I am a client of Cheri, the owner, and I have been for a number of years. Cheri does a great job with my difficult hair. Cheri listens to what I have to say about what I like and what my goals are and she makes suggestions. We straightened it for a while and now we are going with the curly look. Once, after a straightening treatment, Cheri was unhappy with the result. She had me come back and repeat the entire process. She would not charge me for the re-do and would not even accept a tip. The results did not meet her standards and that was the bottom line. Truthfully, I didn't even notice a problem. I have also enjoyed some of the spa services. I have been a client of Jody for pedicures and have been very happy. Jody does a great job and the pedicure lasts forever. She is wonderful! I highly recommend the spa pedicure! The Spa offers all kinds of specials for new customers. This is a great way to try out the different services. Everyone who works there is extremely friendly and welcoming. I absolutely love Tru Salon. I have been to numerous places over time and I was never happy with my hair and service. Heather is top notch. I always leave the salon with a big smile on my face. My husband and daughter never once said anything over the previous years abut my hair. When Heather did my hair for the first time, I came home and my daughter and husband said my hair looks awesome! I highly recommend Heather to do your hair. She listens to exactly how your want your hair to look and always is accommodating to your busy schedule. I stopped in the other day on a whim to inquire about eyebrow waxing. First of all the salon is big and beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful but not pushy. It turned out the esthetician Candice was available for a walk in eyebrow wax. The room was comfortable and clean. The table I laid on even had a heating pad, very relaxing. Candice proceeded to give me the best eyebrow waxing I have ever had! I have even got a few compliments on how nice they look since. While she was waxing me we chatted about skin care and facials. I have very troubled skin! She gave me some tips of things to do at home, even a few samples of products. She wasn't trying to hard sell me into getting facials but did explain the pricing and different styles they offer. I will defiantly be back to try one out. I had reached a point where I had just been in mom mode for way to long. It had been years since i took the time to take care of me. I did not have a hair stylist that I used on a continuous basis. I have naturally curly hair (very curly) and had been maintaining it with box color. I made call after call looking for a stylist that could rock curly hair and fix horrible box color. I called Tru and Lea was suggested. She took probably 20 minutes just reviewing my hair, what it needed and came up with a plan to fix the color that I wanted to get rid of. I have NEVER had a better cut than I did that day. Lea truly wanted to help me, she didn't suggest everything under the sun that would run hundreds of dollars...she listened heard what I wanted to accomplish and came up with a plan to meet my needs not her wallet. I had a really bad experience going to a different salon that I literally had to have a second haircut the next day in a desperate attempt to try to fix it. I ended up going to Tru salon, but they were completely booked for the day and made me an appointment a few days later. In talking to the front desk I asked if I could at least talk to someone about the disastrous haircut I just had, they were very polite and helpful. Long story short I was told to return about 30 min later for a consultation, which I did. Honestly what I was expecting was a 5 min conversion, however I ended up seeing Cheri, the owner, she was very helpful and flexible and not only took the time to talk to me but she actually set me down in the chair and fixed my haircut. I've always got my hair done with Anna ever since she started at Tru. She is very personable and takes the time to ask questions to make sure she creates what image I have in mind! I have referred my sister as well and she loved the outcome and told me Anna was the first person who made her feel welcome in a salon and said that she respected her requests as well as her shyness. Anna has done my hair as well as my nails and I'll keep coming back. Anna always has creative outfits on which makes me feel more comfortable when I come in because I feel like I can relate to her in a way of more than just hair. So glad this salon was recommended to me by Sarah Mackey. I loved my salon that I had been going to for years but just hated the drive and needed a change. Tru Salon fit not only a short distance away but it filled everything that I was looking for. All of the staff is very welcoming and the owner even made a point of welcoming me there on my first visit. Let me start by saying I had a hair emergency my hair is normally a medium brown unfortunately the last place I went to colored it way too dark almost black I wasn't expecting a lot when I found Tru Salon I had never been there before I was just really hoping that in a couple of visits they could get my hair Brown. Would you believe I started going to Tru Salon because my husband went there? True story, my husband's family had been going there for 20 years and shortly after our wedding I began going to the same salon as him (and his parents). 22 years later all four of my girls also go to Tru. The first time I showed up for my appointment, there was a mix up. After speaking with Heather, she corrected the issue and was able to cut my hair as planned. It was EXACTLY what I was going for. I haven't had hair this short in a long time and was really nervous but she but it in a way that made my fine hair look much more full. She also helped me learn how to style it quickly and easily. Bethany has been doing my hair for many many years and I would highly recommend her! She's also done updos and color on me and it always looks great. I'm always complimented on my layered hairstyle. I had never been to this salon before but the previous one I went to had messed up too many times so I decided to try this one. Compared to a cheap salon is it a bit pricey, but the prices are realistic and are worth while. A balayage, toner, and highlights for me was about $180, not to mention it looked amazing.
