Upon walking in the hotel over all look is a cute boutique style hotel. The lobby is bright and fun with lots of family friendly activities. When we arrived to our floor they were doing air duct cleaning which was not mentioned on the website upon booking. We had to step over tubes and cords to enter our room. When I got into the room the floor was not cleaned there were Cheetos and dirt. When I asked the housekeeping staff they came in my room said "yeah we're busy so that's why it's there" uummmm? Not really an excuse for a dirty room. They came and swept Cheetos but didn't do anything else. I will say the beds had plenty of pillows on them which I appreciated and the sheets and bathroom was clean. There's no place to put clothes or really unpack , no dressers or closets. The a/c isn't great and it's very loud. I can't imagine staying here in summer. Definitely not worth the price tag $350/night. Definitely would not recommend or stay here again.

I was moved here by Hilton after plumbing issues at the DoubleTree just up the street (where I normally stay when I visit Gilbert), and I have to say I was fairly impressed! Perhaps my expectations where low since this is a budget chain, but I actually found the rooms here to be nicer than up the street. They are not the largest (and they do not have any drawers/closet space except for a few hooks and racks, which might be an issue for some), but they are modern, slick, and comfortable. Plus, all technology is up to date, and the A/C unit is strong and quiet. I will note though that the sheets are not my favorite, as they feel a bit on the cheaper/soft (almost fuzzy) side. One of my favorite features is the bathroom soap/lotions -- everything is in a large, mounted tube which you squeeze. No more finagling with tiny bottles! Additionally, the front desk staff was very welcoming and accommodating, and the entire hotel had a relaxed energy to it. My biggest complaint: you will NOT earn 10 base pts/dollar here, like at other Hilton properties. You will only earn 5, as it is considered a budget hotel. This might be the only thing that keeps me from immediately selecting this hotel for future stays.

Perfect spot for a short business/personal trip. Loved our stay. Great staff The lobby and rooms are bright, clean, and efficient. Great shower, NotSoapRadio soap/shampoo/lotion much appreciated . Rooms don't have drawers, or closet, but plenty of wall shelves, and suitcase shelf or under bed, hanger rod and wall hangers. Small refrigerator was perfect for our stay. Small chair/desk- perfect for work. Felt like a great hostel style. Well set up for electronics, had a pool table in the lobby, a small pool with Nice outdoor seating area Contemporary, 'hip' feel. Eggs, sausage, toasts, bagel and cereals, etc. For breakfast. Plenty of open, bright lobby seating. Only 2-3 Blocks from major hi end shopping mall and great restaurants, a TopGolf, and the Riparian Preserve and beautiful regional Library https://www.gilbertaz.gov/departments/parks-and-recreation/riparian-preserve-at-water-ranch Will definitely choose Tru by Hilton line again when traveling, if close to my destination.

Where do i even begin on this what i even have to call a staycation. Being it's located in Gilbert you'd think nice , clean , and fairly new right? Far from it my friend. Let's dive in to the details. When your first walking through the hallways to which i found snot rags everywhere laying around not sure if it's part of the hotel? Or if Covid itself started here. As i entered my room i couldn't help but to be slipping all over the place to which was was a grease floor filled bathroom or maybe house keeping needed to shower before hand? Not sure the air in the room is so moist that the wallpaper it's self is even peeling off for help. Which leads me to the bedroom.. oh boy the bedroom. Well i'm not sure if i was suppose to be paying hourly or if i accidentally got put in the red casting couch room considering the courtesy of the piss stains all over the sheets. Let alone the pubs molded to the bed as a courtesy touch by the Tru hilton! The AC unit had a layer of dust that i'd rather sleep with then even take a second longer on any of that furniture. There was dirt all over the floors and walls. Which leads me to my next question? Did monkeys stay at the room before me or what is the best explanation you couldn't wipe literal poop off the walls or maybe this was a courtesy decoration touch as well. Also wondering who got so hungry they chewed off part of the chair? I should've known in my first 20 seconds looking out the window and seeing a random dog shitting on a construction. The elevator almost collapsing my first ride really said everything i needed to know about the place. If you enjoy pubes, bed bugs , and god knows what else please by all means this is the spot for you !

