I have been taking my car to Dinosaur Tires for years. Mostly for oil changes and tires. I have always had a positive experience. Never had issues with my oil changes or tire replacements. The staff is always friendly and courteous. This year (2026) had an opportunity to use Dinosaur for a couple of issues with my vehicle besides oil change and tire. The first issue happened to be with my driver side window sticking and not rolling up properly and some wiring issues. Dinosaur diagnosed my car with some of the hoses and wiring chewed by rats or mice (Subaru uses a soy based wire installation that rats love. This issue I believe was repaired. They had to order a part from Subaru for the window, so I was told, and I paid for that repair at a total of $600. However, no more than 3 weeks later, my driver side window was doing exactly what it was before where it would stick but eventually roll up. I should have taken it back then, and had them redo the work. I got busy and time went buy. A couple months later, I then needed my regular oil change and my AC was not getting as cool as it use to. No noises, no other issues just not getting as cool as it use to. So I took it in to Dinosaur for the oil change and to diagnose the AC problem. They asked me to leave the car for two days. When the called me on the second day, they told me the oil change was done but to fix the AC, the car needed a new Serpentine Belt and Serpentine Tensioner at a cost of service and parts of $600. I asked them how these parts were causing the problem and how it would remedy the AC problem? However the mechanic who worked on my car was not there on Saturday, so they could not give me the reasons until Monday when the mechanic was there. I was not able to afford the $600 repair that month anyway, so I mentioned I would have to have the AC fixed later next month. So I picked up my car, they changed the oil and also replaced the cabin filter. Once I got in my car to drive home, the AC was working perfectly. I am not sure what they did, but I almost paid an additional $600 to Dinosaur for something they said I needed but did not. I further verified this with my nephew who is a certified auto mechanic for Porsche. He told me that the Serpentine Belt and Serpentine Tensioner would have nothing to do with the coldness of the AC. He stated if I was having problems with those parts, I certainly would have heard something in my car and my car was making no noise. As kind and courtesy as everyone is at Dinosaur tires, I will not be taking my car back to them knowing they almost charged me $600 for a repair I did not need. And now I wonder if they actually even ordered a part from Subaru for my window since it still isn't working properly after that $600 repair. So the moral of this story is I will be finding a new car mechanic. As far as tires and oil changes? Dinosaur may be fine (though they charged me $200 for my oil change) But if you need more advanced work on your vehicle, I would not recommend them. Sorry Dinosaur. read more

This morning Dinosaur Tire Stepped it up and really showed up and made me feel warm and super appreciative.. This morning I hit a pothole on the freeway.. I was parked around the Corner waiting on AAA to help me.. Almost 3 hours of sitting there.. No calls or updates from AAA or the provider.. I finally drove here and was parked outside their gate.. Very nice guy asked me what was going on.. After talking to him and explaining my situation, he came out and put my donut tire on my car so I can get back on the road.. Price and work done: They quoted him well below Midas, and got his car in and fixed in a day (going to attempt to list off the parts but I'm not a car person: 4 motor mounts, an emission coil, and a spark plug on a Nissan Sentra 2006) for ~$1k. Timing: They originally gave us an appointment date 2 weeks out. When speaking of worries about getting his car fixed before his upcoming job applications and interviews, they fit him in sooner for next business day and got the work done fast. Dropped the car off at 8 AM, picked it up by 5 same day. My only complaint: No employees were masked in the office (there were up to 4 at a time present), and there was no enforcement of guests wearing masks. The people were friendly, and the quote I was given over the phone was the price they charged me. If you need tires, call around and compare prices. I guarantee you'll get the best price from Dinosaur. My Civic needed all new tires and one place told me it would be $780. Dinosaur did it for $365. A few years ago we were told that our Mazda needed over $1,400 in repairs by several mechanics. We took it to Dinosaur and they discovered the real problem which was only a $40 fix! Their waiting room is large enough (and very clean!) for social distancing, plus they have set up seating outside. The employees were all wearing masks as well. read more

If I could put no stars, I would. I took my car into Dinosaur tires because I had gotten a flat tire. I called around and they said they had my size tire so I took my car there. When I took my car they said that the wheel was so messed up that they couldn't fit the tire on the wheel and the lady at the front said I can try to go get the wheel repaired somewhere, but they don't do that. So on my way to find a place to get my wheel repaired I realized they didn't give me my tire and wheel back. So I went back to Dinosaur tire and the guy that was there told me the wheel is unrepairable, that a piece of the wheel completely came off, and I need a whole new wheel and tire. The original lady I spoke to said it would be $350 for wheel and tire. When I spoke to the guy he said it would be around $500 but since it was a Saturday he wouldn't be able to give an exact quote and he would call me on Monday to give me an exact quote. So on Monday they never called so I ended up calling and he then told me it was going to be $650. Something didn't seem right to me so I took my car elsewhere. When taking my car elsewhere that place had told me I don't need a new wheel that mine is fine they just needed to smooth the rim out. I'm so thankful I listened to my gut I saved over $500 dollars and didn't get something that I didn't need! I will never take my business to Dinosaur tire again and I'll be sure to spread word not to take your car there and trust them. read more

This place looks like a hole-in-the-wall, but their service is beyond excellent! We are full time RVers, and needed to replace all six tires. They worked to accommodate our needs, and helped us get in and in place before the technicians started work so we were ready to go, and barely had time for breakfast at "Clarkies," next door before they were done. This place is great, very happy with the service I received. I needed new tires for my husband's work truck, I had it at different place first and they were unable to remove the old tires because of the factory wheel lock, and unwilling to try. I called dinosaur tire and they said they could do it, no problem, and replace the old lug nuts with universal ones that didn't need a lock. Dropped off the truck in the morning and a few hours later it was ready to go, no issues. Will be using them again the next time I need tires. read more
