We were greeted at the door by security who checked me (husband) for weapons and contraband. Doing his job . We went in and found the hair who showed us your table ( wasn't too busy at 9 pm) . The show started at 830 promptly so we missed some. The performance was top notch as the band sounded great and the singer has great vocals. He sang a variety of songs from John Legend, Marvin Gay, and other classics. Did them all justice . We got some chicken from the food truck outside and it was pretty dang good . Not too expensive but not cheap either. We ordered drinks from the bar (great pours). I ordered a whiskey and rocks and she had vodka and cranberry. They were serving in plastic cups but gave me glass for some reason and I had to leave my ID to keep the glass. Guess people steel glasses. We enjoyed the show that lasted till 11 or so and then a DJ ramped up to finish the night. That's when a different crowd started entering and the building got quite a bit busier. We hid around until 12 and then headed out. My wife and I were dressed for a grown night out as that is what the flier says. However, I could have worn jeans and tennis shoes as that's how most were dressed. We had a great experience and will come back again.

So on the way, I texted and requested the password. After a brief search and knocking on several doors, I realized the entrance is behind the restaurant in its own small parking lot. Look for the green light and avoid searching around like a weirdo, like me lol. Once inside, I found the interior is cozy with seating for couples, small groups and bar seating. We asked the mixologist to put his own spin on old fashions and he delivered. I'm addicted to the spicy cinnamon version that he created! The quail pops were a nice little appetizer although they could have used a bit more seasoning. I think the drink and app prices were very reasonable. Service was laid back and friendly. My only reco would be to maybe put a bit more thought into the vintage decor and secret restroom. The restroom lock was hard to figure out, especially after a drink or two lol. Overall this Speakeasy is a great spot to add a bit of intrigue to your evening.

Morrissey hadn't graced San Antonio in over 10 years, with past cancellations and postponements haunting fans along the way. So when he finally returned, San Antonio Moz fans showed up and showed out. Despite multiple after-party options across the city, fans from Brazil, the UK, Canada, Japan, and all across the U.S. chose Bang Bang Bar as the place to be on a cold Saturday night. Hosted by local emcee Ricardo Moz and Apollo DJ, the night turned into one for the history books. Bang Bang Bar is easily one of Texas' best dive-lounge bars...the perfect blend of gritty and cozy. Great cocktail program, solid beer selection, and a vibe that just works. The décor leans heavy into a 1950s-60s lounge aesthetic, with intimate spaces like the Blue Room and Yellow Room, perfect for groups of 7-10. Low lighting, warm atmosphere, and zero pretension exactly what you want for a night like this. Bang Bang Bar consistently supports local and touring acts, spanning punk, alternative, and DJ-driven nights, and this Moz Smiths Disco was no exception. It was wall-to-wall classics all night long. Major credit to Phanie and the Bang Bang Bar management they rolled up their sleeves, brought in extra bar staff, and handled an overwhelming crowd like pros. Fans waited up to 45 minutes in the cold, with a line wrapping around the building, and the energy inside never dipped. As the host of Panic On The Streets, I'm incredibly thankful to Bang Bang Bar for helping us pull off one of the best after-parties we've done in years. Fittingly, 2026 marks the 10-year anniversary of both Bang Bang Bar and Panic On The Streets of San Antonio and what a way to celebrate. Bang Bang Bar has long been one of my favorite bars in town, and after this night, that reputation is more than earned. Can't wait to do another Moz Smiths Disco here. -- Panic On The Streets of San Antonio

The Texas sun, however, was doing its absolute best impression of the surface of a star that day, and we were desperately seeking an oasis of air conditioning and fine spirits. We stumbled upon your establishment, and I'm now convinced it was less of a coincidence and more of a divine, thirst-quenching intervention. The positive experience started before we even breached the doorway. The security guard out front wasn't just a guard; he was more like a friendly ambassador to a better, cooler dimension. He greeted us with a genuine smile, not the usual stony-faced glare that makes you nervously try to recall if you've done anything illegal in the last 48 hours. As we stepped inside, we were greeted by the owner herself as she was on her way out. She actually stopped, smiled, and welcomed us in. In this day and age, it's not every day the head honcho takes a second to greet a couple of random, heat-stroked travelers. That single, classy gesture told us everything we needed to know. And we were right. The inside is impeccable. It's the kind of place that makes you feel a little more sophisticated just by being there. The bar staff are basically wizards; true alchemists of alcohol who are not only incredibly friendly but are clearly masters of their craft, slinging drinks with an effortless cool. Now, let's talk about the main event. As someone sitting here back in the Coachella Valley, I am practically weeping with jealousy. I wish we had bars like this! The fact that I have to get on a plane for this kind of experience feels like a crime against humanity. Do yourself a favor and order the Deep Eddie Pineapple. Don't ask questions, just trust me. It's like a tropical vacation in a glass, and it might just change your outlook on life. You'll want to send me a thank you card later. Don't. Just buy another one and toast to my excellent advice. A huge thank you to Morgan and the entire team for a truly memorable night. You didn't just give us a drink; you gave us a highlight of our trip and a fantastic story to tell!
