding underfoot. The trees along with the canopies above the playground provide plenty of shade. The overall play ground is clean. There are parking spots on both sides of the park. We will return!

I have been to this park several times with my family. The most recent time I was their was for my son's Cub Scout Graduation he was graduating to a Webelo, I was so proud of my little guy. Ok so back to my review of Trotwood Park this park is pretty legit and truly lit . They have a huge playground area for all the kids to have all their adventures on, they also have a climbing area that you can climb like you were climbing Mount Everest. If you are @ the park on a hot & sunny day they have you covered with a splash pad area you do need to pay $3 to play in the splash area and it closes @ 4pm. If you were looking to get some reps in they have a fitness zone for all you exercise and training needs. They also have several pavilions for all you party need as well. You can also play some basketball @ the park because they have a outdoor basketball court. So in closing it's one of the best parks in the Winter Park area and in the Central Florida area as well I recommend it for everyone.

Cute little park. Several pavilions. Play ground for younger & older kids. Swing set, but I didn't see any infant seats. Basketball & tennis courts, soccer/football & baseball fields. Small boardwalk overlooking a small man made pond with turtles & ducks. A workout area is under construction. Bathrooms & a basic splash pad.

I loved this! Book exchange....take a book, leave a book.

Basically, a battle of the local rock and roll bands - a variety of different members from different bands come together on two teams for one day with a purpose to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Tickets are only $5, bring a foldup chair, 10x10 tent, a cooler and it's a great time watching all of our friends compete with one another on the field. Torcaso Cove Park is a great place to hold this event. There is a spacious field with plenty of space on the sidelines for fans. There are several parking areas available making parking easy for large events. There was plenty of space for a half-time show with live music right by the field. There were also a BBQ vendor and several other vendors on site selling food, jewelry, and other items. The park has a public restroom, a playground, splash park, sand pits, plenty of paved walking areas, a picnic area with tables, large pavilion, a beautiful bridge that crosses the heart shaped cove, the park has a bunch of Muscovy ducks waddling around and is dog friendly, what else can you ask for. Nancy and I really enjoyed our time at the park, we will definitely be back to bring our dog and take a nice walk. I just have to mention that it was a bit muddy on the field, even on a hot sunny day. So be sure to wear something you don't care about getting dirty.

There is also a splash pad, and I will openly admit to running through recently, as I chose to go on my run when it was over 95 degrees. The park is very clean, and well cared for, and it's right next to the Winter Springs Police Department, and on this day they had an event bringing awareness to autism; I was offered a popsicle and gladly grabbed it. I sat on a bench to watch a soccer match, while I finished my cold treat, stretched a bit, put on my weighted vest, waved to the ducks, and took off. Perfect park on a perfect day :)

Located between the three fields is a concession stand and the restrooms. What I really lived about this park is the three playground areas they have, each playground has their own set of things for kids to play on and a different theme for each area. They also have a swing-set area which includes a swing that you can sit in with your child and be able to swing together. There are also to pavilion areas for you to choose from one is called Oak Pavilion and the other is the Beach Pavilion which has two beach volleyball courts for you to play volleyball on which is a nice touch.
