$150 for PARTIAL HI LITES? Said he gave me a root shadow and I just see hi-lites NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURE I SHOWED HIM AND SAID I WANTED. I agreed to a root shadow thinking it would be like the example picture but this is DEFINITELY NOT A ROOT SHADOW. I wanted DEPTH and for you to cover my greys with the same color my natural hair was on top and sides from grow out of my natural hair. This was not worth $150.00 and I gave you three stars because the hi- lite color is really nice. Now when I look in the mirror all I see is straight blonde. This is not ethical and as a Master stylist you should know this. You did not cut my hair. You barely trimmed it. I asked for my bangs to be at lip length when dry and an inch off the rest. That was not done. Hair cut not worth $65.00 I liked the Fusio conditioning treatment. You were on your phone even when with me while doing my hair. If you want to build rapport with a client not the way to go. I know I was a new client but saying "I usually don't do new clients" was a slap in my face. Really don't understand what happened today. I've been here one other time and got a facial, massage and haircut and color. Was fabulous. Paid 240$ total last time. I come back for a touch up and was given my hair services by the owner John and his wife. I was quoted at 230$ and was charged an outrageous 270$. 1 other person worked on my hair so that's a total of 3 people. There was another young lady in the salon getting highlights and then an hair extensions estimate and they completely ditched me to help her for almost an hour. The front desk was snippy once I requested to come back and tip since...you guys cleared my wallet. That was about it for me for this salon. Now. My hair looks beautiful but the customer service I received today was beyond. You don't "fawn" over one girl and then leave me hanging. Couldn't even get a coffee after I requested it. Best part. I was told the services I was getting quoted at 230$ and then they tell me it was extra for a conditioning treatment. Which was told I no longer needed due to a toner I was given. I felt taken advantage of. Not very nice of you to do any of this to me. For the owners of a salon to act like this doesn't make me want to come back. I am not being difficult or saying the service I received was terrible. But the customer service absolutely was. I understand you are busy. You are running a business. Explain then, why I'm sitting here about to cry feeling self conscious then? Women come to a salon to feel good about themselves. Not feel like we are walking on eggshells. Please do better. Save your money!! If I could give this place a negative star, I would. After arriving, I sat in the chair for over 20 minutes before even being acknowledged by the man who was supposed to be doing my hair. I made the appointment to have a partial highlight. After putting minimal highlights in my hair and some lowlights, a quick, absolutely not a haircut, trim, I walked out feeling so sick after being charged 350 effing dollars for the hair I wasn't completely happy with. He was listening to a soccer game on his phone, loud enough for the entire building to hear. He made a remark that I have "thin" hair. No sh$& dude, thanks for pointing out one of my insecurities. Zero... if I could. Ava continues to tell me she gave me very blonde highlights 2 weeks ago. It was hard for me to go into the salon and confront her... I paid 280.00 and I was only asking 200.00 for the failed highlights... she refused to acknowledge her failure to make my hair the way I asked and said she could do.. dismissed me, called me girl!... I'm 55yr.. she refused to return my money but said she would redo it.. 1. Why would I let her touch my hair. 2. If she thinks she did a good job why does she feel the need to redo it.. she said, fine let someone fry your hair, said she will stand by these blonde.... aka copper, gold, brown ugly highlights... I let the clients in the chairs know exactly what she did and said to me... even Ava's husband wouldn't even look at me... This place is wonderful! I am a new customer and I came 10 minutes early Incase I needed to fill any paper work. While I waited, they provided a nice waiting area with light refreshments. Now, I normally don't go out and treat myself to hair services. This time I did, and I thought it would be awkward to make small talk with the stylist (last name Vukaj, I didn't catch their first name - but this person was American Albanian.) The conversation kept flowing, while they did a phenomenal job with my hair. I got so many compliments about my hair from family and friends that day. Decently priced. Very frustrated & unhappy . I had a $100 SpaWellness gift card. When I called , I asked if they took the card for haircut services . I was told yes , but only if booked with Eva or John . The cost for haircut was $60 . The receptionist booked me with John who I found out later was an actual owner . When I arrived for my appt ., John told me they would only give me a Gjeto's salon credit for the difference of money on my gift card after paying for the $60. haircut . My bill came to $60 + I left a $12.00 tip , so a total of $72.00 . This left me w/ a $28.00 credit balance from my $100. gift card . Stephanie , the receptionist did not give me my spa gift card back nor did she give me a receipt for services & showing my Gjeto's salon credit $28.00 . I asked for a receipt -she finally handed me one & bc I was in a hurry , I left without checking it . In reviewing receipt after I got home , I noticed Stephanie the receptionist printed in receipt that she gave me $28.00 change . SHE DID NOT ! I called back up to the salon & states now where on the receipt does it state that I have a credit of $28.00 , but states that she gave me the difference in change .Spoke with John the owner - he was very hesitant to email a receipt showing my credit at their salon but said he would . Fast forward the next day - still did not receive the email showing my credit due at their salon for future service . Very frustrated . Very poor business practice ! Never , ever have I dealt with something like this before when using a gift card . Why wasn't my card returned after I paid ? Why was my receipt showing they gave me $28.00 change when they did not ? Called their salon once again asking the same questions & where was my email receipt ? Stephanie , the receptionist told me that she doesn't know bc John , the owner makes those decisions . She said she or John would get back with me . I finally received an email receipt showing my credit balance due me at their salon ! After this awful experience , I don't even want to go back . But now they have $28.00 of my gift card money ! Very shady business practice . Customer service / satisfaction at its worst. I would not patronize this salon ! read more

