Got there at 11. Not busy at all. The guy took my order. I asked for the edamame crunch, it's supposed to come with basmati rice, arugula, red cabbage, tofu, mushrooms, cauliflower, edamame, and crispy onions (a vegan option). I am not vegan so I asked for chicken instead of tofu. The girl went to make it, she added tofu so it had to be remade. When I got the new bowl, it was missing the rice. Still really yummy. I went with the Earth Bowl and subbed the almonds for chickpeas. I love that the salads are assembled and chopped up with the preference of your dressing. The food is good when it's right... The service is terrible for to go orders through Uber eats. I just placed my order and wrote clearly that I needed 2 extra dressings on the side and I paid for it. I also paid for 2 scoops of goat cheese and got only one. So that's almost $6 of extras I paid for but didn't receive. This was in the order directly and in 2 notes twice! I have the receipt and you can see it in black and white in clear words. The only reason you wouldn't understand it is if you were illiterate. It doesn't take too long to double check your order before sending it to the Uber eats driver. Normally I have a great order when I order in person, but I didn't have my car today and decided to order through Uber eats. I'm very disappointed and upset because I didn't eat all day and this was supposed to be my lunch but now I cannot eat it as I have a salad with NO dressing... I'm pretty disappointed to be honest. I made the change from my usual bolay, to try just salad. I have a very quick lunch break and it is only if I don't get called off in an emergency. Then I had to wait in line to ask for my order that then had to be made in front of me. this is a huge disappointment and will definitely determine from coming back. The chicken was OK but you can tell it had been sitting for a while as it was a little tough. But what really deterred me was the large ball of goat cheese that I got, which was nearly impossible to spread over the entire bowl. it was not normal goat cheese crumbles like it appeared in the picture. The sauce is supposed to be a balsamic glaze but it's not even the right color of balsamic as it's more of a tan color and very thick. I'm really questioning the quality of food. I come here quite often because I do enjoy their salads but my order has quite a few modifications & I know they always forget the avocado in my salad so I have a habit of checking my pick up order before I leave the restaurant so that I'm able to let them know my avocado is missing because 9/10 it is & usually I'll go to the counter tell them & they put the avocado in a cup & send me on my way. However, this did not happen last night. I went to pick up my order & after checking it I see there's no avocado so I immediately went to the counter & let them know. Ok a new salad eater here and I've been making my own salads a few weeks and decided to try a professional salad place for the first time. After a google and yelp search I decided on Just Salad. Now the salad was delicious and I would have given 4 or 5 stars, but the dude behind the counter wasn't all that pleasant or helpful. I told him it was my first time there and they have an extensive selection of greens and toppings. I needed someone helpful. I needed some guidance about what was available, etc. What I got instead was impatient and frustration as if my "wasting" his time with questions was inconvenient. I also asked for a little dressing and instead he drenched it in dressing. I was hesitant to say anything because he had already proven to be an unpleasant person. The place was empty inside, so it's not as if I was delaying any other customer. Really, there was no need for the poor attitude. The salad was tasty and I did enjoy it. Yesterday I ordered a salad that does come with almonds and selected to have them removed as I am allergic. I ordered Just Salad for dinner and when my food arrived, there was no chicken in my salad which all they sell is chicken salad, and shakes and soup and drinks contact the DoorDash to let them know my order was incorrect. The only thing they could do is refund their delivery fee of five dollars. I called Just Salad. The store told them what happened and their solution was to give me a six dollar credit towards the next purchase which they had the audacity to think that I was gonna re-order again pay full price for the mistake of them not adding chicken to my salad. This is unacceptable. I order from them religiously one to two times every week never have a problem until now and this is how they think they're taking care of business.
