I called four times, as well as the day I dropped the dress off, and also stopped in person hoping to speak with the tailor or owner. I wanted to make sure there wasn't a misunderstanding or error before posting a negative review, but I was never able to get a clear explanation of the pricing. Afterward, I spoke with other local tailors and showed them the dress. Based on their feedback, the cost I was charged was significantly higher than expected. If there was a reason for the pricing, I would have appreciated the opportunity to have it explained. They have always been convenient for dry cleaning, and I've had positive experiences with that service. However, I would strongly recommend that anyone considering alterations ask for a detailed quote upfront and make sure they clearly understand the pricing before leaving their garment.

And since I don't usually feel comfortable handing strangers my phone, I settled for just using my CashApp card. By the way, the guy who runs the place seems nice. We didn't exchange many words, but he seems approachable enough. If I ever need alterations done, I will more than likely return here. Locating them the first time was a bit weird.
