this store is so well organized and absolutely stunning. literally a hallmark movie. the two women behind the counter were so kind and inviting. i ended up finding a gorgeous knit american flag oversized sweater. even better, it was discounted. next time i'm in the area i'll probably spend more time in there. just very good energy. and no pushy sales employees l, yet very accommodating and perception. read more

The service at Trudy's has been exceptional over the years. The ladies are joyful and helpful. One concern I encountered was with the "sweet shop" chocolates. I bit into a chocolate truffle and immediately started gagging only to discover a piece of plastic in the center that caused extreme choking to dislodge it from throat. I went to urgent care to ensure all was well. I swallowed parts of it, but praise the LORD no serious damage occurred. Apparently the chocolates are delivered from the company in Mt. Pleasant Texas. I share this for safety concerns. This certainly could have been problematic or fatal for children. read more

I walked in to this store full of unique gifts, excited about my soon to be purchase. I noticed a woman standing at the counter who made eye contact with me but was quietly working on stocking something at the counter, so i began to look around. Approximately 3 mins after entering the store a couple walks in a the lady at the counter gives them a greeting you'd experience at a Disney theme park. I thought wow, she did even say good evening to me. She asked if they were looking for anything special and so on. Now if O had not been the oy person in the store before the couple entered I probably wouldn't have noticed. Trudy's Hallmark shop has friendly staff and a good amount of items on sale. I came here twice now to get birthday gifts for friends and cards. They have a wide selection of things, including journals, home goods, candles, etc! You can spend a long time in here. I received a 40% off coupon for the month of September and the kind lady at the cashier let me use it once, and told me to keep it because I could use it again if I come back later in the month. As rude as the people were last week at Town &. Country, was as nice as the salespeople were today at Eldridge. Practically before I got in the door, they were greeting me and asking me if I needed help. Very warm atmosphere. You knew they were caring and enjoyed their jobs. Had no problem checking out. Very nice experience. As a platinum member, I think I'm probably a core customer, and one that Eldridge made to want to return. Keep up the good work! read more

Went there for the first time yesterday. Found exactly what I was looking for and the prices were reasonable. I asked if they could gift wrap the items I had purchased, they said they don't do that here. Never been to a gift shop that didn't provide that service, anyways the cs lady at the counter said since they weren't very busy she will do it for me so a good experience over all. read more

I frequent Trudy's often, especially for their awesome clearance sale. They also have a good amount of items on sale. Customer service has always been good to me. Friendly when you walk in, greet you with a hello and welcome and a goodbye when you leave. They carry more than what a lot of other Hallmark's that I've been to have. read more

I lost track on how many years that I have been with Hallmark, love the cards and products. My last visit to Trudy's Hallmark at this location has made me decided to not shop at Hallmark. I went in to exchange a gift that I received for my bridal shower. Here were the customer service I received after I asked for an exchange 1) Before checking, 1st customer service associate (CSA) immediately told we might not carry this product 2) 2nd CSA was giving me an attitude when I asked them to check 3) after checking, she came back and was rolling the eyes and telling 1st CSA that Hallmark do caring it and it was not a sale item. 4) I told them I am willing to exchange. The tone of the 1st CSA basically command me that I have to exchange it today and no store credit. At the end of the visit, it is totally not the Hallmark that I know. I frequent this location and had a very negative experience today . I went in this afternoon and found a few things to purchase . Upon checking out the cashier asked if I was a hallmark rewards member . I gave her my rewards number and she proceeded to check me out . I then showed her s digital coupon emailed to me from Trudy's Hallmark. The cashier got agitated and said " I don't think you can use this " . I have used digital coupons at this location before , as the scanner is in place for customers that are reward members to scan their phones . Another clerk that had worked at this location for years said " a man came in earlier and had a coupon , all you do is input the number off the coupon . The cashier then looked at me and said rudely " next time you need to print it ! " you can't use that coupon again ! The coupon plainly says no photocopies or reproduction . Really ? Obviously this person is misinformed and does not know the policy . No excuse for being rude and incompetent . I will definitely be getting in touch with the store owner /manager tomorrow . I walked in and, was not greeted...but the 2 ladies and one gentleman after me were greeted very attentive...remind you the door makes a bell sound when you go in. i probably just go the a other location won't be coming here..big lost for the store...i do spend quite a bit of money.when i do go. I frequent this location on occasion , and am a crown rewards member . I went in to the store and made a holiday purchase this afternoon . Upon checking out the cashier asked if I was a rewards member . I said yes , and gave her my number . At the point of sale I showed the cashier a coupon . The coupon was a Trudy's rewards coupon that was emailed to me . The clerk was agitated that I had a coupon , and said "I don't know if you can use this " Another clerk that's worked at this store responded " you can a man came in and had one , all you do is use the number on the coupon " The cashier then looks at me and says " next time you better print it " you can't use the one fro your phone again . The clerk was very rude and I have used digital coupons before with no such issue . The coupon plainly states it cannot be reproduced and photocopied . It's a digital coupon and the scanner is in place on the counter for me to scan my phone ! I am calling to speak with the store manager or owner tomorrow .
