Also, there is a grass area where you can use your own tees. I admit this driving range is nothing fancy, but it's fun to go hit some golf balls here. Furthermore, you can buy a small bucket of balls for $6 and a large bucket for $9. I think these prices are fair. In addition, the Route Fore offers lessons and a golf simulator. While both are nice, they are quite expensive. As expressed, Route Fore is nothing special, but it's a fun driving range and it's great for casual golfers.

Two holes later he came back and followed us for an entire hole, as anyone who is new to the sport knows when someone is tailing you it makes the experience horrible. Then he continues to come back after another hole and tells us to move faster!!Most people who play shoot over 100 so there is no need to be following and adding pressure to new golfers. You would think they would want more of the youth involved into golf to promote the course more but this country club does not care about the public or new golfers. There are also a lack of bathrooms on the course (porta-potty) that makes it very challenging for women golfers, I would expect one every three holes at the least. Other courses have been able to do this. Why would you advertise that the course if open to the public but when new golfers play there there is a tremendous amount of pressure being applied to make them speed up? This makes no sense to me. If you care so much about your members then make it a private course. I will be talking about this experience to many of my fellow golfers and make sure they do not have to deal with this type of environment while golfing. Obviously this country club lacks vision from their higher management, good luck being open in 10 years. This is the first and last time I will be playing at this course.

The course is very nice, the greens were watered and nicely kept. The majority of the holes are Par 3 and the course isn't very hard so it's good for people just trying to have fun. The course can get busy so I suggest going during the weekdays during the afternoon. The holes aren't very long so you can definitely walk the course if you want. The price is a bit expensive, it's $27 for 18 holes on weekdays. All in all, Mill Road Golf Course is a solid course and you can stop at Otis and Oliver's for a bite to eat after a round of golf.

Apple had the steak, topped with a burgundy sauce, same mashed and beans. The meat was a bit dry but he ate everything. I had the parm, of course. Anyway, it was eggplant, thinly sliced, pressed into a lasagna almost, topped with a beautiful thick layer of flavorful, gooey cheese, a bit crisp on the edges, and a rich red sauce that was better than just about any I've ever had. The rigatoni on the side was boring, as was the presentation, but this parm was perfectly assembled. Wow. OK this is a review of a special event, but let me tell you, the parking is ample, the grounds are spectacular, the space is lavish and beautiful, the staff were courteous and kind and professional (x5). We ended up renting a bay, and the balls were included, but no one brought us additional balls - we assumed because it was a timed rental, the balls we're unlimited, but we left still not knowing the answer. It was nice to be under cover and out of the sun though. The bays have heaters for the winter but they should definitely have fans for the summer as the space is closed on 3 sides, all air flow is blocked. The greens are kept a little slow, likely to maintain conditions and playability as one can see how the course could easily be tightened to challenge even the more accomplished of players. One word of advice - do yourself a favor and take a cart here, as there's a lot of up and down and considerable distance between many of the greens and tees. If you're more than a 20 handicap, you'd be better over on the other side of the kill at Normanside GC, which is a much easier tract. One extra bonus - an excellent 19th hole restaurant/pub awaits to welcome you at the completion of your round.
