The ambience is perfect being at city place. View of the fountain. And under shades. The service was attentive and polite. The food was ok. We got the burger and its looks a little plain. We also got the hash bowl. Nothing special. It's an assembly of a couple of pieces of beef strip, lots of sweet potato, roasted peppers and onions, avocado and two sunny side up egg. Will try for dinner. Not sure about brunch.

3/5 Stars - Server was helpful with explaining some sauces on the menu. The restaurant was clean and ready for guests. We weren't STARVING so my wife had fingers and fries and I opted for a Margarita Pizza. The pizza was just ok. A little floppier than I would've liked. My biggest reason for the lower stars though is because of another table. Two random guys yelling and cursing about politics and just being super obnoxious without any cares about who is around. This may not have been in the control of the store owners, but someone could've asked them to lower their voices or something. It was just too much.

My girlfriend and I popped in for lunch. Our server greeted us with a friendly welcome and took our order since we both knew what we wanted. I ordered their Korean Noodle Bowl with shrimp. It was a light and delicious meal. They did burn something in the dish but not sure what it was since everything was in one bowl but it wasn't too bad. The restaurant was clean including the restroom. We sat inside since it was hot. Conveniently located in City Place. Good value for lunch.

Amazing healthy spot with great tasting Sourdough Pizza. We had the Margarita Pizza and Spinach & Wild Mushroom. Both pizzas were well done and very tasty. The service was on point and what I really liked was the fact that you could sample stuff you were unsure about. Great spot that's clean and well maintained! Be sure to check it out!

After a less then stellar lunch experience, we were invited back to give it another go. This time we came in for dinner. Chose to sit inside but they have outdoor seating with a prime City Place location and views of the tree as well as the fountain. We started with the special sourdough bread. It was unbelievably good and should absolutely be on the everyday menu. We also had a cauliflower appetizer, the poke bowl and a grilled shrimp special as entrees. All were flavorful and hearty. Our server was also friendly and made for a good experience. Bathroom could be cleaner but outside of that this True Food Kitchen location redeemed itself and is worth another visit.

I was up in the West Palm area with my son , who is vegetarian, so we decided to have dinner here. I was not going to review because we scarfed down our food and I have no pics to show for it. The food was very good. I had the air fried chicken sandwich with a side of cheesy mashed potatoes and a glass of pinot grigio. The sandwich was delicious, I only ate half along with most of the potatoes and took the other half home. The wine was a generous pour which I also didn't finish. My son had a veggie burger which he devoured, along with a side of the cheesy mashed potatoes. The restaurant was very nice....hipster. the bathroom was clean and also really nice. If I go back there, I will post pics. Apologies for that error

I just chuckle in the comments describing ingredients and how sourced or how hearty they are. Yes, quality of the food is stellar. Perhaps the caliber of customers is such that they need to read about what they're eating. I was here for the second time in six months. Did the tuna poke bowl. Tuna was amazing. Cilantro was an amazing touch. First class restaurant. Serious. Oh, waitress rocked.

A friend invited me to lunch and suggested this restaurant and it was an excellent choice! We started with the edamame dumplings and it was delicious! I have thought of it almost every day since having it. It was the perfect bite with the savory broth and the unique flavors meddling together. Can't wait to order it again. I ordered the burger and it was pretty good. You can see the quality of the ingredients through the freshness of the burger. I chose the kale salad and it was good; if you love kale then you would love this. The dessert was excellent! Too many times carrot cake is overly sweet, especially the frosting. This was light and fluffy with each bite. Our server was attentive to our needs and made sure to check in frequently, even offering her suggestions when prompted. We also was asked about our experience by the manager. I really like the brightness of the space, and its right in the heart of downtown WPB so there is ample parking, people watching and just a clean, modern vibe. Like you know that you are in for a great experience.

Came here for dinner with a couple of friends. We had been here a long time ago when it first opened and decided to try it again. I feel like it was a much better experience this time around! Our server, Vasilisa, was attentive and greeted us right away. Drinks came out quickly but the food took a little bit longer. APPS: We ordered the edamame dumplings and the roasted brusselsprouts - both VERY good! ENTREE: I ordered the Asian Wild Caught Shrimp - I enjoyed it very much! I would definitely come back another time to try some of their other seasonal menu items. The restaurant itself is in Cityplace, and the decor was very nice and simple, clean. It fits the area perfectly.

Loved True Food Kitchen! Beautiful outdoor area with views of the park and live music. Service was good and food was delicious! As someone that is gluten free, I loved all of the options. I hope they bring a location to central FL!

We usually love True Food Kitchen. This particular meal was not good. My daughter had the Pesto Lasagna and she enjoyed her dish. I ordered the "Air Fryer" Chicken Sandwich with fries. It was pretty bad. My sandwich and the fries were room temperature. The breading was pretty slimy and the flavor of the pickles and the sandwich itself just didn't go together. Honestly it was just sort of flavorless with a bit of spice. I wanted to love the fries, but they were cold. The dip that comes with the meal was also just off. None of the flavors seemed to complement each other. The waitress was fantastic and very sweet. She did a great job. The manager even came by a couple of times and I should have said something then! Our bill was $82, so I really should have. The atmosphere was fine, music just a bit too loud for our liking. Not our best TFK experience.

This was the first time to dine at this restaurant. There was seating inside and in the courtyard. The menu was vast and had healthy options. The ambiance was lively and airy. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our turkey burgers, salad, fries and hibiscus tea.

