Another plus, everything is CLEAN. I used to be a member of another gym that was rarely cleaned and their machines were subpar. Their locker/shower areas are decorated with modern tiles, and televisions look back at you behind the mirrors over the sinks. There are saunas and steam rooms as well. Like many gyms, you get a few complimentary training sessions a year. Vale restaurant has a small section when you walk in as well. I am quite pleased I joined Premier.

After explaining our situation & proving what we were doing, they reinstated his membership & all was well. Now, here we are again with a different regional manager, and a different club manager, questioning the same exact thing again. I tried to explain, but there was no listening. Now, due to the disrespect I've officially canceled my membership, and I will be letting my family and friends know to do the same. This gym could be so much better, but due to ignorance & assumptions, they lost a member. This kind of management behavior is unacceptable. So disappointed.

The manager Josh was extremely rude and not helpful. Avoid this place at all costs, you seem to get treated like trash if you don't fit their mold. Why am I being hounded for a fee that you've waived for other members? I was told to give my card information over the phone so they can charge me, and got nothing but sass and attitude from the manager. Extremely poor customer service seems to be the go to here.

It was life changing to say the least. I have learned so much! When I started, I felt very intimidated by the gym, I was scared to hurt myself and felt lost when I felt motivated enought to get myself into the gym. SST changed that for me completely! I have been away for about a month now and I just did an "in body" analysis and have continued to hit my goals by following what I have learned. I have gone back and checked in with my wonderful trainer by adding a-la-carte sessions and I am thankful for them. One of my LIFE/FITNESS goals was to do a pull up. After 2 years of back and forth and being told "this would be handled" I received a call from a law office regarding a collections payment & threatening my credit score. A collections payment that shouldn't exist due to in their own words the "negligence" of a manager at the location I cancelled my member ship at. To summarize, I canceled my membership when their location randomly decided to close a few short months after opening. The manager that was "handling it" did not unbeknownst to me. So I was confused when I kept receiving charges from Youfit. I blocked the payments, called an open location and spoke to a manager you said "they would handle" after making me jump through hoops to do so. YET AGAIN, a year later I am in the same position but with threats from a law office. I called again and after 3 weeks of communication and being told "it would be handled" what was the result: "You have to pay the fee or it's gonna effect your credit score starting tomorrow." Almost, like despite my calls and messages for the few weeks leading up to that conversation I was suppose to receive a call back and each time I called the manager was "busy." Only to be able to speak with me the day before it starts effecting my credit, like forcing my hand to make a payment on an account that was suppose to be closed but was not. Update (9.19.24) So after going back and forth with their team for a little over a year about their manager not canceling my member ship as requested (followed all the instructions he gave me) at their location that closed down on West Pensacola St. I have been informed that they can't do anything since it was sent to collections and because the incident happened to long ago. REALLY!!!! The reason this even started is because your manager at the location I canceled my membership at "dropped the ball," their own managers words when I first called to complain. I signed up with my fiancé a year or so ago at their Pensacola location. After a year of enjoying the gym, I would come to find out my location would be closing. They were offering easy cancelation for the inconvenience, and after speaking with the manager and following their instructions it appeared it was a done deal. For additional context I also closed the card that was on file. However months later I received a call from a collections agency stating that I owed them money! But how I closed my account. After speaking to manager at this location, I was informed that the manager of the Pensacola location had "dropped the ball" and did not do several tasks they were suppose to complete when exiting the company. I was expecting since it was on their end that it would be an easy fix, but I was unfortunately incorrect. I had to supply proof of my cancelation email, among other details. After providing that information I was told that they would work on resolving this issue. It has now been several months later and I'm still receiving calls from collection agency regarding this bill. The frustrating part is I worked for youfit several years ago, and I'm not sure what changed, but the focus on customers service and hospitality is levels below what it was as this would have been an easy fix by manager when I was employed there.

He says there are many similarities, though no treads and I can work at my own level. First visit is free, so I take the chance. Parking is bad. It is a pot hole laden lot behind the building. They have a large storefront that looks like it is closed. So go to the back and up the steps. Obese in, I find the guy in charge. Told him I was here for the class. He said I'd likely be the only one there so he would explain the work out. Great. The workout is written in chalk on the walls. Very cool. He runs through the workout with me and then, I'm on my own. Now, understand I walked in and knew I wasn't in a jazzercize class. I did not expect them to hold my hand. That being said, the guy that was in charge, did keep one eye on me. Occasionally checked on my progress. He corrected my form on a few exercises and was available when I needed him. I deducted a star for not ending the 'class' with a guided stretch and deducted a star for the advertising a class that really isn't a class. It's more of a workout guide that was really challenging but doable. When I think of a class though, I think of a bit more attention and someone motivating you throughout. Being I was the only one there, I understand why he continued to do his own workout...but, not a class. BUT...as I said in the beginning. This college town gym isn't looking for soccer moms that are looking to tone up. If I was a college guy or gal looking for a place that would challenge me, this is perfect. AND, I would go back!
