The borrowed pickup truck and our new-to-us RV trailer while we camped on the road outside Truck Works for a few days.

I borrowed a diesel pickup to bring a new-to-me RV trailer home from the southern California desert. Unfortunately, the truck broke down early on our return trip 20 miles south of Banning, CA. An AAA contracted tow truck brought us to the best pickup truck service center they knew of. Happily, Terry and the friendly and knowledgeable crew at Truck Works in Banning tore into the truck's engine and eventually discovered the problem and repaired it. The problem turned out to be a failed wiring harness on the engine that was causing all sorts of crazy things, like racing of the engine, wouldn't shut off, and more. It was a real "head scratcher" and Truck Works didn't give up. We so appreciate their diligence and tenacity in tracking down and repairing the issue. Go see Terry and the crew there for any and all work for your diesel or gas pickup truck!

I borrowed a pickup truck from a friend to pull my new-to-me RV trailer home to NorCal from the desert of SoCal. Just north of Palm Springs, the truck broke down on a Sunday afternoon. We were towed to Truck Works (TW) in Banning and spent the night in the trailer outside the shop on the street. The next morning owner, Terry Ward, and staff arrived ready to help us. While the truck gave upwards of 20 error codes, the discovery of the root problem eluded technicians for two and a half days. Happily, the staff remained tenacious and ultimately the problem was discovered as a badly shorted wiring harness over the engine. After the replacement harness arrived, it was carefully installed and tested. The alternator, which initially had also failed, was replaced. We were without transportation during this four-day period, so to get food and supplies needed for our asphalt camping outside the repair shop, we walked, used Uber rides and shared in lunchtime meals with the TW staff. And during the COVID-19 pandemic, even takeout meals and deliveries were virtually non-existent. Office admin, Melissa, took my wife to the grocery store for some much-needed food. And Terry allowed us to fill our water tank in the RV trailer. By Thursday midday, we were headed northward again, confident we would not be interrupted again with breakdowns. Sure enough, our trip was uneventful, except happily for an overnight stay and visit with dear friends. By Friday, we arrived in NorCal to drop off our RV trailer at our home and return the now much healthier borrowed pickup. On the following Monday, the owner, Terry Ward, called me to check if everything was still okay (which it was). The actions and compassion in support of us clearly epitomize excellent customer service. We are ever in debt to Terry and his team for their kindness and expertise. I highly recommend Truck Works for light and medium-duty truck repair and performance upgrades. You never regret utilizing them

As soon as I bought my Ford F350 Dually 4x4 7.3L, I took it to Terry to straighten a few things out. It wasn't running right, 4x4 didn't work, and it needed all the standard maintenance done. Terry and his crew of wizards Solomon, Chris, and Brian diagnosed what was wrong and found it had the wrong wiring harness from the factory, among other things. They fixed the wiring issue and the 4x4 works now for the first time. It's the only place I trust and the only place I take my truck. They also do all the service on my wife's Expedition. Terry has a great team. I highly recommend Truck Works.

I paid them to change my HPOP and fuel drain valve and now it leaks

I paid them to change my HPOP and fuel drain valve and now it leaks. They had about $2,000 to do it and a month and excuses about how they had to fire people. Would not recommend to anyone.

I was very luckily enough to meet Louis (owner) of Vtech and said they work on all types of cars and do most repair services. My water pump went out in my GTI and Louis was the first person I called. He quoted a very fair price to fix the water pump and I could drop off the car that same day. Within a few days, the car was fixed and it was running great. Check engine light pops on again. I called Louis and he says bring in the car whenever I am free. I come the next day, he plugs in the scanner, and a few codes were displaying. Louis recommends leaving the car with him so they could get to the bottom of it. I get a call the next day and he says they cleaned the map sensor and hopefully that will fix the issue. And sure enough it did! I know this a bit of a long review but sometimes finding a great and honest mechanic is like striking gold except you want to tell everyone. In short, I highly recommend taking your vehicle to VTECH automobile for service. Louis is one of the best if not the best automechanics in the area!

We took it to the dealer, they correctly diagnosed the problem and fixed it in one day. Spoke to the owner of VTech, he basicly called me a liar saying that they did fix it, so why did we have to take it to the dealer to get everything straightened out??? I'll tell you why, again VTech misdiagnosed the problem but refuses to do anything so we are taking them to court. This is our honest experience with VTech and just thought everyone should know about our experience.