This is not where I usually get my haircut, but my friend got married and booked us all hair and makeup appointments here. I haven't been to the old location of this salon, but the new location in the Novi Fountain Walk is really nice. The spa areas look very sleek and clean and the hair stylists have a nice enough area surrounded by windows letting in a lot of natural light. None of us got haircuts, but judging by the quality of the styles we each had when we left, I would trust them with a pair of scissors. Not only were the styles modern looking, but they held up all night as well with a few extra sprays of hairspray throughout the day and night. The makeup was another story. I felt like I had 50 layers of makeup caked on and it looked that way too. I also had so much bronzer on that I looked like an Oompa Loompa. The eye makeup wasn't too bad, but it was sloppy. Each of us had to do some makeup fixes when we got home. For $70 (including $10 extra for air brushed foundation) I expected a MUCH more professional job. I would definitely go back to Gjeto's for my hair, and maybe to try a spa treatment, but I would stay away from the makeup chair. read more

I would not recommend. We went for a massage they had a special for $69 dollars. I scheduled two people at the same time the receptionist guaranteed we would be together for the massages we get there we are in separate rooms and in order for us to be together we would have to pay $95 per person instead. The manager and owner wasn't helpful in honoring what was said so we left to go to another place to pay full amount. The money wasn't the issue the customer service was. They had a whole speech on convincing us to pay $95 when we walked in so we should've known then. read more

I used to come here for Renee before I moved out of the state. She is passionate about what she does and always has your best interest in mind. She's very in tune to what's best for you and won't lead you in the wrong direction. A plus for this salon is they carry kerastase. I prefer salons who carry this brand. Only downfall is it's pricey but you get what you pay for. I've also had a massage before here and it was amazing! She did just the right amount of pressure and the environment is so relaxing! Best pedicure I've ever had; especially loved the mud mask wrap. Would have liked a little more jacuzzi action at the beginning to be honest. I got regular polish on my toes and shellac on my fingers; even though it was the same brand & same exact color name, they didn't come out the same hue which was a little disappointing. Overall experience was good even though it's only two days later and I already see some discoloration of the shellac.... I bought the Yelp Deal which was $50 for $100 of services, but otherwise I think it wouldn't have been worth the $110+ tip at the regular price. read more

I went to Gjetos Thursday and yesterday for lashes and ended up getting my brows done AND a hair cut. Eva did such an AMAZING job on my hair!!! I am a black girl with curly hair and EVERY salon I go to wants to straighten it, lock it or put a bunch of crap in it that make the curls AWFUL!! Over the years I stopped going to salons and have just been winging it with these curls... Shea Moisture and Coconut Oil. Battling breakage as best as I could. Eva suggested some products and did a HELLUVA layered cut completely fixing the "ponytail damaged" area. What prompted me to write this review is ALL DAY TODAY I have been getting stopped, complimented and asked questions like "who does your hair??" "What products do you use??"
