can't say enough good things about my experience with JustDryBasement. From the very first phone…read morecall, everything was top-notch. I had contacted several companies before, and honestly, most made me feel like I was bothering them. But when I called JustDryBasement, Susan answered--and she was incredibly professional, kind, and helpful. That first impression already set them apart. She connected me with the owner, Elliot, who has been amazing from start to finish. We worked together on three separate projects, and in every one, his quality of work and professionalism truly stood out. First project: Elliot installed a French drain in my basement and noticed damage to the walls, so he recommended and installed a special polyester wall barrier. He walked me through the entire process with patience and clarity. I waited a full year before writing this review, just to make sure everything held up--and I can confidently say, even through heavy rains here in Medford, NJ, my basement has remained dry. His work speaks for itself: solid, clean, and reliable. Second project: I still had high humidity in the basement, so Elliot suggested and installed a whole-house dehumidifier (AprilAire E100). He connected it directly to the French drain system, so I no longer have to worry about emptying water or dealing with moisture. It runs efficiently and quietly--even when I'm traveling, I have peace of mind. Third issue: Recently, I had water flooding in the finished part of my basement. I thought it was the water heater, but Elliot offered to stop by just to help figure it out. And he did--within two days, exactly as he promised. He quickly diagnosed the issue: it was actually the AC pump, not the water heater. Thanks to his advice, I was able to get the original installer (under warranty) to fix the problem. Elliot didn't have to help with that, but he did anyway--because that's the kind of person he is. Beyond his technical skills, Elliot is honest, communicative, punctual, and just a genuinely good person. He always followed through on his word, showed up on time, and took the time to explain everything clearly. Even when I had concerns, he didn't brush them off--instead of just talking over the phone, he came in person to give me peace of mind. I also want to give a shoutout to his partner Phillip, who was also fantastic to work with, and again, to Susan, for being so welcoming and helpful from the start. After working with this company three times, I can honestly say: I highly recommend JustDryBasement to anyone looking for quality, professionalism, and peace of mind. Their prices are more than fair for the level of service they deliver. It's rare to find people in this field who truly care--and I'm so glad I found them. Thank you, Elliot and team!

All this happened 6 months after we purchased the house. BWS excavated, added pipes, a new, bigger, more powerful sum pump, and a window basin. They sectioned off the rest of the house, and performed the entire job in two days. They cleaned up pretty well too. I'm happy to say 6 years later, no matter the weather, we haven't had one problem related to water proofing. They offer a lifetime guarantee of the work.

They charged premium price for an claimed two-day project ($12K for 68 feet) but finished in less than a day. I thought they would make the price worth and could be trusted. On the day of the installation, the crew team they sent was nothing like the sales team. No person can speak English well enough to communicate. Due to the language barrier, what was delivered (the crew team) and what they promised (the salesman) were different. They promised to lift the vinyl floor so I can install them back but cut them and threw them away instead. They promised that I can put the cut metal studs back in place but threw them away instead. When I tried to communicate to the crew these discrepancies, all they can do is to shake their heads. When I asked about the metal studs to the office again, I was told no, I cannot put them back. Now I am left with a big mess. I don't think the service delivered is worth the premium price paid. I wish they had a person that can speak English on the day of the installation. The crew team apparently are not part of the family of the family-owned business. We have a radon system. The level of the vacuum of the radon system is less than before the installation. I tried to explain to the crew guy but did not successful. I think the sealing is not as good due to the French drain. Be aware. Also, the agent Candace who sold me the contract kept lying about having shown me pictures while she clearly did not at all. Then she said Dean (or Dane) must have shown you the pictures (we got a quote from them previously but did not move forward). She also lied that she did not know I have metal studs while I have explained to her (and to her crew team) that my glass fiber wall panels are attached to the metal studs with magnets (she even told me to remove the wall panels and trim from the metal studs a few days ahead of the installation day and now told me she did not know I have metal studs). When someone is lying in your face, that is a red flag that you should not ignore.

That had a Main Line Waterproofing large sticker on it. This car drove quite recklessly throughout Montgomery ave. They tailed me, cut off a car, and then proceeded to cut me off too. Montgomery is known to be a busy street with lots of road work in the morning, so you should plan ahead to leave earlier rather than put everyone on the road in danger because you're late or maybe just because you're impatient. I have no way of knowing if that person works for the business or just supports the business, but either way it should be known that it's not a great idea to promote a business on the same car that you use to aggressively cut people off.

James at Mainline Waterproofing was absolutely fantastic to work with. Extremely communicative (responded in real time to me on text and emails), quick scheduling, knowledgeable and professional. I felt so confident they would do the work correctly. We weighed the pros and cons of several options and they didn't pressure us into doing more than needed. Ultimately we put in a second pump/pit and window well drains. James also introduced us to a general contractor he knew (who has also been fantastic/communicative/speedy!). They coordinated on the work, visiting the job site together, making us even more confident. My biggest thanks to James, Herb, and the rest of the crew.
