We were visiting from out of town and always like to find something that is different than what we can find back home. This place did not disappoint for brunch in all the best ways. Princess, the hostess, was such a gem. Have my daughter a skin care gift and told her she had a sexy mom . Offered to give us the senior and children's prices but after a tremendous Korean inspired brunch with an amazing view and such kind staff, we just couldn't do it. Kimchi, eggs, and crab and scallion pancakes with coffee?? Amazing. The best part, is the restaurant is on a defunct golf course that has been turned into an international sculpture garden. Tour is normally $4, but Princess let us walk the trail for free. We spent hours there eating, walking, taking pictures and joking. Best part, my family thought I was a hero for finding such a cool place. Total for several hours of food, fun and amusement was $54, which absolutely cannot be beat! I wish we lived in the area because I want to see Princess every Sunday!

We had to double back for the sundial, be sure to pay attention.

A hidden gem right in our backyard. Although we didn't take part in the buffet, the food looked and smelled good. There is indoor and outdoor seating. We met the owner (I think), who was very helpful and polite. He explained the trail to us, and even redirected us back to the sun dial. There is plenty of parking. There are fees associated and they are only open on weekends, check website for additional info.

A plate food of amazing food!

Food is unique and varied. Service is ok and ambiance is appropriate. Price is reasonable for a brunch in this environment.

To start this review I am a slow golfer and am new to the game. After the 3rd hole the…read moregroundskeeper/warren came to us and told us we need to pick up the pace because there were members of the course behind them. Two holes later he came back and followed us for an entire hole, as anyone who is new to the sport knows when someone is tailing you it makes the experience horrible. Then he continues to come back after another hole and tells us to move faster!!Most people who play shoot over 100 so there is no need to be following and adding pressure to new golfers. You would think they would want more of the youth involved into golf to promote the course more but this country club does not care about the public or new golfers. There are also a lack of bathrooms on the course (porta-potty) that makes it very challenging for women golfers, I would expect one every three holes at the least. Other courses have been able to do this. Why would you advertise that the course if open to the public but when new golfers play there there is a tremendous amount of pressure being applied to make them speed up? This makes no sense to me. If you care so much about your members then make it a private course. I will be talking about this experience to many of my fellow golfers and make sure they do not have to deal with this type of environment while golfing. Obviously this country club lacks vision from their higher management, good luck being open in 10 years. This is the first and last time I will be playing at this course.

The club house is really gross and out of date. I can't believe this place can survive another year, they must be on life support. No rangers, no staff on the course. I played it in 5.5 hours yesterday, just the worst kind of golf, slow, overpriced and in poor condition. Nice job. You suck.

There are others just like me: practical shoes, really really nice (yes, it's true, even if I cut you off in traffic), and we actually give a shit about most things. For instance, I care about food, like, obsessively thinking about it. So though the speeches were great, and the decor grand, my luncheon with the other librarians yesterday had me mostly focused on the sit down meal that I expected, like most of these shindigs, would be small, tasteless, lukewarm, wilted and overcooked. Like wouldn't it be nice if I looked forward to a GREAT meal instead of thinking the worst, for a change, hmmmmmm??? OK I was wrong, but read on. The starter salads were romaine free because of the recent e coli outbreak. Kudos. Nice creamy balsamic dressing, colorful, fresh. The rolls were sourdoughy, warm and fragrant. Red had a chicken dish rolled around a bread stuffing covered in a rich gravy topped with dried random cranberries, good mashed, perfectly cooked green beans. Apple had the steak, topped with a burgundy sauce, same mashed and beans. The meat was a bit dry but he ate everything. I had the parm, of course. Anyway, it was eggplant, thinly sliced, pressed into a lasagna almost, topped with a beautiful thick layer of flavorful, gooey cheese, a bit crisp on the edges, and a rich red sauce that was better than just about any I've ever had. The rigatoni on the side was boring, as was the presentation, but this parm was perfectly assembled. Wow. OK this is a review of a special event, but let me tell you, the parking is ample, the grounds are spectacular, the space is lavish and beautiful, the staff were courteous and kind and professional (x5). A venue that would be lovely for any special event. Zena, Goddess of Fire (wearing her cool shoes)

Staff were busy trying to get the 3 different choice meals out to the crowd of 200, but by the time last of the group ate, the first people were sitting twiddling their thumbs. Maybe more help would cut down the wait time for the entire crowd. While friends thought the food was good, I was not impressed. My roast beef appeared to be sliced lunch meat with jar gravy on top. The green beans at least appeared to have been freshly steamed (cool when they arrived). Our dessert was cheesecake. (Friends said I make a better dessert.) That being said, to be sociable, I am sure I will return if it is again scheduled for this club.