Coffee and tea are complimentary while water bottles in the room are $3 per bottle unless booked through Hilton as a member. The room is spacious and the window has a two-set shade for lighting control instead of curtains. It comes equipped with a smart TV that can be hooked up to services like Netflix, Apple TV and more. If your stay is short, five days or less, and do not require housekeeping, it's best to forego the service. Trash can be easily left outside of the room or brought to the bins by the parking areas. We returned to our room on the third day, after skipping service on the second day, with fresh towels even though the towels were hung. The bed was made although with not so fresh sheets. You can most certainly tell it wasn't. It wasn't dirty to begin with, but it would've been nice to have gotten fresh sheets. The concierge staff continued to be warm and courteous at checkout as well. I won't mind staying here again.

I don't like that you can't find a menu of the restaurant anywhere online and have to go in to see it but the food is delicious! There was a massive gap under my room door which made it extremely loud and I could hear everything this was happening in the hallway crystal clear. Same with my neighboring room which walls seem to be paper thin and I could hear their conversations as well. I would urge that these sound issues be fixed before I ever think about coming back to this hotel.

He said I should notify the hotel for future guests. I called and confirmed we did not need a code for the medical discount. (We needed the code at a diff hotel in Scottsdale.) When we checked in, I verified we were there for medical reasons and asked what the rate was. He said we would get it at checkout. I have never stayed in a hotel that would not tell me the rate upfront. He ran my CC, but said it would not be charged until we checked out. (I did not prepay) Upon check out, the GM, Tammy would not honor the medical discount. She said because I made the reservation via Expedia, she could not give me the discount (even though I called ahead, and was told when we checked in that we would be on a medical discount rate). Luckily it was only a 3-night stay - but I was mad enough with just those days being at a higher rate. House keeping did not clean our room on the scheduled day. Although we will need to return in 6 months, location is perfect - close to medical facility and restaurants... We will never return to this hotel.

The rooms are spacious and clean, a little dated, but comfortable. The staff was friendly enough. I had to check out of my room but still had time before my flight and needed to take some meetings. The downstairs lobby area has plenty of seating and even little nooks where you can sit and work and not be disturbed. I never go down for the breakfast, but they had some decent options in their market if you are arriving late and need a little snacky snack. If you're looking for an easy and convenient space to stay, I recommend. I mean I think most people know what they are getting with a Residence Inn, but just in case the nice thing is you do get a small kitchen and there is usually some living space separate from the bed. I really felt like I had a ton of room to spread out.

There was also a small shop at the entrance selling snacks and chargers. Check-in was a bit slow as they had difficulty finding my reservation. However, the receptionists were always kind and helpful. The 2 queen bed room was spacious and included a microwave, mini fridge, coffee machine, hangers, and an iron. The bathroom had communal soap, lotion, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. There was a note on the sink stating that other toiletries were also available upon request. I wished there was more toilet paper was included as there was only one extra roll. There was a sufficient number of towels for the sink and shower. However, I found the shower to be difficult to start as the shower pin was stuck. The shower knob was also labeled backwards as the "H" was on the side of cold water instead of hot. The bed and pillows were soft and supported. The bedsheets were clean but could have been thicker. I enjoyed the easy access to outlets and lighting from the convenience of my bed. The TV was large and there was a decent number of channels available. Breakfast was simple yet executed well. The omelets were light and fluffy. Potatoes weren't always served but it was a good day when they were. Everything was seasoned and cooked well. Sausages were juicy and bacon was crispy. There was also fruit juices and coffee available. Other items included cinnamon rolls, cereal, oatmeal, and made to order pancakes. I would have loved healthier items like fresh fruit but the spread was more than sufficient for me. Although others enjoy actual dishware, the disposable plates and utensils made it easy to eat on the go. Would stay here again when visiting Mesa or Gilbert.
