I want to be very fair in this review…read more On a personal level, she is absolutely wonderful. She is kind, calm, professional, and genuinely cares about her clients. The sessions themselves were relaxing and thoughtfully guided, and I always felt supported and respected during our time together. However, I hired her specifically for weight loss, and unfortunately, I did not lose any weight despite committing significant time, effort, and money to the process. I truly wanted this to work -- but it simply did not produce results for me. I understand that hypnosis may work very well for some people. It just wasn't effective in my case, and I wish I had known sooner so I could have redirected my time and money elsewhere. If you're looking for a caring practitioner and are curious about hypnosis, she may be a good fit. If your primary goal is measurable weight loss, I would recommend going in with realistic expectations and understanding that results are not guaranteed.

Shalynn is extremely professional, articulate, and logical in her approach to working with the subconscious/conscious minds. She doesn't shroud hypnosis in mystery and strangeness, but rather explains it with impressive clarity. I'd recommend her to even the most rigid skeptic. After years and years of therapy, its refreshing to find something that produces real progress quickly, simply, and with ease.

Dr. Alexis is absolutely amazing and is a wonderful podiatrist and naturopath!…read more I saw her for an issue with my feet. I appreciated her thorough analysis of my body from head to toe, and telling me how it effects my walking, etc. She was able to successfully diagnose my issue, and helped me come up with a plan to get better. She was also able to fit me for some custom orthotics. I appreciated that Dr. Alexis really took her time with me as a patient and did not make me feel rushed and was very thorough. She is very knowledgeable, attentive, and is overall a friendly physician with a great bedside manner. I highly recommend Dr. Alexis for podiatry and overall care! She is a gem to Seattle! Thank you, Dr. Alexis, for everything!

I'm committed to happy feet!…read more Those were the first words I spoke to Dr. Alexis. I had been suffering for months with foot pain that was changing how I stood and walked. I went to Dr. Alexis for what I thought was a wort that wouldn't go away. Everything I did too self treat wouldn't make the wart go away. After four months of pain and discomfort (missing dance classes and workouts), I finally broke down and booked an appointment. The office was clean and followed Covid-19 protocols keeping herself and her clients safe. Dr. Alexis is very knowledgeable. She asked meaningful questions and listened attentively to my experience. She then gently examined the area and helped me understand the root cause of my condition! She was thoughtful with answering my questions and got consent for each layer of treatment she provided. I left her office in less pain, and equipped with tools to support my ongoing foot health. I have gone back one additional time, with some of my shoes and Dr. Alexis educated me and gave me tools to have foot comfort with each pair! I feel supported and empowered on my foot healing journey! Dr. Alexis is the ideal person to have on your foot wellness team!! Highly recommended!!! Book your appointment today!!

Imagine having an extremely serious medical condition that your primary care practitioner failed to…read morerecognize, did not take seriously and took no effective action to address. If your primary care practitioner happens to be Elissa Mullen, ND, this scenario is a distinct possibility, or at least it was for me when she mis-diagnosed a cancerous tumor the size of a plumb in the back of my throat for a case of tonsilitis. Out of concern regarding the symptoms I had been experiencing all summer, I scheduled an appointment in September with Dr. Mullen, my primary care practitioner. After describing the symptoms to her, she initially attributed them to my orthodontic aligners. However, after visually examining the back of my throat she said my left tonsil was the largest she had ever seen and proscribed antibiotics for what she told me was likely a case of tonsilitis. After completing two rounds of antibiotics, I retuned a couple of weeks later and again, she prescribed antibiotics. At neither visit did she take a swab to test her theory nor suggest that I see a specialist. Finally realizing that I needed real medical care, I found Dr. Grace Wandell, a throat specialist at Swedish Hospital on my own. But because I had to self-refer, I had to wait weeks for the appointment instead of days had my primary care practitioner made the referral. As soon as I opened my mouth, Dr. Wandell recognized my tumor for what it was, taking biopsies to confirm what her trained and experienced eyes told her instantly. As I see it, the purpose of a primary care practitioner is to serve as your medical sentinel to flag potential health risks--If she can't even do that, then what meaningful protection do you have?

I'm sharing this review to help others avoid the same frustration. Don't waste your time or money…read more I saw Dr. Mullen last year after being told that my insurance would be accepted. I provided my recent blood work, but she dismissed it because it didn't include the reference ranges and suggested I redo the exact same tests. During the appointment, she spent more time talking about her own experience with my condition than offering any real advice or solutions. At my follow-up appointment (which wasn't necessary since she couldn't identify the issue or offer a solution), there was still no clear plan of action. Instead, she provided completely unrelated insights, which I quickly dismissed since I had a PCP appointment scheduled and decided to move on. Two months later, I received a bill for both visits because my insurance had rejected the claims. Now I'm stuck paying out of pocket for two appointments that were completely useless.

I cook healthy meals regularly for myself now and almost prefer that to eating out. I also am diving back into endurance races and taking on other things I would have felt were too far out of reach before. I deeply appreciate Stella's 1-on-1 style that feels very personal to me. She confirmed multiple times because it was after hours, but she was told to come. We arrived today 5 minutes early to an empty and obviously closed medical office. We called and got no answer, so we left back home. 45 minutes later Dr. Shibley calls and sounds very agitated on the phone, not remembering the call from yesterday, saying he doesn't take walkins, and saying he was in office at the time and we could come in. Incredibly unprofessional. Don't waste your time with this guy. After reading some other reviews on here, I'm glad I didn't let my wife go to this guy's office after hours alone. He sounds like a truly awful person.

FYI This was posted in the Seattle Times on 6/30/2020 Beware:…read more Seattle doctor charged with fraud in alleged coronavirus-relief scheme A Seattle doctor was charged Tuesday with wire fraud and bank fraud, accused of fraudulently seeking more than $3 million in coronavirus relief loans, according to a statement from the United States Department of Justice. Federal prosecutors in the Western District of Washington say Eric R. Shibley, 41, submitted several fake applications for Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans, which help businesses keep their workforce employed during the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the complaint, Shibley applied to several financial institutions in the names of businesses with "no actual operations or by misrepresenting the business's eligibility." In the applications, he allegedly misrepresented his number of employees and payroll expenses, hid his own criminal history and submitted fake tax documents, according to a Tuesday statement from the U.S. Attorney's Office. The loans, which are administered by the Small Business Administration, became available through the CARES Act, a federal law enacted in March to provide emergency financial assistance to Americans suffering economic hardships because of the pandemic. The CARES Act authorized up to $349 billion in forgivable loans to small businesses, and in April, Congress authorized more than $300 billion in additional PPP funding. Shibley's first appearance in court was scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday. The Department of Justice has a complaint form on its website, justice.gov, to collect reports of alleged fraud attempts related to COVID-19. Reports can also be made to the DOJ's National Center for Disaster Relief Fraud Hotline at 866-720-5721.
