I was excited to experience a combination of flavours I have never felt before. Upon popping the straw into the drink, taking my first sip, and savouring the flavours, I noted a strong black sesame aroma fill my mouth. Knowing there was salted egg in this drink, I waited for the distinct egg flavour to reach my palette. And then it hit me. The golden egg flavour accompanied by chunks of ice washed into my mouth. I distinctly remember feeling surprised and curious how this combination worked so well. After multiple sips, I was halfway through the drink. It was then where the black sesame took over the drink. I wasn't able to taste any salted egg anymore and I was disappointed. Maybe there wasn't enough salted egg to begin with, maybe I drank it all in the beginning, but after this point I felt sad. If they were to ensure the drink would have a balanced salted egg to black sesame ratio throughout, this would've been an amazing drink. I still recommend to try this though.

There are a few small tables only, so most people order for take out. Do expect a bit of a queue, but it's worth it! They have a big menu, and amazing options. They use a jam made in-house and the cheesecake layers are the original cheesecake. It all meshed together nicely and I appreciated that it wasn't overly sweet. They recently changed the packaging for these and I do think it's cuter than the previous packaging. My one other thing I need to mention is the sticker they use on the packaging. It doesn't not come off easily. You need to peel it off to open the container and the sticker just comes apart and leaves behind residue. You know what I'm talking about lol. It doesn't just smoothly come off and is hella annoying. The original cheesecake is on par with the other big players like Uncle Tetsu and Supermoon. Taste and texture is exactly what you'd expect. So it's nice to finally have this option in the Oakville area. They have a loyalty program where you can buy 6 cheesecake and get the 7th for free. So make sure you get your card and stamp! The inside of the store was surprisingly clean even with all the snow and salt outside. It's really spacious so there's lots of space to wait and a good amount of seating on the side bench. The offer free wifi and have a lot of outlets on a back seating back so you can probably get some work here too. The big windows let in a lot of light giving the place a really nice open vibe. There were two tearistas working and they were both really nice. One was walking a customer through all the ins and outs of bubble tea since it was their first time getting it, which was really sweet. They were really nice when helping me as well! I got my order to go and they packaged my waffle and tea together in a paper bag. There was a drink tray inside the bag to ensure my drink wouldn't tip over. I grabbed a hot pearl milk tea at 50% sweetness. It was super sweet! I was kinda surprised. Luckily the tea flavour was very intense as well so it ended up tasting really good. I also had an original bubble waffle which I think was vanilla flavoured. It's not quite the same as the HK style egg waffles. It was sweeter for sure. It was golden brown and perfectly cooked! I've heard that if there's a lot of people, it can be quite a wait for the waffles but it'll be worth it!
