Prior to finding Terry, we interviewed at least 6 AC companies. They all said they could do a Manual J-HVAC, but Terry was the only one who knew how to do it. He also explained a lot, making us aware of many cause/effect heating/cooling issues of our home and how all of those things would be used to generate a report that would let us know what would be expected/required of a new AC system. I had installed 3 mitsubishi hvac and needed them serviced and thru investigation, and thru Mitsubishi I found True Cool. Best day of my life. I then realized they service not only service Mitsubishi but all AC systems. I then realized what service really is. My prior company had changes and just forgot what customer service is and evaluating client needs. The most important thing to me is integrity and true commitment to a clients needs. When I discovered True Cool and its integrity and true commitment to what you need and the honesty, that is lacking in this world. I never turned back. Today, I finally had the correct way of installing a full AC system, which is my main system, correctly. Terry at TRUE COOL is the one I will go to when I need new A/C units or service. Finding myself in a situation where the repairman I had contacted was giving me information that seemed questionable and was not adding up, I began trying to find out all I could in order to fend for myself in the unfamiliar world of A/Cs. Unfamiliar at least to me! Unfortunately, some people seem to take advantage of this and it appeared that I was in a fix. Terry very patiently explained to me what I needed to check and how I could go about it. He demonstrated kindness that is difficult to find in today's world. God bless him! He did not even step foot in my house - rather, he was the third company I had called in desperation after breaking off a wire into my Nest Thermostat. Where other companies wanted to charge me $150+ for a service call based on the problem I described, Terry patiently gave me advice, and stayed on the phone with me while I fixed the issue. I had concerns with exposed wiring connected from the outside condenser to the indoor handler inside the house. I contacted True Cool and the owner actually came to inspect it himself. He recommended replacing the wiring and then placing it inside a PVC pipe to protect it from the elements. The initial cost for that work was very reasonable. I also mentioned a noise coming from the condenser when turn on would sound as it was struggling to run the motor. He sent another technician to inspect both the units and it was determined the sound was coming from what I would describe as a relay inside the condenser. I have used True Cool since 2009. Another company installed my 2 AC units in 2007, the AC's never worked well and the installing company was a disaster and finally was unresponsive. I spent 2008 with other major AC companies trying to get the 2 units to perform properly without success. Finally, I contacted the manufacturer and was directed to True Cool.