We stopped by here with the kids and the food was so delicious. I got a quinoa bowl and added chicken and it was so delicious. Not to mention a great amount of healthy protein. My husband got the turkey burger and it looked really fresh. We opted for guacamole as an app. We decided to sit outside and it was fun to watch the families and their kiddos to enjoy the water feature in the courtyard. The inside is nicely decorated and the team there is so nice.

We sat outside for an early brunch with perfect weather... it set the tone for a beautiful, breezy morning! Food-wise, everything was solid across the board. Nothing that completely wowed me, but definitely good and enjoyable. I was especially excited for the smashed croissant avocado toast, but it fell a little short for me. Smashing the croissant kind of takes away what makes it so good in the first place... you lose that fluffy interior and crispy exterior, and it ended up a bit tough. The oysters and side of bacon were my favorites of the table, both super yummy and I'd absolutely order those again. The truffle fries and short rib benedict were also good, just didn't stand out in a big way. And of course, mimosas... no notes there. Overall, a really lovely brunch spot if you're looking for great ambiance and a relaxing outdoor vibe. The food is good, the setting is even better, and it's definitely a place I'd come back and try something else!

After one meal here, it was easy to understand why it's considered one of the most sought-after restaurants in the area. The atmosphere is energetic and vibrant without feeling overly loud, and the service was polished, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the evening. The menu encourages sharing, which allowed us to sample a variety of dishes. We started with the lobster aquachile, which was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. The lobster was tender, and the bright citrus flavors paired perfectly with the avocado and vegetables. It was a refreshing and memorable way to begin the meal. Next came the beef empanada and pork taco. The empanada was rich and flavorful with perfectly cooked beef and a crisp exterior, while the pork taco packed an impressive amount of flavor into a single bite. Both were excellent examples of why Buccan has developed such a strong reputation for its small plates. One of the highlights of the evening was the squid ink orecchiette. The pasta was perfectly cooked and coated in a rich, savory sauce that brought everything together. It was one of those dishes that makes you immediately start planning your next visit. For a larger plate, I ordered the prime beef burger, which was outstanding. The beef was juicy and flavorful, the toppings were balanced, and the fries were perfectly crisp. It may seem unusual to order a burger at one of Palm Beach's most acclaimed restaurants, but this one absolutely deserves the attention it receives. What impressed me most about Buccan was the consistency across every dish. Nothing felt like an afterthought. From the creative seafood dishes to the comfort-food favorites, every plate was executed with care and attention to detail. Palm Beach has no shortage of excellent dining options, but Buccan stands out as a restaurant that successfully combines creativity, quality ingredients, and flawless execution. If you're visiting the area, this is a reservation worth making well in advance. Recommended: Lobster Aquachile, Beef Empanada, Pork Taco, Squid Ink Orecchiette, Prime Beef Burger, and don't skip the fries. One of the best meals we had during our trip.

I ordered the NY strip, which was perfect, my wife ordered a simple burger...uh oh..... It came out pretty rare, almost raw. She ordered medium, which is pretty standard for restaurant burgers. She couldn't eat this, so we called the waitress, who was a doll, very apologetic but generally warm and professional. Well the burger came back disguised as a hockey puck. Again the waitress came right over and again apologized, my wife was fed up and didn't want another burger and really didn't want anything at this point. Although we didn't ask for a manager, she showed up with out being asked for. She immediately apologized and pleaded with my wife to order something, so my wife ordered a salad, which probtly came. Next, 2 desserts and coffee. Finally the manager comes over, hands my wife her business card an tells us, please give us another try and have dinner on me! Lastly, I ask for the check and was told, it was all comped! Not expected as my meal was great and I also had two cocktails. None the less, I tipped approximately based on the cost of our meals. Last week we stopped in as we were driving home from Port St Lucie and found to spots at the bar. I decided to give this place a second chance on April 18, 2026, with an 8:30 PM reservation, and unfortunately, it was just as bad--if not worse--than my first visit. The service was exceptionally poor. Our waiter, Michael, set the tone early, and not in a good way. It took over an hour just to receive our appetizers, and drink refills required tracking down other staff members. What stood out most was the complete lack of attentiveness--Michael never once checked in on our table throughout the evening. The delay was so excessive that I was able to leave the restaurant, walk across the street, purchase a new set of clothes for my daughter, return, and have her change--all before our main course even arrived. To be clear, this wasn't out of convenience--it was out of necessity. The restaurant was so excessively hot that she was visibly uncomfortable and overheating. To make matters worse, water was served at room temperature in what felt like a furnace of a dining room. We actually had to ask multiple times--and essentially beg--just to get ice brought to the table. That alone speaks volumes about the level of awareness and care. Dining out is supposed to be a relaxing, enjoyable experience--especially after an evening out--but this was anything but. The food itself was underwhelming at best: mediocre, forgettable, and certainly not worth the wait. What was most disappointing, however, was the apparent inconsistency in service. From my observation, certain tables--specifically white families--received noticeably more attention and care, while others, including Hispanic, Asian, and African-American patrons, were largely overlooked. As part of an interracial family, this was both disheartening and unacceptable to witness. I've had great experiences at other locations of this restaurant, which makes this visit even more frustrating. This location, however, falls far below standard. To the management and staff: you're in a high-traffic area where guests come to unwind and enjoy their time. This experience did the exact opposite. One star--and that's only because it was possible to secure a reservation. Now I understand why availability wasn't an issue. TL;DR: Excessive heat, inattentive service, long wait times, mediocre food, and a deeply disappointing overall experience. I will not be returning.
