My wife and I stayed at the Tru by Hilton in Denver, PA; checking in on October 23rd 2025, checked out on October 26th 2025. This hotel is very nice, modern, clean and looks practically new. I asked the staff if this is a newly built hotel and they explained that "No, it's been here a few years". Well I must say it's very well maintained. The lobby, eating and reception areas are big and the decor is fun. It has a mural with an Amish painting that matches the area's vibe. The pool is clean and heated. It has a Gym which we didn't use. Laundry room as well. Huge plus for us, it has EV charging stations for 6 vehicles. Plenty of parking space and handicap spaces as well. This hotel has 4 floors. There's two sizeable elevators to take you to your floors, and they're pretty quick too. Our room is spacious, has a mini fridge, and lots of outlets, it lacks a closet but it has plenty of hooks to hang the clothes. The 55" TV is large for a hotel room, it has Netflix, Apple, SiriusXM, etc.. Our King size bed was super comfortable, the pillows doesn't hold the shape and/or form it goes flat easily, I had to ask for two more extra pillows. The bathroom is enormous considering the size of the room. It has plenty of toiletries and towels. the shower has excellent water pressure and gets hot quickly. Our room and floor was nice and quiet. The true star of this establishment is the staff, they shine though and through, extremely helpful, amiable and professional. Amanda in housekeeping was very helpful in inquiring to our needs. Becky, Vanapoli, Lori and Vienna in reception were friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this Tru by Hilton in Denver, PA. I guarantee you will have a fun, safe and amazing stay with these folks.

This is my first time staying at Tru and to be honest I didn't even know there was a Tru. My Season Saints Ministry trip landed me there this weekend. We were welcomed by a friendly lady at the door with all of our room keys. There was water and snacks waiting for us in the lobby along with a beautiful welcome sign. The next day, while we're having breakfast, the same lady was there making sure everything was good for us but she was dressed pretty casual. I later found out that she had the day off but came in to make sure we needed nothing until we departed for our excursion. Her name is Linda Lovenstein, General Manager, director of Sales and Marketing. What dedication!!!! She also made sure I got credit for my stay on my HH membership. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are beautifully decorated with a classic chic flair. They do have a fridge but not a microwave. There are no closets and plugs on one night stand but plenty plugs around the rooms for all your electronics but you can't plug your phone near you. Sandy was wonderful in helping us during breakfast! Thanks Linda and Sandy for making Morning Star feel so welcomed!!!

Pleasant, helpful staff. Always very clean. Good breakfast, nice workout room. Convenient location to shopping, historical sites, local park, places to eat but still not in the middle of crazy city traffic. Really nice lobby with things to do, big tv, places to eat food brought in, games to play. Been here several times and will be back.

This is a nice reasonably priced modern hotel that is clean, great front desk staff and good breakfast. Check in was easy and I appreciate being checked in earlier than 3pm. The lady who checked me in was absolutely a sweetheart I loved her positive attitude and she accommodated my request for a room that was away from all the commotion as I had to study. Breakfast is good as well and the rooms are clean only thing I saw was some strands of hair in the bathroom but nothing bad though it's just my OCD haha. Best thing you can bring your fury friends with you as pets are allowed. If back in the area, I'll definitely stay here again.

The site is clean, quiet. Nice windows with a view. The breakfast is great. For business travel, when a receipt is needed.. if you book and pay for it online, you will be told the front desk will not provide a receipt. However, if you book online and pay at the hotel, let them know they are able to provide a receipt. Because when you call later and ask, you may get cut off in mid conversation. That's my experience.. you have a better one. I'll give it three stars.. last impression wasn't the best impression

We stayed at this hotel for 6 days, and we loved it! It's new, nice, clean, and trendy! The staff was very friendly and helpful. It appeared that the staff was multitasking, so please be patient with them. We were happy that they offered breakfast here and it was good. We will definitely stay here again on our next time visiting Denver, PA.

Showtime is free, app wouldn't open to use!

We have never had an issue with Red Roof in the past. The staff was decently nice, the room was refurbished, but the place STUNK of WEED! Now, we dont care if people smoke, but this stink was pungent and kept coming into our room. It was so bad that we had to go to the store to get air freshener, and used a towel to block the bottom of the entry door, but it still came through. We all slept rough as neither of us experienced having to sleep through this stink even when we were in college. This was awful. If the Management of this place cant control their visitors from smoking, they need to figure out a way to vent this out. Thanks to this experience, I doubt my wife will ever let me book a Red Roof again. If it weren't for the weed issue, I liked that they allowed one pet for free, the location appeared safe, and the room was decent (though it could be cleaned better and have permanently unstained sheets).

The clerk adamantly declared checkin was at 3pm and refused to allow us to check in at 1pm unless we paid an extra $30. Upon checkin the clerk refused to give us more than one keycard even though there were three of us. The room clearly had not been cleaned as the pillows and towels were stained with makeup. The pièce de résistance? At 11am, on the dot, as we were leaving, management knocked on our door to ensure we were checking out. Never before have I been so micromanaged.

We drove almost 12 hours and arrived around 11:30 pm. Upon arrival was told there was a $100 deposit that when booked (on Priceline) didn't list this clearly and was a surprise, as we had already booked and payed for the stay. We get to the room and begin trying to settle and the room is absolutely filthy, the hallways reeked of Marijuana, no smoke alarm, there was mold, and cracks in the sink. Spoke to Priceline and they advised going to the front desk and seeing what they could do, which I did. We were told they could only move us for this one night and that the following day we would need to move to yet another room (yes, 3 rooms in 2 days). We get to the 'new' room and it is not much cleaner. We get to bed around 1:00am and the guests staying were incredibly loud, there were trash truck noises, etc. We ended up getting up at 5:30am and per advice from Priceline, we checked out around 6:30am. What followed after was an entire day of myself and Priceline battling to provide me a refund for this stay. The property was unwilling to provide refund, and Priceline said they could refund the rest of the stay (3 nights) but not the first night. I replied that given the fact we were there around 6 hours and left on the conditions we did, that we should not have to pay for any part of the stay. Priceline ended up providing a 20% coupon in addition to the rest of the three night stay refund as the property had to provide authorization for the refund of the first night and absolutely refused. I soooooo would not recommend this place or any other Red Roof facility in the Lancaster area. We have attempted 2/3 Red Roof locations in the area and all of them have residents that disrespect property guidelines and regulations to say the least (loud, smoking, drugs, asking for money, etc.). Ended up going to the Days Inn on Eastbrook Road in Ronks and it was MUCH BETTER!
