My eyebrows were long overdue for a touch up. I haven't waxed them in years as I have been having them threaded in New York for a long time now. I quickly realized threading services certainly aren't as common in NH/ME so I started looking for viable waxing services and that's what led me to Aviva. Alisha was so warm and accommodating immediately, and the space is beautiful, clean and calming. Alisha and I chatted throughout my waxing and she's incredibly friendly, interesting and kind while not getting distracted from giving me truly impeccable eyebrows. She was gentle and meticulous and made sure I knew what she was doing and was ok with the direction she was taking with shaping my brows the entire time, which I really appreciated. I have naturally very thick dark eyebrows and they really do make such a difference on my face depending on the shape so I'm particular. Everything was perfect, virtually pain free. I will definitely come back here anytime I'm in the area and will absolutely be recommending to all of my friends nearby. She did my brows and got rid of a couple of growths that just spontaneously like to sprout on my face (I could never be a man). I've only gotten my moustache waxed about 4 times in my lifetime and can't say it's fun, but I will credit Meghan with doing everything possible to stem the pain. Meghan is cordial, efficient, has a sense of humor, and she is a perfectionist. My lip broke out afterwards, but, apparently, this is common. The bumps did go away within a week or so. I do feel cleaner, and it actually enhanced my features, giving me a smooth look. I rarely wear makeup but my lipstick did look better. I'll be going back routinely.

It's a small little place but has the usual salon services at the usual prices. In case you find it difficult finding the salon, it's on the 2nd floor of a building that has a better store on the first floor. There is paid metered parking outside the salon. If you don't find enough information online you can leave her a voicemail. She responds pretty quickly. Do try this place out. She's really sweet :)

Riannon works the same days as any other salon I've been to, and is there late, so I am able to get an appointment after work. She did my hair and makeup, along with my mom's, sister's and friend's hair for my wedding. She made it a fun experience and we all left feeling beautiful. My mom started as a client of Riannon's shortly after and tells me how much she loves her every time she goes to get her hair done. Riannon is also very generous, always willing to donate an auction prize to support children with autism and their families.
