At 38 yrs old, this was my very first ever massage. Based on reviews I wasn't quite sure what to expect. Payment is up front (no pun intended). The reception was kind and promptly ushered me into a room. The rooms are softly lit with music playing and no doors. Lu-Lu, god bless that woman, found my knots without me even having to point them out. My shoulders were bugging me for a while and she cleared that right up with firm pressure and kneading. There are bars on the ceiling so she was able to walk on my back too which I've never experienced before. Didn't think I'd like it but I did. I paid for an hour and received an hours worth of work so I gave her a nice tip because it was above my expectations. Thank you! read more

I should have followed my gut when I walked in which told me...leave!!! These woman are obviously here to provide "other" types of services by the looks of things. When they do actually have to go through with a real massage they don't take the task seriously. During my one hour massage (which turned out to be 45 min), my masseuse left the room four times to tend to arriving customers, replied to text, and had a full conversation with a coworker that walked in twice. It was good massage. The lady had a hard time understanding me and another customer but she was friendly. The massage was supposed to be 60 minutes for $40 but it was actually a little under 40 minutes. I visited True Care Massage three times during October and November, 2021. I had a different provider each time, and it was equally wonderful. The spa is quiet, sometimes even opening before 10:00 to accommodate my work schedule. The girls are pretty, speak a little English and really care about your health and satisfaction. Just had my 1st experience here I have mixed reviews about this place. As we walked in not even a hello just a its 40.00 each well okay then.. took us straight to the room where we were asked to undress, then 2 women come in and begin our massage the lady that helped me was very talkative something I dislike along with her damn phone going off and her answering it quoting prices. I Wish I had brought my airpods so that i can tune them out. The main door kept opening and closing just too much noise not relaxing at all. I found the massage to be somewhat painful and I let her know but I dont think she understood. Once done we were offered water and candy. As we headed out to the door and before giving me a chance to settle the lady that massaged my husband asked for a tip I mean shit let me just settled it's not like I wasnt going to tip. I felt that was a little rude but whatever. Well with that said being that I just happen to book this because we were headed to Newport it was on the way, I'll never go back to this place. I went to this spot after reading the reviews here and on other resources. It seemed to be good and affordable. I went in, paid the $40 for the hour long massage which isn't a bad deal. The room was nice, seemed clean enough and my masseuse entered. The massage was decent, not great. She finished in a little under an hour. I must say that I liked that she was asking if I liked the pressure and wanted less as she was a strong masseuse. However, what happened at the end is what earned the parlor two stars instead of three, possibly four. The masseuse began asking for a tip which of course I was going to leave. She demanded a $20 tip, explaining that the $40 I paid was for the owner and she only earns off tips. I then retorted that the massage should be $60 per hour then and that the tip is totally up to the patron. Needless to say, I left her a $10 tip and a bad taste in my mouth. Like I stated, this place is not bad. Perhaps it was just the masseuse. I might be willing to give them a try, and get another masseuse. However, there are so many options around the area. read more

How on earth does anyone give this place more than 1 star? I seriously think there is something suspicious going on at this massage place, which might be cause as to why. My experience here was horrible in every way. First, the receptionist did not speak english and could not communicate with us. She demanded we pay up front, and even add a tip first. She told me and my friend to go into our room, then came in five minutes later - while we were naked under the sheets - to hand us her phone and said, "My manager wants to speak with you." I was appalled. The manager told us that our room was already booked, that we could go to her friend's place down the road and she would take $10 off. We were clearly in shock, so the receptionist said we could stay. The receptionist gave my friend her massage, and she began by stripping off her blanket - neglecting to give her a new one, and leaving her butt naked on the table - and telling her she was sweating. The masseuses were talking the whole time, laughing, being super disruptive, leaving and coming back in. The massage wasn't relaxing at all, and definitely not even worth 30 dollars. When it was done, we sat for a minute, honestly stunned by how bad the experience was. To top it off, she opened the curtain and said, "We need this room, get out haha." WTF? As we walked out the door, one of the masseuses said we still needed to tip - TEN DOLLARS. We ended up getting a refund for the horrific experience, but don't hurt yourself. The boss clearly knows nothing about owning and running a business. DO NOT GO HERE; I AM HORRIFIED. read more
